It’s a Kroger. What’s not to like? I always like to head there right at the time when they discount all of the chicken down to like 2 – 3 for a whole rotisserie. Again, if you go in with low expectations you will be surprised. Always get good checkout service and rarely need help elsewhere because I’m ok finding things on my own.

This rating is for the Kroger seafood: still the worst I’ve ever purchased from any Columbus area Kroger store. I tried giving them another chance(why I don’t know, you’d think I’d have learned my lesson by now) and bought some shrimp from their seafood case and it’s the absolute worst shrimp ever. It’s spongey, watery, rubbery and very bland. It doesn’t even taste like shrimp. And it took longer than it should have to get a pound of the stuff because the little guy working the counter that day didn’t go in and just grab the shrimp and toss it into a bag, like most people do. I stood there and watched him pick the shrimp up, 2 – 3 at a time, surfing through the mound of it, studying it before dropping it into the bag, like he was nitpicking at it, looking for certain pieces. And that’s exactly what he did. He made sure I got the smallest pieces of the entire mess of shrimp in the case. I’ve tried doctoring it, but there’s just no possible way. I tossed out nearly a whole pound of shrimp. It’s inedible.
