Market Blooms Etc

Beautiful arrangement. Absolutely stunning! Definitely going to have them arrange something like this for my wedding. My fiancé got them for me on a whim for $ 25. I think I’ll have to get fresh flowers each time we visit the North Market now.

I can’t say much that hasn’t already been said about market blooms. Truely lovely, eclectic flowers with nice customer service. This isn’t your neighborhood grocery with carnations and a dozen rose buds. The bouquets are smaller than the average bouquet but packs a punch with originality.

I’ve never been disappointed when I come to Market Blooms and ask for help in picking out an arrangement for either a special occasion or just because you felt like giving someone special some flowers. I usually have them make something custom with whatever is available in the shop instead of the premade arrangement because I prefer something simple with 1 – 2 different types of flowers, maybe some green accents in a smallish vase.
And the prices may be slightly higher than what you would pay in a large flower shop chain or in a grocery store, I like supporting the local business and the north market as a whole.

I called about six florists looking for irises, my boyfriend’s favourite flower. Nobody else had them or offered to get them for me, but Marty special ordered them for me in 1 day and only charged me $ 1.20 per stem! When I picked up the flowers, they were stunning, long-​stemmed and super fresh– far exceeding my expectations. Even after I trimmed the stems a little to make my arrangement, the finished bouquet measured over 26″ tall and looked like a million bucks (see photo). Overnight all the blooms opened, just in time to give them to my boyfriend yesterday. I couldn’t be more pleased. Even though my order didn’t amount to a lot of money, everyone treated me like a VIP. As long as I live in Columbus, I doubt I will ever buy flowers from anywhere else. Thank you (:

Very pretty flowers at a very reasonable price.

My niece just got into a car accident last night, was hurt and is in the hospital. I live in IL and wanted to send her some cheer. I’ve learned to be skeptical of florists when I send flowers long distance. Big kudos for Market Blooms because they did exactly what I had asked for at a reasonable price. My niece and sister love the arrangement and I do too. Thank you!

Great shop with friendly, helpful staff. I got a bouquet on a whim, and they had a nice selection of fresh flowers at decent prices. Wrapped it up, with some water since I knew it was going to sit awhile. Sweetie was very pleased. Now if we can just keep the cat from knocking them over…
Oh, and as always, remember to get your parking ticket stamped.

Had a reason to send flowers and thought to try here first. Requested what they had fresh; something clean and classic. Was told tulips and green hydrangea… perfect. Asked my price pt ($ 50); flowers were $ 40 and delivery was $ 8. Clean arrangement w no filler. Always go w your local florist!
Best of all, they brought cheer to their recipient!

Really cute shop but overpriced. My husband called asking for a suggestion on a bouquet for around $ 35 and we got this — see pic. They asked what he wanted but he didn’t know what flower to say that would fit his budget :(Half were fresh, half lasted only a day. Lots of stems but again for $ 37 plus the cost to park, not sure it’s worth it. Will not return.

Feeling uncharacteristically romantic, I drove to North Market on a whim in search of flowers for a date.
I was pleasantly surprised by the wide selection and fair pricing of flowers at Market Blooms.
They had a number of small pre-​made arrangements ranging from $ 8 – 12. Perfect for home or for impressing a date (hopefully?).
I picked out a small arrangement with lilies and blue salvia for $ 10. The lady working the shop was extremely pleasant and even apologetic for being on the phone.
Overall, I was very satisfied with the arrangement and I will definitely return to Market Blooms for any future flower needs.

I checked out Market Blooms Etc at the Farmers Market in downtown Columbus this morning. The entire market was really cool (I ate at Taste of Belgium. That will be my next review). Market Blooms Etc had a great variety of different bouquets of flowers ranging from very summery styles to fall and some in between.
I do not know much about flowers, just that my lady friend likes blue and purple. The florist (I apologize for not catching his name) was fantastic and very helpful. I have a two hour drive to Indianapolis and they even gave me a bucket with water to store the flowers in for my ride home.
Definitely a great selection of flowers with exceptional service!
I believe the bouquet I purchased was right around $ 12 – 13, which I believe is a totally fair price for the bouquet.

I called Market Blooms after reading the reviews to deliver flowers to my daughter for her birthday. I called on Monday for Tuesday delivery due to her class schedule I asked they be delivered early in the afternoon rather than late. I also just gave them an outline of what I wanted colors what I wanted to spend and shape of arrangement. They were so friendly and easy to deal with over the phone. The arrangement arrived as requested and thrilled my daughter. I would use Market Blooms again in a second.

Thank you to the wonderful woman who gave me the tissue to wrap my flowers. My rider friends loved it. You are the best!

Was recommended to check this florist out by a couple of friends. Was very disappointed. I went with a special project in mind and I felt rushed just trying to explain what I was looking for. I showed up at the end of the day and the line was long but I chose to wait since they came highly recommended. Most likely won’t go back.

Found Market Blooms as a result of Unilocal reviews… and yes, it was another great find. Needed to send Mother’s Day flowers from afar and am not one who can specify exactly what flowers should go in the vase. Woman on the telephone was great in asking questions and created a bouquet that had Mom raving. Nice change away from the online florists where the delivered version looks about as much like the online picture as a McD’s burger looks like the one on TV. Market Blooms is as good as it gets!

Hands down best florist in Columbus. I’ve been going here for many years (at least 10). Every once in a while I may be unfaithful and stray — but I quickly regret that. First of all, if you don’t know the North Market, you need to get there. Market Blooms is typical of the North Market. They are a local vendor, making a living selling their product, putting customer service and satisfaction first with a great quality product.
They have a huge selection of flowers. They will also whip up a bouquet on the fly. My typical interaction is: «I have X dollars, I need a flower for an anniversary, how about purple and yellow?» I come back 10 minutes later, and they blow my mind with what they pull together.
Prices are amazing. Flowers are amazing. Service is amazing. Whoever you are buying flowers for will be amazed by what you give them.

I think I caught Market Blooms on a bad day. This was my first time stopping at their set-​up in the NM. I was surprised by how affordable their bouqets were! I just wanted a hydrangea to go in a small vase I had at home. Only $ 5! I was happy about that.
I had a hard time finding one that didn’t have any brown on it. But once I got my ‘perfect’ one, I waited, and waited, and waited for someone to ring me out. I was tempted to set the cash on the desk and leave. The staff member was too busy tending to her phone vs. a customer. Once she finally saw she needed to do her job she was friendly and informative. She gave me great tips on how to best keep the hydrangea going good.
Well, I followed all her instructions and the poor thing didn’t last 5 days.
I guess I got a dud stem on a dud day. I don’t think I’ll be back, but I can see why people think it’s great when you get good service and good flowers.

I love this shop! They always put together the most unique and beautiful arrangements.
They helped my figure out what to do for an arrangement for an after baptism brunch (totally not up my alley) and it was amazing.
I swing by there about once a week to grab something fresh and beautiful for my home and is definitely going to be my go to for future arrangements.

My mom was a florist for years and this is her number one favorite flower shop. Not only do they have beautiful arrangements but they also have a huge and interesting collection of flowers to choose from if you, like my mom, prefer to do the arranging yourself. My mom has me stop in before I come home to visit to see what they have so I can bring her armloads. She has me on lookout for their green calla lilies.
One of the amazing things to me is how fresh their flowers. Nothing is more irritating than having a bouquet wilt within days of bringing it home. I’ve had bouquets from Market Blooms last 14 days!

I work out of town now but wanted flowers delivered to my friend at her office in downtown Columbus for her birthday, so I called Market Blooms. I had never ordered from them before but every time I walked by them at North Market I noticed how fabulous their flowers looked.
I told them a price point and told them to include pinks and purples, and requested hydrangeas. My friend was overjoyed with her arrangement which was huge and looked like it cost a ton. Ordering from any other florist to get this arrangement would have been over 100 dollars and I paid 60.
Best of all, the woman who took my order on the phone was very friendly and professional. I will order from them again any time I need flowers in Columbus. I am not surprised to see that they have so many other 5 star reviews, because they do everything right.

We chose Market Blooms as the florist for our wedding. They did a fantastic job. I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of their work, and their service.

Market Blooms is sweet. At the center of the North Market, it really ties the place together.
It’s in the little triad of North Market shops that I go to a couple times a week at least. Coffee at A Touch of Earth, some fruit at the Greener Grocer, then to Market Blooms.
Like most shops at the North Market, I feel really good when I walk away from this flower shop. It’s like I got the better end of the deal without having to actually screw someone over. There’s a huge variety of fresh flowers that changes everyday. You can design your own arrangement, or ask them to make a unique arrangement for you. They sell in bulk, individual flowers, or however you want it. They also deliver. And I hear they give you a free bag of rose petals if it’s your anniversary (to do it on).
So basically Market Blooms provides all the services of a bigger flower shop, but they’re better because they’re independently owned and provide a far more personal experience. It’s almost like real life in there.
