McAtee Plumbing Heating & Air

McAtee has been great. I moved into my new house and needed some quick plumbing fixes like a garbage disposal and a water line to our new fridge. When they arrived the technician worked quickly and did a great job. He went above and beyond helping with things we didn’t know were even wrong yet, like the pipes under the sink in suspect condition when we took a closer look. He even put a seal around our sink which we didn’t realize was completely unattached to the counter. Then when our furnace went out they came by promptly when called and were very reasonable considering it was after hours. When it came time to do the actual fix the work was done within minutes and the service was great. Very affordable as well. I really can’t say enough about how great McAtee has been!

I usually don’t or ever write bad reviews but in this case I commit myself to do so. The most horrible service I ever had!!! I was in the process relocating my business & needing plumbing done. I got 4 bids and I end up with McAtee. Jason the tech came down and gave me a reasonable estimate. I decided to work with them. Dawn whom works at McAtee told me that Jason (plumber) will come out and do the work for me on Tues. Mon. the day before the work got a call from Dawn saying it’s an emergency and we need Jason on Tues. (Was a little disappointing but ok). Then Tues. got a call from Dawn again saying they (McAtee) needs Jason on Tues. & that Wed will be for sure. (ok, at this point I’m kind a nervous because I need my shop to be open)…Wed. morning Dawn calls again, now she’s being ridiculous saying that «I promise you Jason will be yours all day Thursday & Friday»…I told her it is what it is but I’m not happy about it. So, Thurs. late morning got a call from Dawn… now she says Jason is no longer with the company… she says“Work with me & I’ll try to get you another plumber by next week.” Well, end of the day no phone calls what so ever. Bottom line this company wasted my time and I would respect it if they told me earlier so I could move on to another plumber company. luckily last minute I found an amazing plumber that respect my time and have the decency to be upfront if he couldn’t do something. Just be honest and stop THE BULL SHIT. I will tell everyone I know about my experience with this company. I am a member of Angies’ list, google, Unilocal,etc… This is my 1^st bad review ever. Read my Unilocal I always try to support local and small business. But not this one… Horrible. I don’t know how they stay in business.
