Sad to hear this location is closing. Can’t imagine why meijer is not going to stay here. Certainly they had business! I love northland. Want to continue loving it! I hope a new store comes here and does well.

Ok it’s close to me I know this store. On the flip side I’m not digging the ignorant customers who come here being really demanding and rude. Yes that’s a bid to the Somalis who seem to feel they are owed something seen this more than several times. Hey you don’t like it here go back to your country. I’m tired of them acting like they are owed something. The people who work here really try hard to please. It’s clean and neat. I feel bad for those who have to deal with the crap day in and day out.

Meijer is where I decided to go to utilize my new Isis phone(a new feature on phones that allows you to simply wave the phone at the credit card terminal and voila! you’ve paid your bill) since many grocery stores around here don’t take Isis. I got some incredible Jarlsberg cheese from the über friendly lady at the deli counter(who even gave me a free slice to eat, woo hoo) that wasn’t cheap($ 10.99/pound) and some other misc stuff for dinner. The store is clean, the help is very friendly and their produce is good, especially their awesome grapes which I got on sale for 99 cents pound this week, but the reason for the 3 star rating and not higher is their prices are simply too high compared to Facebook. If you’re looking for a higher quality place then Meijer is def. a place to visit to get your groceries, especially fresh produce, but you will pay more. Be sure if you visit this location to check out their deli and definitely give that Jarlsberg swiss a go, you won’t be sorry!

I needed to pick up a few things on a weekday, but everything else was already closed so we had to drive to Northland. I hate Northland… it’s creepy. The area is rundown and filled with people you should probably stay away from. So going here at night creeps me out. I dont like Meijer much, prefering Target and even Walmart(which I hate). I like the selection here though. Meijer has some good stuff that you cant find at other chains like Target; like a 20″ bamboo cutting board for $ 9. Meijer’s in general have all been very confusing to navigate, but the prices have always been worth it. I give this location 2 stars, mainly for safety reasons and how rundown it is. 4 stars for selection. I think the highest I would ever rate a Meijer is 3 stars though.

this is my local meijer store. like so many other places in this area, it needs rehabilitated. old carts, lots of stuff out of stock, and tons of empty floor space.(the non grocery area looks really weird). i find myself going to the other area meijer stores just to have a nicer shopping experience.
