My office is right above this place. I’ve never had a long wait and the family that owns this place are nicest! Convenient for downtown. Staff is always very nice!

First time client, job well done Jeffery & Doreen! They both gently took off my daughter’s and my acrylic nails without damaging our natural nails. I got a clear gel polish and my daughter got regular polish. I am giving this salon four stars only because the owner was kind of getting rude with one of the other clients and I don’t think that’s acceptable whatsoever you might have a bad day understandable and yes many people need to realize that the workers want to go home at a reasonable hour. It can take at least an hour for most nail services. If you are closed at 8pm take your last client at 7pm no later and post a sign. Clients can be just as rude and inconsiderate with other peoples time, but regardless the owner did not need to be short with the other client, not good business practice. But I will be going back to see Jeffery & Doreen, hopefully they will provide my daughter and I with the same excellent service as the first time, looking forward to it!

Really disappointed in my recent visit to this salon. The woman took FOREVER (I was there an hour and 45 mins for a pedicure and acrylic fill), and filed my one toenail too short which I specifically asked her not to touch. The filing of my fingernails was a joke. She was filing my skin on the sides for some unknown reason (it actually hurt), and every one was strangely rounded and crooked. I came home and refiled every single one. The toenails were filed slightly better, but several were not completely painted. For as long as she took, and for the price (over $ 50 for these two services), I would have expected a much better outcome.

This place is about what you would expect a nail salon like this to be. Service was adequate. They did a decent job our my finger and toe nails. Nothing was over-​the-​top spectacular, but the inside was comfortable and the pedicure chairs are plush. They did not provide much of a message for hands or feet. I received the manicure/​pedicure special, and was charged an extra $ 3, but I didn’t realize it until later, so I didn’t have the chance to ask why I was charged extra, when I only had one color polish and no special design to my nails or french polish put on.

Pros: when my daughter messed up her nails twice in 5 minutes they graciously re-​did them.
cons: super long wait without anyone telling us there would be one. The first woman who tried to do my nails was having a bad day or something so in the middle of the job she asked «you don’t like them?» I said no. She then got up packed her stuff and left the salon. The man who then stepped in, took off the crappy job that she did and did my nails well was good. Total time it took to get our manis and pedis was 2 hours. Not acceptable.

Will never return to this salon again because this was the worst service I’ve ever received, not to mention it looked very dirty. I had taken the time to make an appointment, arrived on time, and had to wait when I got there because no one was at the front desk. I signed in and looked for a gel nail color. A group of three people came in after me as a walk in without an appointment and were seated for three pedicures immediately. After they were seated someone asked me what I needed… I said I had an appointment and was told to sit in a manicure chair. I then waited for 15 minutes, then decided to ask someone how much longer I would have to wait. The man I asked ended up not being able to speak English, and I was shouted at to talk to someone else. I asked again, and the woman said she was almost done with the current customer. So I sat and waited. The employee then tried to hurriedly finish painting the customer’s nails and the customer noticed and wasn’t satisfied. That’s when i decided to leave and never come back. Don’t come here if you want a nice experience.

The people were nice, service was good and they include lil extras like hand and foot massages, hot towels and bottled water. Prices are also reasonable.

I would not come back here again. I was getting a manicure and polish removal/​change. I travel for work so I’ve been to many different salons all over the east coast. I’ve never been cut to the point of bleeding. She knicked me once and I expressed my discomfort and asked her to be careful. Then on the next hand she really cut me open good and the blood came. After looking at the worn towels and the tools coming from an old kaboodle I started to get nervous that this isn’t the best place to get an open wound. At that point I just wanted a band aid and to leave. The chemicals that followed were really not helping: disinfectant, base coat, polish, top coat. Just forget it and give me a band aid so I can get out of here. No discount either. Wish I would’ve just done my nails myself today.

Great customer service. Very nice, professional staff. Booked 3 mani pedis one day in advance. One french, two just buff for guys. We were all really happy with the quality and service.

I’ve gone 3 – 4 times and overall today I’ve decide that I will not return. The old guy I had doesn’t care. I’ve had him a couple of times before because I request the reflexology and he’s the only one that does it. While the massage is really good, the painting of the nails are horrible. The nails don’t look clean at all. I had to remind him of cuticle treatment. Today was the first time I’ve been that was busy and I was rushed through. I prefer CK Nails in Grandview. The people are nice and they care about the customer!

Started out good and then went downhill fast. Paid $ 50 for a horrible gel manicure. Charged extra for a trim that never happened and the lady messed up my polish. Wouldn’t listen to me and was paying more attention to her next client than me. I won’t be back.

This place is right around the corner from my office so I like to go get gel manis on my lunch breaks. I’ve never made an appointment and always get right in (granted it’s usually between 11:30 and noon on a weekday.) For the cost ($ 30 if you pay cash) it’s a pretty good deal. Takes about an hour and they do all the maintenance and then the polish. For the most part my nails always look pretty good. I’ve had a couple different people but they all do a good job. It’s not the place to go if you wanna chat, but they’re efficient. I’ve had some basic nail art done once and it was ok, but I wasn’t overly impressed. However, if you just wanna get a mani on a weekday afternoon, I definitely recommend it. I will be back!

I was a walk-​in and got a mani and pedi. Only had to wait about 5 minutes and got everything done in an hour. Great service, nice people and my nails look great!

The main owner is rude. And I got a newbie! At least they offered my bottled water. Not worth the money though :/

Massage chair was awesome. It’s different from my usual mani-​pedi I usually get in NYC.

Great chairs, great service and a perfect mani/​pedi. This salon is tucked away on Gay St., which is my favorite street to drive down. Have you seen the brownstones? If not, take a drive one quiet Sunday morning. It totally reminds me of the Cosby Show! Back to the salon, I walked in around 6pm. Parking was a bit difficult, but I snagged a spot in front after driving around. Of course, it was a 30 minute spot, but the salon offered to keep putting money in for me while I was there. How’s that for service?
The chairs were great, I like the ones that really knead into your back. They also give you water without asking, which is nice. Both services (gel mani and regular pedi) were great. If I wasn’t leaving town, I’d go back and get the reflexology pedicure, it sounds divine. I was out within about an hour and a half, which is pretty good. Both my pedicure and gel manicure were absolutely perfect! And they give a great foot/​hand massage too.
Everyone seemed friendly, and cared about your experience. There were some regulars in there, and they were conversing about work stuff. I thought that was nice because they actually remembered the details. Definitely worth a try if you live in the downtown area!

Sold! What a quiet and relaxing salon this is! With great options. The people are nice and this pedi, which I am receiving as we speak, is awesome! I’m in heaven. The people who work here are young and hip. It’s like a little hidden treasure! I’ll be back…

Great service. Great color selection. No old/​dried up colors. Jeffrey did my mani and pedi and I would definite return the next time I’m in Columbus.

I work within walking distance from this salon, so I went today for a french manicure and had a lovely experience. The owner lady was very efficient and did a very nice job on my nails. She cleaned them up, massaged my hands with lotion, and even asked if I wanted to pay before she started with the polish, so I wouldn’t need to dig through my purse with wet nails. It only took ½ hour and $ 20 (prior to tax and tip). I’ll definitely go back.
