New World Inn & Conference Center

Recently acquired by Ramada. This place is a joke. They hiked their rates up for weekend of the Heartland pool tournament, and said it was because of the new breakfast they put in. Well let me tell you something, you could get a finer meal in jail. Powdered eggs, microwaved sausage that is pure grease, and a fun sized orange juice with a peel off top (like a yogurt container). This is seriously jail food, and they charged extra for it! The room was musty as hell with a strange chemical smell. I woke up with a runny nose that did not go away for two days. Each bed had three pillows and one bed did not have any sheets. Housekeeping knocked on the door at 8:30am and woke us up, and actually entered the room when we didn’t answer. After telling them to get the hell out, they proceeded to run the vacuum in the hallways right outside the door for about 15 minutes. I will never stay here again! In fact I might avoid this pool tournament just because of this hotel.
