THIS is the cutest new shop in town! If you are looking for a go-​to shop for hostess gifts— Objects is the place!!! I was impressed with the wide variety at different price points. It’s unusual to find quality, cute items priced $ 25 and below at the boutiques in Grandview and UA, but Objects had a lot!

Not only are the objects beautiful, they are displayed in stylish and smart ways. The vignettes are imaginative and make style accessible to all. The owners have a fresh, open approach to design. They are highly credentialed professionals who share their talents without condescending. And the service is impeccable. A pleasure to shop and a place to love

I LOVE this shop! It is really well curated with home goods, clothes, and even baby stuff. great for gifts or personal shopping. i love stopping in here once or twice a month to see what clothes are on sale and check out the home goods. I pretty much love 98% of everything in the store and have bought clothes, gifts, and home items here.
I love that they are open 7 days a week! The staff is friendly and helpful, but not pushy. The prices commensurate with the quality of the products and all prices are very fair. They have items that range the whole spectrum of the price scale from cheap to expensive, but most are middle-​of-​the-​road-​affordable. It is so worth stopping in here when you’re in Grandview. It is by far my favorite boutique!

How cute is this place?! I wish they hadn’t named themselves «Objects for the Home» because they really are more of a lifestyle boutique. They have objects for the living room, kitchen, bedroom, yes… but also cute women’s fashions, shoes, jewelry and other things that make me create a sacred pact with my wallet upon walking in. Seriously, I want EVERYTHING in here.
The aesthetic is right up my alley and the shop is laid out in a way that encourages exploring (my favorite way to shop). The prices aren’t cheap, but they are right on par with the products you’re getting and definitely more reasonable than a Pottery Barn or West Elm.
I live so close I have to force myself to keep visits to a minimum. Love this place!

I LOVE this store! They have beautiful merchandise at really great prices. If you are looking to add some pieces to your home, searching for a gift, or wanting to find a new dress/​top this place is perfect! I could go in here every week and easily come out with a few new treasures.

Reminds me of a mini-​anthropolgie. Prices reflect quality of product, cute boutique with a little bit of everything.

— No true cons, but its not a store I would drive to Grandview for alone. But I’ll continue to stop in when I’m in the area!

My husband and I got some burlap lamp shades from Objects for the Home. They had to special-​order them, and they let us take them home on trial before we even paid! Talk about trust! We love the shades and definitely have been back for other home-​decorating items. The store also offers neat gift items. I feel like there is something for every price range at the store, and it’s a nice experience shopping there.

Objects for the Home is definitely my go-​to place when I’m looking for wood furniture and home accessories. We are slowly replacing all of our cheap college IKEA furniture with quality pieces, and I wouldn’t shop anywhere else. There are a few other local home décor places in Columbus with similar aesthetics, but the prices at Objects don’t make me weep openly like the others.
I had been coveting their custom dining tables for at least a year and a half, but we lived in a small apartment last year, and the long dining table I wanted wouldn’t fit. We bought a house in Merion Village in March 2012 and after replacing some other furniture, I finally tackled the dining room. I tried to find cheap alternatives, but I realized that nothing but the real thing would satisfy me. The fates were on my side, because just as I had saved up the money for the table, they had a sale and I was able to get not only the table, but a matching bench and 4 dining chairs. We went with white (antique white, I think?) legs and chocolate finish for the dining table, and they also painted and upholstered 2 different pairs of dining chairs to match. I was particularly impressed with the price of the chairs, because those things aren’t cheap when you buy them from big-​box stores. The dining set completely «makes» our newly painted dining room. Kris & Chelsea were very helpful and great to work with, and I couldn’t be happier with the quality. I know this table will be with us for a very long time (seriously, I think I want to be buried with it).
Next on my to-​buy list is a TV stand from their Heritage Collection, which I plan to order next month, and I suspect I’ll be saving up for a dresser and possibly end tables/​accent tables after that. It’s always fun to stop in (or check their Facebook page) to see what new things they’ve added, because furniture pieces move in and out pretty quickly. That’s why I need to save up ahead of time, just in case something amazing shows up!
Finally, I want to give Objects two thumbs up for their collection of dining and serving dishes. I am a baker & blogger, and I love to buy all my pretty kitchen stuff here. They look great in photos and in person. Beautiful milk glass cake stands, vintage dessert plates and silverware, and adorable dessert jars with wooden spoons have all been added to my kitchen.
I could go on and on, but this is starting to get a little swoony and embarrassing! Anyway, I love this place and think everyone should shop here when looking to get some unique, quality furniture for his/​her home!

Objects for the Home is my go-​to place for small home accessories and gifts. I discovered this place not soon after moving to German Village and it has been perfect to help my new place feel like home. I have purchased a few large pieces of furniture and have received many compliments! I have no complaints at this place other than one particular co-​worker who is not very friendly… She is often on her laptop and can be rude when approached by a client. Despite this, I keep coming back for more because I love the feel of the store. Think West Elm, but locally owned!

Retail doesn’t get much better than Objects for the Home. Locally-​owned in the heart of Grandview, this is our go-​to for gifts. The place is filled with a blend of unique antiques and crafty home décor items. On top of that, their service is impeccable. We ordered a custom made picture from them that wasn’t matted correctly by the artist. We took it back in, and everyone did all they could do to correct the piece. They got it back to us in a timely fashion at no charge. The courtesy of their team along the way was much appreciated. All around great experience shopping at Object for the Home.

My favorite furniture (and increasingly, accessory) store in the area. The owners are so nice, the dog is adorable, and the furniture is amazing. I just wish I had unlimited disposable income so I could shop there all the time!!!

This place used to be a solid 4 star but sadly they lack that bit of ‘mom and pop’ appeal since they moved to Grandview. I do like their stuff and will buy on occasion depending on if I’m greeted or not when I go in. That can be a little hit or miss these days.

Objects for the Home opened in June last year. It is located in a fantastic strip of shops in Clintonville, making for a fantastic stop on an afternoon shopping trip. During the winter, it is closed on Mondays. The shop has an interesting mix of vintage pieces and antique furniture, and handmade jewelry and other items by local crafters. Small but really warm and fun atmosphere. Recommend!
