Such a cool place for kids. They have an awesome learning center, many types of reptiles and the bird exhibit. They also have a tree top walk and a dog park as well as a live beehive and place for kids to color and read books. It’s d definitely a cool fun educational inexpensive way to entertain the whole family. All they ask of for a donation which goes to food for the animals and building more exhibits. Really awesome place!!!

One of the best places to enjoy the outdoors. They have a wonderfully interesting learning center. There are many kinds of reptiles and a bird exhibit. There is a tree top walk, but my guy and I did not go on it… because we’re cautious people… They also have a huge dog park and lengthy nature trails that look as though they’ve always been there. Beautiful and peaceful place that was not at all crowded on Saturday around 2 PM. Nice and safe place to go and think and enjoy God’s creation. We’ll be visiting more often. Thank you, Oxbow!

Really good for what little they have. Only took about 20 minutes to see everything. The displays they do have are really good in detail and the bee keeper was real knowledgeable. Would really like to see them expand it more.

Disappointed! My children were very disappointed. We had heard great things, but it is a super small center with few exhibits. They recommend $ 5 donation but for what is there, it should be less. Doubt we will return since it only took maybe 15 total minutes of our time.

This place has expanded since I was here last. Some very wise SPLOST funding has paved the way for a really nice educational facility for the community. Clean and spacious, with an eye on keeping things «green,» they have aquariums, displays, classroom space, event space… What a resource!
Staff was super-​friendly. They welcomed Georgia Lakes Society with open arms and were extending every courtesy to help us with our regional conference. I’m glad to have met them. And I look forward to visiting again. Holler if you’re coming with.
