Established in 2000.
Oyama Juku (Padron Dojo)-USA Jissen Karatedo is the 1st official school of Kyokushin Karate in Ohio. Shihan Padron has 40+ years of martial arts experience and is the Chief Instructor of Oyama Karatedo Union: Kyokushinken. While living in New York, he received his training from the 1st & 2nd generation instructors sent to New York by Mas Oyama, The founder of Kyokushin karate.

Began his training in Brooklyn NY in 1974. Received his training from the fathers of US Kyokushinkai-kan Karate. A former full-contact karate champion and amateur kickboxing champion relocated to Ohio. He began training in shotokan karate and in 1994 he received 2nd Dan. He opened the first kyokushin club in 1996 and in 2000, the 1st official Kyokushin dojo in Ohio and established Oyama Karatedo Union: Kyokushinken. In 2006 he completed the 30 man kumite and was promoted to 5th dan. From 2011 – 2013 he was a member of Kudo-Japanese MMA and was the Head coach of Ohio Kudo Federation until 2013. In 2016 Oyama Juku became an independent kyokushin organization and USA Jissen Karate was founded by Shihan Padron.
