Established in 1992.

Since 1992, Dr. Gregory E. Phillips has been working with patients to provide the best periodontal care in the Columbus area. Dr. Phillips’ experience in periodontics is coupled with genuine concern for his patients. All of our team is dedicated to your comfort and prompt attention as well. Our goal is to ensure the health of the gums, connective tissue and bones in your mouth.

Dr. Phillips is a native Hoosier, growing up in Northwest Indiana. After attending Indiana University in Bloomington and graduating from Indiana University School of Dentistry (IUSD), he practiced restorative dentistry for 5 years. With the support of his loving family, he returned to IUSD to complete a residency in periodontics with a minor in oral pathology. After graduating in 1992 with a Master’s of Science in Dentistry and Certificate in Periodontics, he opened his current practice in Columbus, Indiana.

In addition to The Columbus Center for Periodontics and Dental Implants, Dr. Phillips is involved in dental education holding the position of Clinical Professor of Periodontics at IUSD and is involved with Spear Education in Scottsdale, Arizona. He maintains the Columbus Dental Forum, a study club for dentists in and around the Columbus area. He has presented at local, state and national meetings.

Dr. Phillips is a Trustee of the Indiana Dental Association and has authored several scientific articles on periodontics and dental Implantology. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and has been awarded Fellowships in The American College of Dentists, The International College of Dentists, The International Team for Implantology and The Pierre Fauchard Academy.

Dr. Phillips lives in Columbus with his wife, Stephanie, sons Evan and Sam and great-​niece, Sophia. They have 2 dogs, Maggie, a cocker spaniel and Harley, a golden retriever.
