Quality Inn & Suites North/Polaris

This hotel should not even have 1 star. I booked my room off Hotwire and I unfortunately got this hotel. Everytime Hotwire has given me this hotel I have had bad experiences here each time. This hotel should just be closed down. I just stayed at this hotel and this time has been the most ridiculous experience I have had. I checked into the hotel last night around 6−7ish and I gave them my credit card and id. They gave me a single bed room and i asked for a double bed because I had two friends with me. So i had to go back up to the front desk… They told me if i wanted a double bed that I would have to pay more for the room. She asked for $ 20 for the «upgrade»… I gave her the money, she gave me the room key and I was on my way. I heard that they remolded since the last time i stayed here and i didnt really notice much of a change. It looked cheap to me but overall the room looked descent enough to stay in for the night. When we walked in the room had a horrible smell. Luckily I always have airfreshners in my car… so i went and grabbed it and I sprayed the room down. Anyways, the problem was not yesterday the problem was this morning. I am guessing the way that the hotel manager gets people out of their rooms is by starting drama with her hotel customers. I recieved a call this morning from the front desk they said that the person who checked me in didn’t get all the information needed. So I told her i would be down in a minute that I had to find my ID. Well, obvious she got impatient… five minutes went by and i was getting ready to walk out to my car to see if my ID was in there. well before I had a chance to get my shoes on and head to the car to look for my ID… I hear a knock on the door. it was the lady from the phone she demanded my ID once again. I told her I am looking for it and that i would be down in a moment when i find it. I went to shut the door and she stopped me and opened my door and walked in my room! My friend was asleep in bed and she woke him up. Not to mention that I had the Please, Do Not Disturb sign on my door. I felt highly disrespected because she just walked into my room demanding me to give her my ID. There was no reason she should have walked into my room! I told her to get out of my room and that I would be down to the front desk soon. She then walked out. I decided that this is not going to end well and I was planning on leaving soon anyways. So, I packed my things up, put them in the car and found my ID before I went to the front desk. My friend came in with me and went to the room to check the room one more time while i was at the front desk. I walked up to the front desk and asked the gentleman if he was the manager and he said no then woman that came to my room said she was and I was like what did you need my ID and as a manager you should have known not to walk in the room when there is a please do not disturb sign on the door. Then we got into a arguement and she ended up saying I needed to leave and i started walking out and she followed me. We had a few words with each other back and forth. I would not suggest anyone stay here. This hotel should be call Hotel Ghetto Inn.

If I could give zero stars for this place I certainly would. This place is worst than sleeping in a hostel. Even better, I could have found a bench to sleep on that was better and cleaner than this place. How could Quality Inn be called Quality Inn when there is no quality to what they are offering. I’m honestly disgusted that I slept in a place so filthy and will never sleep at another Quality Inn for as long as I live.
We checked into a room on a Friday at about 1:00am…(this was after a 7 hour drive). Once we got in the room we noticed shaving gel on the sink and a black ring around the inside of the tub. The front desk changes our room and we had to then try to settle into anther room by 2:00am. The next morning we woke up to realize that the room was more filthy than the first room. I was covered in dog hairs, the tub was again discolored and stained, human hair balled behind the doors, pee stains on linens, yellow pillows, hair inside the pillow cases, Breakfast was horrible, trash wasn’t dumped in the breakfast area and not to mention out screen on the window was broken like someone was trying to break in or had broken in before… should I continue?
I really wanted to give this place a chance, but I couldn’t after so many wrongs! Is it even legal to operate in this manner? The housekeeper knew when they put those sheets on that bed that there were yellow stains all over. But they covered it up with one decent white sheet and crossed their fingers no one would look.
I have pictures to prove how disgusting this place is. Shame on management for allowing this. I guess this is the standard for choice hotels. We stayed at the same location a couple weeks back and there was old food in the fridge. Come on! Do yourself the favor and choose another hotel, there are several options in walking distance of this one. Trust me!
(And if your wondering a manager was NOT there to address the issues, just the front desk person… Not sure why a manager isn’t there on a Saturday morning. we left the hotel half way through our trip).
