Specialties

R Bar Arena has been voted the #1 Hockey Bar in Ohio and one of the best all around! We have 2 dozen flat screens and large projections screens so you’re sure to not miss any game. Our prices are the lowest in the district and we are the only place to catch a CBJ game! We have daily specials and great Happy Hour prices every Monday– Friday from 2 – 8 pm (excluding Arena event days). Check out R Menu online!

History

Established in 2006.

R Bar Arena was originally purchased from the previous owner in 2006. The current owners being huge hockey fans focused on a market that the Arena District was missing. A Neighborhood Bar that also is all about Hockey. In 2009 R Bar Arena moved to its current location, 413 N. Front St. and added a kitchen in January 2010. R Bar Arena has won the Columbus Alive’s Best of the Best Places to watch Hockey for three years running. We have also been featured in many National and International Media’s as the one of the best Hockey Bar’s around.

Meet the Business Owner

Michael D.

Business Owner

One of three owners, Mike is the one who really brought hockey to the R Bar. Married to Natalie (Co-owner and Manager), his main role of the company is to fix things when they are broken.

Natalie is married to Mike and also the General Manager. She is the goto person for almost everything in the Bar. Though not a huge hockey fan before meeting Mike, she is probably more knowledgable then most now.

Danny is the third owner and was an influential help on building the new location. His hard work got the place up and running working long nights those first few months.
