Roosters Restaurant & Bar

If you like pseudo-​chains with mediocre food, then this will be tolerable. Ice tea had almost no flavor. My husband’s burger was flavorless and disintegrated as he tried to eat it. My 6 year old thought the mini corn dogs were great, however.

This place doesn’t seem to need more good wing reviews for it to be understood just how good they are, but I’m a first-​timer here and want to say how much I enjoyed these wings!
I got regular hot wings and the garlic: extra wet. The garlic was slightly spicy and super tasty, but I would get the hot extra wet next time too because I like a lot of sauce! Haha. I can’t wait to try more sauce and different flavors! Good job Rooster’s.

Best Roosters in the area, great wings. Very good service. Great for NFL Sundays as they have NFL ticket and lots of TVs. Pretty standard bar food; when going to a place called ‘Roosters’, its best to stick to the chicken dishes. Only complaint would be the high top bar stools, they’re the worst.

We come here during football season to watch the Buckeyes play. They have numerous TVs, so no matter where you are sitting, you always get a good view of the game. They are ALWAYS busy during these times, but they are really good about cleaning up a table right away when someone leaves so someone else can use the table.
Their wings are really good. They always come out hot, and if there isn’t enough sauce on them, they will gladly get you more. Their drinks are pretty good too.
Only thing I don’t like about this location is their parking lot. They have a fairly large lot in the back, but the restaurant faces 161, so if you want to park in the back, you have to walk the whole way around to get in the front.

i go there with my hubby to grab dinner after work from time to time and each time i always try something different. i still havent ordered the one meal that i truly love. everthing just taste okay, nothing special. oh well, i guess ill just keep trying but my hubby loves the wings and dumpster fries

Roosters did an awesome job today serving a mass of customers getting carry out for the Super Bowl. They were well organized and the women working cashier did so with efficiency and cheerfulness. They checked my order before I left to make sure it was correct.

I love the wings here i like mine crispy so i get them well done. Plenty tv to watch your game. Monday nite is wing nite start at 7pm for 59 cent wings cant beat that. If you like good food check them out.

Not my favorite Roosters to visit, but gets the job done.
Got carry out tonight. Daughter and I got boneless and the wife got regular.
Maybe it’s because it was carry out and not done in but the wings seemed a bit on the dry side tonight, Sauce and meat. They weren’t bad, just expected that usually juicy bite that I get from the other locations.

I love eating here especially in groups, but the take out can be unreliable sometimes. Whenever I or my friends order for pick up, half the time we chance getting something wrong with our order. Otherwise, the atmosphere is great, the food is great, and I’ll definitely be back again.

If you enjoy shouting your delivery order into your phone, Rooster’s is perfect for you. A lot of places would have someone in a quiet area answer their phone, but not Rooster’s. At Rooster’s you will enjoy hearing your order taker shout «What», «Are you still there», and «I can’t hear you» because nothing says quality like a company that isn’t smart enough to know that being able to hear a customer is important. If you really want to feel like you are on a speaker phone that was placed in the middle of a crowded restroom at a bus station, Rooster’s is for you!

I am typically take-​out here. Take it for just that.
I went with my standard order over the phone. It is very loud inside roosters, so phone conversation is often repeated. Listen closely as they repeat your order back. I find the individual usually friendly, but rushed. «20−25minutes». Ok
They are located off a service road north of 161/​Dublin Granville Rd. on the northwest corner of Cleveland Ave. Structurally it still carries the old appearance of the previous Dennys. Minimal parking up front with a larger lot in the back. Lots of signs about wrongful parking will result in towing. Neighbors must not be happy. Also plenty of reminders that security cameras are watching. Have I mentioned this area feels a little sketchy? Seeing domestic disagreement from patrons on the way in. Domestic disagreement from employees on the way out. Two young women who were certainly «Carded» staggering out, discussing who should drive.
As I’m waiting my turn to announce my arrival for carryout (15min since call), she brings in a bag from kitchen and calls my name. «That’s me». She opens the box to verify the order is correct. «Have nice night». But I haven’t paid yet. «Oh». Must have been 20 bags ready to go out, and I just got there at the sweet spot.
15 Hot-​Garlic Wings. Medium breading to hold the sauce. Still hot. Steam escapes. Tasty. Meaty. Large wing size. Great flavor. Never overcooked. Crispy is a term they know and can do here if requested. They KNOW wings.
Dining in will still be the New Albany location, but carryout is anywhere.

Rooster’s features great happy hour specials, lots on the menu to choose from, friendly staff. Food is good, but kinda reminds me of hooters, maybe slightly better and the staff is dressed tastefully. Exactly what their sign says, a fun, casual joint. I’ve been here a few times and it’s always hot and fresh. I plan to visit other Rooster’s in Columbus, as it seems like there is one on every corner!

I absolutely love Roosters. I often crave and look forward to their wings.
Tonight we visited this location after the evening church service at Vineyard, which is less than a few miles away. There were slim choices of parking but after a few minutes we were able to get a decent spot in the back of the restaurant. At entering, I was wondering why this location needed an on duty police officer patrolling the guests. I had to use the bathroom upon arrival and regret it. It was disgusting. It was so dirty that I bet the gas station bathroom next door would have been cleaner. These were the top reasons this location got 3 stars.
The staff is wonderful here. Very friendly and helpful and this made the experience better! Instead of wings today I got a Char-​broiled chicken salad. The full size was $ 7.99 and a pretty big serving for the price. The chicken was perfectly cooked.

Me and the misses and a friend went out for the BIG BUCKEYE BUTT KICKING OF OREGON… and we had a great time.
The place was super busy with not only dine in, but take outs as well (a line out the door even!)
The service was really good even with the super busy nature of things.
Wings were hot and fresh. Their sauces at Roosters are good, but if you are looking for a large selection of sauce then this place is not for you.
Drinks were cold and mixed drinks were well made.
Tv’s everywhere, so you can’t miss anything.

Parking is always hard to get at this location as the lot is small.
This location needs a little renovating done, but it is still solid.

Roosters does have the best wings around, great staff, nice HD TV’s for games. I love their spicy garlic & spicy shrimp…

I have been here several times in the past and always had a great experience until this evening. I finished up at church (we have a Sat night service) and picked up a friend. We ordered and my friend got a call that they were needed at home urgently and so we changed our order to go. I ordered 10 mild and asked for them wet and extra crispy, my friend got boneless. The service was great and can not be faulted but the food however was not good.
I dropped off my friend and then came home and prepared to eat, I put the salad in the fridge and figured will eat it tomorrow, I started to eat wings and found that not only were they not well done, nor were they wet, they were plain and swimming in grease.
As I was hungry I decided to eat a couple and that was all I could manage and felt sickly. The one extra small side of sauce they did give was congealed and I am not kidding. i never saw congealed wing sauce before!
The celery and blue cheese was OK and so was the soda. I don’t know about the salad, guess will find out tomorrow.
I feel really disappointed and ripped off for the wings though. Next time it will be BW3 for me.
Again the waitress was awesome and can not fault the service, just the wings :(

Ok this is my chicken wing place and normally I’d give a higher rating but they dropped the ball tonight and I’m sad as I just started doing reviews on Unilocal.Well after being placed on hold and hung up on five times I finally got through to place my pick up order and was ecstatic even though I was highly irritated at this point. My hubby picked up the order but once he got home we were missing items ugh are you kidding me what a misadventure. We called back and were told we would get clucking bucks and what we didn’t get yippee but really people we order from you all the time and yes I’m in the restaurant business too and yes customer service was dismal. As I would if given one or two stars for this total crazy fiasco I’m giving three because I love your saucy meaty wings but if I get this type of service again I will totally downgrade it or if it improves I’ll upgrade hey I know B and C. They would understand.

The wings are good, but they were 15 minutes late with my takeout order after I called with an hour’s notice. I was late to my friends place and missed the first five minutes of the game we were watching.
Pretty sure they forgot about my order and put it in when I got there.
