Select Laundry

Plain & simple, take your business elsewhere. Worst quality washers I have ever dealt with, flooded the apartment 1^st day of use & Dryer is half decent at best. Was stuck with soaking wet clothes for 24hrs because they are so understaffed they couldn’t get anybody out until next day then rescheduled appointment for a week later because they refuse to set up time windows until the day of.

Why didn’t I just buy a washer and dryer? The washers and dryers are poor quality. It’s impossible to get anything dry. When I called to get the dryer serviced or order a replacement, they came out and blamed it on the apartment complex filtering system. I moved, had Select Laundry take the washer and dryer, then called later to order new machines to rent (what was I thinking? My bad for reordering). We got different machines, same dryer problem, they came out to look and blamed in on the new apartment filtering system. What are the chances that two different apartments have the same filtering issue? I made a payment arrangement when I fell behind (I fully accept responsibility for being behind on payments), they didn’t honor the arrangement, charged my card a week early, and when I went to pay for my groceries, my card was depleted of funds, drained BY DOUBLE THE AMOUNT I OWED. When I called, they said, «oops, we charged it twice.» They never apologized and it took two weeks to get a refund of the overage. Do yourself a favor and fork out the dough for an affordable set on Black Friday or from a discount retailer.

No stars at its most. Today, they delivered another half of my W/​D set when they couldn’t fit the front loading washer on last Thursday. This top loading washer looked like it was dirty, crappy, a top metal piece was peeling apart… so I said it looks dirty. And the delivery dud started flipping out on me, raising his voice against me repeatedly saying, «show me where it’s dirty!?» like 10 times! So, I told him he can take back the whole thing. He kept laughing, rattling his mouth, called me a «comedian» whilst he was disconnecting and hauling out the equipments. I had to tell him over several times «do not speak to me an another word inside my apartment», He even yelled saying, «I have a freedom of speech!!» I told him he is unprofessional. He said «You have a right to your opinion!» I was ready to call an authority because I felt unsafe for this unnecessary verbal confrontation this delivery man had created on his account. The price point was alright, but the equipment quality, and foremost, this type of customer service attitude I would refuse to pay a nickle for. This dude’s mouth was filthy as their dirty equipment falling apart like a piece of crap. The other day, they even damaged my walls and stained my carpet when they installed the dryer on first attempt while I was at work. I would not recommend the Select Laundry not even to my worst enemy. I began to wonder? Do they even conduct a background check for their employees? Who knows what type of nasty unhealthy stuffs have been washed in their washers?! So sicken by their dirty laundry service attitude.

The order and delivery process was flawless and the person who delivered our washer and dryer was super nice… however…
the quality of the washer and dryer wasn’t so stellar in the beginning. Many of my clothes came out still dirty. ended up having to clean the washer myself. You’d think as a rental service, they’d make it a point to clean their machines!
Also, the lent filter in my dryer was pretty warn. can’t cost that much to replace.
Now to the fun stuff… the customer service stinks! Not everything is clearly outlined in the contract. when we were a few days past due to pay our bill (mind you, we had been paying around the same time with no word) suddenly the manager is calling me at a rate that some would consider harassment. He did not hesitate to insult me and leave nasty voicemails. hello! That’s unnecessary considering my account history shows that my bill gets paid! We only owed the one month, what’s the big deal! When he proceeded to send rude texts (while I was at work, because I wasn’t able to answer my phone) I explained that I was on a call at work and apologized for missing my payment prior to leaving for vacation… it was a simple mistake and I explained that once I got with my roommate the current month’s rent would be paid in the morning asap. I did pay as promised yet he still continued to harass me with calls and nasty texts and voicemails! I couldn’t get over how rude this guy was! That’s no way to treat paying customers! You have the ability — according to the contract — to come retrieve your property whenever… WHY on earth are you so damn rude about collecting a measly $ 30?! You even have my CC on file! There was no «nice» message ever… this guy began and ended with nothing but hostility and rude remarks. It’s a shame that the washer/​dryer renter market is so slim here because I would have switched sooner!
Just buy something off craigslist or save and buy new. This place isn’t worth your time or your text & voicemail inbox!
