My family and I had to us Shaw-​Davis funeral home for arrangements for my niece who passed unexpectedly, and they were all wonderfully professional and did not attempt to up-​sell us nor did they charge obscene amounts for their services. My family had had a longstanding relationship with another funeral home in town, and although their service has been professional, their costs had become incredibly high. Thus, we explored other options, and boy were we glad we called on Shaw-​Davis.
All of the staff there are exceptional, but we really came to know and appreciate Alena the most. She is a very kind and considerate person and very helpful in choosing service items and for knowing just the right words for an obituary or memorial plaque.
We would highly recommend Shaw-​Davis, and especially Alena in your time of need.

My family and I have used Shaw-​Davis Funeral Homes for three of our family members, my grandmother, then my father and most recently my brother. They are wonderful to work with. Whenever I see Kip, it is bittersweet because we have lost someone but I know that my loved one and my family is in the best of hands and will be treated with the utmost respect. Kip and everyone on his staff are always helpful, kind, caring and patient and financially, Kip always works with us to get us just what we need, nothing more, nothing less. I highly recommend them and wish I could give them more stars than just 5.

Shaw-​Davis provided cremation services for my father. Adam Shaw and his team were extremely accommodating to our family. He did not push unnecessary purchases, and was very gentle in guiding us through the options we selected… the pros/​cons, prices, and the timing of the process. My family and I were so pleased with their level of efficiency, while demonstrating a high level of sensitivity and care.
This was a very sad time for our family, but Adam Shaw and his team helped to make the situation palatable. I highly recommend their services.

Shaw-​Davis was the very first Funeral Home in Columbus. It’s still a family-​owned business led by the Shaw family. This Father-​Sons team works in unison to serve our community just like the generations before them.
I know that this category and subject matter is not one of the more popular ones on Unilocal,but we all know that someday we’ll need to choose the best Funeral Directors we can find to help us bury our loved ones. Well, these are those Directors. With two convenient locations — Short North and Clintonville — the Shaws are always available when you need them.
Did I mention how much they care about their clients? Well, they do. Their passion is to ensure the most efficient, effective and inexpensive funeral every time. They also offer Cremation Services in addition to Casket sales.
