I am planning a wedding in Ohio and came across this website to order kegs from. Here is a description from their website concerning weddings: Are you planning a wedding reception, club outing or company picnic? Our equipment can provide a hassle-free way to dispense your favorite beverages to a group of thirsty guests. You can rent our trailers for a nominal fee and a minimum keg order. The unit will be delivered to your location anywhere in our service area by a professional event coordinator. They’ll set up the unit and instruct you on its operation. We carry a large selection of domestic and imported beers as well as non-alcoholic beverages! Reading this, one would assume that this company offers some type of servicing and assistance for a wedding. Wrong. I initially completed the«request more information» form on the website and got an email back that I needed to call customer service. So, my bad, I would have assumed that your information request would go to customer service. ANYWAYS, I call customer service and she basically tried to talk me out of purchasing kegs for my wedding through them. She stated that they do not offer any services for weddings other than picking up your keg the day of(will not deliver) or having your venue order them. Just saying, try to be a little more honest on your site. Also, my biggest recommendation is to have your information requests actually go to customer service… because it is a waste of everyone’s time to just email back with a phone number and a link to your website.

Not sure how Central Beverage Group’s prices compare to other keg rental places, but everything seemed fairly well priced. They have 3 keg-size choices and a large number of beer types. They also have ice and cups to buy and garbage cans to rent(to put the keg in). Worked well! As a side note, I think they’re known as Superior Beverage Group now.

So during Comfest each year I rent a keg. Central Beverage group is where I get it. Located close to my home, and having good selection to choose from makes CBS my keg rental place of choice. CBS offers everything from domestic to limited import.(Molson counts as an import right?) I am appreciative of the fact that I can rent an entire keg of Blue Moon here. They also carry Magic Hat Brand which is a close second in my preferred beers of Comfest. I like CBS because I am forgetful and they offer tap, trash can rental and even ice as well. The guys here are nice and will never hesitate to help me load the keg as I am not as strong as I look. If they would only offer a service of unloading the keg and carrying it up two flights of stairs, I would pay extra, but they don’t. I have asked. Good selection, strong lifters and reasonable prices will keep me going back to CBS every year.
