Specialties

We specialize in «Preserving Family Memories while capturing the essence of life with portraits of distinction.»

History

Established in 1951.

First Walcott Studio operated by Frank B. Walcott, Berlin, Wisconsin in eighteen hundreds. 1951, Mert & Frances Walcott purchased the Pratt & Emko studio downtown Columbus, originally the Miller Studio.

Mert’s first studio was on the Anzio Beachhead. After WWII, he attended New York Institute of Photography & apprenticed with Ed Block, Beaver.

1956, Mert & Frances purchased the Eli Whitney House [circa 1868]. Mert designed the 1650 sq. ft. studio.

1976, John & Suzanne purchased the studio and added the northlight atrium studio & outdoor portrait park.

The studio uses state of the art electronic imaging to create images that show their clients and products in the best light.
