Wingler Construction & Remodeling specializes in residential window installation, replacement, and repair. We use energy-​efficient windows, and install them with the experience to get the greatest energy-​saving benefit.

We also do general home contracting, including: roof repair, siding installation, repair, and replacement, and general home improvement and remodeling.

History

Established in 1960.

Founded in 1960 by family patriarch, Ambrose Wingler, we began as a small one-​stop shop for remodeling needs and home repairs and through the years, from dedication and hard honest work, grew Wingler Construction & Remodeling. Now run by Ambrose’s son Don Wingler, with over 45 employees, a 13,000 square foot showroom /​warehouse located at 771 S. Hamilton Rd., Don Wingler is kept very busy supervising his crews and working with their many customers. At the showroom, you will find a wide variety of products to choose from, and qualified, knowledgeable and experienced staff to help you with your inquiries and needs.

Business Owner

Don has lived most of his life in Columbus, Ohio and graduated in 1971 from Whitehall High School. He really enjoys keeping busy and has 4 children, and 5 grandchildren that he enjoys spending his spare time with.

He learned from his dad about the construction industry by working side by side with him. Having worked for many years in the field it is not uncommon for him to be out on the jobs still today. He is not afraid to get his hands dirty. He is passionate about his work and customer satisfaction.

Don has developed a love of motorcycles in the past few years, and makes an effort to ride as often as possible. He currently has 2 spoiled dogs at home; a mixed breed and a dachshund. Don has the mindset of work hard and play harder, and enjoys golfing, wood working, and boating.
