History

Established in 2001.

W & W formed in 2001 when Doug Wrightsel, after nearly 40 years of large firm experience, teamed up with his son, Brad. Their distinct backgrounds in similar areas of practice results in a very compatible combination. Their collective legal experience spans over 57 years.

DOUG’s experience includes will contests, actions construing and challenging validity of trusts, taking action to validate and qualify charitable remainder trusts through use of disclaimers and construction actions, representing fiduciaries and beneficiaries in tortious interference actions, and related types of litigation. Doug has frequently served as an expert witness in probate/​trust and attorney malpractice matters.

BRAD’s experience commenced as a magistrate with the Franklin County Probate Court, where he heard matters including adoptions, estate administration and guardianships. Brad is certified as a specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the Ohio State Bar Association.
