Ronald S. Zimmer & Associates is a family and divorce law firm that works with clients throughout Long Island and the surrounding boroughs. We handle a wide range of Family Law related matters from complex matrimonial cases all the way to offering divorce mediation services. Our practice provides clients with representation for all domestic relations matters including contested divorces, custody and visitation cases, child relocation, uncontested divorces, spousal support, separation agreements, prenuptial and post-​nuptial agreements, as well as domestic violence related cases.

Business Owner

Mr. Zimmer was admitted to the New York State Bar in December 2000. While attending law school, he interned for the Department of Probation at the Courthouse in Central Islip, acting as a trial advocate obtaining Orders of Protection for those in need. From 1997 through December 2000, Mr. Zimmer worked in the field of matrimonial law, writing hundreds of successful motions presented before the Court. In May of 2001, Mr. Zimmer founded the Law Firm of Ronald S. Zimmer.

Mr. Zimmer’s area of expertise is focused on matrimonial and family law, including extensive trial practice, as well as Appellate practice. Throughout his career, Mr. Zimmer has worked with VIBS (Victims Information Bureau Service), and the Long Island Women’s Coalition for efforts in protecting the rights of battered and abused women. Mr. Zimmer actively works on modest means panel cases referred by the Suffolk County Bar Association and is also a member of the Suffolk County 18-​b Family Court Panel of Attorneys.
