It’s fine if you have no where else to go. I miss my old studio where the staff actually seemed happy to see me. This staff is unfriendly and uninspiring.

I love every single class I go too. The owners are the nicest people. Although I do have one complaint. The other day I forgot to take off my flip flops by the door and the women behind the counter (she’s not a teacher, she cleans there or something I was told) she snapped her fingers at me to get my attention and said rudely «shoes in the front». Are you kidding me? How rude are you?

I actually love this studio a lot, its clean, it never smells, and its spacious, the classes are great, either 60 to 90 minute classes, the room is really hot which is perfect for me. The way the instructors teach the classes is very clear, if you are struggling with a pose, they will help you and guide you. If you are a new customer, I recommend you to lay your matt on either the second or third row next to the door by the logo. When the room gets too hot, the instructor will open the 2 doors for some fresh air. if you’re a professional Yogi, sit in the first row.
I would give this yoga place more stars but the structures are not too friendly.
However, I come here for the classes, not really to make friends, so yes, please come join yoga flex, and don’t be sensitive if the yoga instructors aren’t too friendly, you will get a good yoga class out of it though!
Also, if youre new, please get the groupon, or you can do their special $ 20 for 10 days!

Staff here seemed very overwhelming. yoga is supposed to calm you and center you — not the opposite. This seems to be more of a place for experienced yogis. It’s interesting because in yoga it’s meant to be for everyone — whether you’re a beginner or advanced. This is the case even for bikram yoga. Also the prices are ridiculously overpriced. It would be nice if they had affordable prices and realize that some of us are college students. but apparently money rather than ethics is more important to this place.

Nice studio! One of the HOTTEST studios I have ever encountered. Lots of classes offered. Many different teachers and different styles of classes which I enjoy.

I like this place! Its clean and nice. Only a couple of times I had a bad customer service experience (just overall being rude/​nasty) But the studio is clean and most of the instructors are helpful and actually assist you in becoming better in your practice. However, it would be nice to see some Groupon deals for existing customers — dont get me wrong the FREE group classes from time to time are fun… but give a little back to your clients who continue to come to the studio. Just a thought.

Staff was very unwelcoming from the second we walked in. Myself as well as my friend I was with had to walk out of the class halfway through because of how sick we began to feel. We were yelled at by one of the employees as well as the instructor as soon as soon as we left the room as to how rude it was for us to walk out, followed by them saying «By just walking out of a room that hot can cause your blood pressure to drop drastically and can cause you to pass out», which was NEVER explained to us. Horrible communication, arrogant clientele, and very unprofessional employees. Come to find out later that night this place has that reputation. The employees need to communicate better with everyone and need to be more concerned with someone walking out, not yelling because of how its «disrespectful».

My friends and I came here to try out their hot yoga class. It was an okay class only because I realized this is not my type of detox or class. Dana was a good instructor however the staff and communication needs improvement. This was our first time taking the class and we didn’t really know what to expect. They just told us not to leave during the class– didn’t give us a reason why as they should have. During the class my friend and i had to leave and as soon as we did Dana and another employee ran to Us and started yelling at us like crazy. I thought to myself, are they really yelling at us? Is this how they gain members? I’m sorry for leaving but I wasn’t aware of the effects of leaving hot yoga because of Poor communication! Some advice to the staff, signing a waiver isn’t enough for the members, if it’s very important not to leave class then emphasis it and try not being so rude

I signed up for the «introductory $ 30 for 10 day» deal. So today, I went to my first Hot Yoga class. I had been a hot yoga «goer» before, at another studio. This was one of the worst and demeaning classes i have ever paid money for. The instructor, Karen, (there are 2 and I’m not sure which one she was) was SO rude to me because I felt faint. She yelled at me in front of the entire class to lay down. So I laid down on my mat, and after 2 minutes, got back up to perform the poses. She comes over to me, gets in my face, and yells «you said you felt faint and now all of the sudden you are continuing to do poses?» I felt as though anything I did was the wrong thing to do. So I continued for about 20 more minutes and took my water and walked out of the actual hot studio. She comes chasing after me screaming PICK ONE, IN OR OUT, PICK ONE AND STICK TO IT. So i said i’m embarrassed at this point, so i will stay out. I wanted to just leave, but she told me i WASN’T ALLOWED to leave the studio until class was over. So i sat on a bench doing nothing. She was so mean and disgraceful I can’t even begin to explain how awful she made me feel. I will never return here, despite its convenience to my house. I never use Unilocal,so trust me when I say… I am taking the time and effort to write this review to forewarn people about her atrocious attitude. either AVOID AT ALL COSTS or GO TO CLASSES SHE DOESN’T TEACH!!!

Yoga flex is a very nice and clean yoga studio. There are always great Groupon specials! So if you haven’t tried Hot Yoga then totally try it out here. For the most part the staff is super nice. Bring your own towels, 2 bottles of ice cold water (trust me you will need it), and a yoga mat. For $ 2.00 you can rent a towel. If you have never done Hot yoga then I recommend you try their $ 20 dollar for a whole week package. Hot yoga is truly not for everyone, I felt like I was going to die the first time. The more I go, the more I like it. Overall love this place! So glad it is so close to home.

Not a huge fan… ive been in a few times to ask questions and/​or have called on the phone, and they are never very friendly. They have good group on offers though… but I can never muster the willpower to go to a place that has zero skill at customer service.

I like hot yoga. I would even say that I like the classes here. BUT, I refuse to go to a place where my money isn’t good after a certain period of time. I purchased a package from them, was really busy and wound up not being able to use a majority of my classes. Then I tried to use them and they expired. What, is my money not good after 3 months? It’s a scam. I even asked to have an extension of my time and they said that I had to purchase more classes to get the ones that I didn’t use. I will take my money where it is appreciated and doesn’t expire.

I decided to try out their introductory special for 20 bucks. My first class was taught by Pam, she explained things to me before I began the class so I knew what I was in for and made me feel very welcome. Going into this i thought it would be a peaceful experience but the classes at this studio are taught in more of a militant manner which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I walked out feeling great and more alive than ever but still was on the fence. Mainly because of the high cost of the classes. I decided to buy more classes and became familiar with each instructors teaching styles. I soon felt the wrath that is Dana. Dana and Karen are the owners and each time I attended their classes I left in complete shock. How could these women be so nasty? Karen especially has a bad attitude. In one class she stated sternly not to modify a posture when an elderly man spoke up and said he had to because he had a bad back. WRONG MOVE! She went ape shit and began YELLING, I’m sure making everyone in the room feel tense and uncomfortable. She completely put him on the spot and degraded him. I felt terrible. If you can attend a class with either Pamela or Kim, definitely go! Kim is by far the best instructor there, she makes sure to know everyones names, plays great music and really knows how to make you feel motivated without being too pushy. The studio is nice and clean, i developed a love of hot yoga because of this place despite the owners terrible attitudes.

The owners here saw my review and called my friend who had introduced me to the studio, whom I had put down as my referral, read my review to him, made him answer for it then asked him to make me take it down.
She shared personal medical information that I had confided in her with him.
Then I log on to Unilocal and read a comment on my original review talking online about how I’m a liar because my online name is different than my actual name (because it’s the internet) and because I’d taken a class there a year or two prior which I’d mentioned to her at the desk on signing up and some weird talking about how she has video of the whole incident…
This place is really not impressing me with their maturity and now I feel vaguely like I was supposed to have been threatened by whatever that video tape comment meant.
I will not be bullied into taking down my review.
and this place should be ashamed of itself for trying.

This place is great! I got a Groupon for 10 classes and plan on signing up for the monthly unlimited pass. Some people may say it’s expensive, but you can’t put a price on your health.

I purchased a Groupon with my friend for 10 hot yoga classes. I’ve done yoga before, but not as a regular activity. Hot yoga was always something I wanted to try and finally took the plunge. The studio is very nice and clean; I trained with Dana and for my first class did thelate night hour and a half session of hot yoga. She really takes an interest in making sure everyone is performing at their best potential and doing things correctly.
The class went by fairly fast and was entirely verbal; she didn’t display any of the moves, but had newcomers watch the more advanced students in the front. I’m returning for my second session tomorrow night and looking forward to the overal experience.
YogaFlex really focuses on the individual and their own detoxing. It’s a great way to clear your head of the negative stress and release all the toxins we put in our bodies on a daily basis. I’d definitely reccommend YogaFlex for anyone who is adventerous and willing to put in hard work for a great outcome.

Finally! A hot yoga studio that is CLEAN and doesn’t smell like a sweatbox! The instructors are great, the studio is beautiful, and the classes aren’t the boring bikram that you’re used to when you think of hot yoga. These classes are more like vanyassa/‘flowing’ classes so it’s non-​stop and the 90 minutes actually fly by. One of the best workouts ever. The prices are steep, but as always, you get what you pay for.

I have tried many different hot yoga places and in my opinion, YogaFlex is a great studio. The temperature is wonderfully HOT just as it should be. I hate when it is not hot enough and don’t feel as if I am completely detoxed afterward. Never a problem here.
The instructors are great! they are knowledgeable and it is obvious that they are trained well. They are always attending trainings in NYC and LA etc and know the Sanskrit terms for the poses. They know the health benefits of each posture and are very motivating and fun.
The studio is clean and has showers. I only wish the locker room area was a little bit bigger and had locks instead of cubbies. But the benefits totally outweigh the little things such as that.
I recommend this studio, I am def a fan!!!

YogaFlex offers a warm and inviting environment. I am so thrilled they opened so close to my house. I also really enjoy the hot Barkan and hot Vinyasa classes. Though my first love is Bikram, I do enjoy the fluidity of these other practices and it is nice to have options to break up my practice. All the instructors I have taken class with so far are masters of their yoga. Very inspiring.
