At time of this review I’m sitting at one stop automotive shop waiting for my 2003 Honda civic that was dropped off on 1÷11÷2013 at 11am. It is now 1÷16÷2013 and my car is still not complete. The work that was requested was an alignment and tire replacement. I was informed the car was complete and ready for pickup. After pickup I drove my car not more than 1 mile when I noticed something terribly wrong. The car was shaking violently and I had to make an emergency stop. What I discovered was horrifying. The passenger side front tire was barley hanging on due to the lug nuts not being tightened. I was able to put on a spare and drive it back to the shop which was now closed. A day later the shop was very apologetic to me and said they bolted the tire back on and was ready to go. I instructed them that the lug posts needed to be replaced due to the stripping of the lose rim. They did so not in a timely fashion, but completed my request. To say the least I’m not happy and the only compensation they were willing to give me was 2 oil changes and 1 tire rotation. I guess that’s all a human life is worth these days, but maybe I’am being dramatic. The inconvenience of this situation was at its highest level that only rivals my previous instance I had at a local muffler shop which I should review after this post. Missing multiple days of work and endangering myself and my fellow motorists my faith in One stop Automotive is pretty low. Only time will tell if the work was completed correctly and will update if needed.
