Ultimate Heating And Cooling

I am sad to say that I am posting this because I am currently having an undesirable experience with Ultimate’s workmanship and professionalism. I called them out the other day to inspect the brand new unit they installed this past fall, because it is never getting my house down to the setting. The technician came on a cooler day and therefore did not observe what I had complained about. The first thing the technician told me was that he does air conditioning not meat lockers. As a customer who paid many thousands of dollars for their work, I was not amused by his unprofessional choice of tone and words. He also told me the unit is not undersized by simply asking me the square footage of my house, which I have learned is unscientific pseudoscience and a sure sign of a dishonest or shoddy HVAC contractor crossing their fingers hoping that they get it right by essentially «eyeballing it». I adjusted the thermo a couple degrees higher as he advised, and now it’s still running all day long, and still never reaching the thermo setting. I am going to get some third party professional opinions and may have to sue Ultimate for installing an undersized unit and failing to follow proper industry protocol in sizing it.
I’m hoping the company will work something out with me, but I’m posting this for now so that other consumers can make an informed decision in their selection of an HVAC contractor.
I will say, the girl on the phone was excellent.

I was in need of a Swamp cooler, After numerous estimates I decided Ultimate Heating was the right choice for me.
In the next few days the cooler was installed quickly.
After spending 5,000 dollars with the company, 2 months later in August my swamp cooler was acting up making loud vibrating noises.
I called and a tech was sent out a few days later, he noticed the drive wheel was stripped out causing it to vibrate loudly.
He took pictures for the manufacturer, saying this was very uncomen, He tightened the drive wheel and said I will be contacted in a few days for a manufacters warranty repair.
A few weeks went by and nothing.
I then called them to see what was going on, still no-​one has any idea.
4 more calls and still nothing happening.
After Nearly 3 months I received a call that the parts were in and we scheduled a appointment.
I had asked for a free winterization since I was unable to complete this due to the repair that was needed.
It was agreed too, when the work was completed and the winterization done I was given a 100.00 bill for winterizing.
I couldn’t believe it, I called the office and no-​one had agreed to this credit.
Spoke to the owner and she said this was not her fault that the unit didn’t function the way it should.
Who’s is it mine the customer that just spent 5,000 for a product that you sell that you don’t stand behind.
After arguing with her as to why it took 3 months to get a warranty repair, completed after calling numerous times she gave me the free winterization not willingly of course.
Why is it you can have excellent customer service before and during your install but after the money is exchanged there is no service.
I Will not be calling on Ultimate Heating and Cooling again, very disapointed on there service.

My AC died about a month ago. Unfortunately it was not repairable (tried that and it didn’t work). I called 3 AC companies to get estimates for repair vs replacement. Ultimate Heating and Cooling was the most professional, took extra time to discuss changing some venting to improve airflow, and thoroughly looked over my existing furnace as well.
The representative didn’t try and talk me into a model that was overpriced, offered suggestions to try and prolong my existing furnace (ended up replacing that as well), and took time to go through my old house to examine all the vents and airflow.
The gentlemen who did the work were fast and efficient — new furnace and AC in one day! All mess was cleaned up and the new system explained. The whole process was seamless. I would highly recommend this company.
