I’m not usually a fan of Cracker Barrel. However, yesterdays visit near the outlet malls was a pleasant surprise. The service was exceptional, shared between two nice waitresses. Each was pleasant and very attentive. The food we ordered(for under $ 10 each) was plentiful, and of a very good quality. Each entrée came with 3 sides, fresh, tasty, and satisfying. Now, this is not gourmet, but for the price, we thought a great meal. Atmosphere is typical, same for the store and merchandise. A quite«rural» crowd — extremely casual dress. Saw bus parking if needed for large groups.

What can I say… it’s exactly what you think a cracker barrel should be like. Good breakfast, average service, hot coffee.

I go to this Cracker Barrel at least once a week. Most of the time it is great and I enjoy the food and service here. I have been to other locations further down the highway and around the state which is not so good so it’s kind of hit and miss.

Very poor service. Will never again go there. It was a group of 8 of us, and our food was free. And should have been, ugh

FOODPOISONING! Went yesterday(8−1−15) to meet my parents for lunch. Was pretty busy but not slammed. Service was very poor, beyond just what is to be expected from being busy. Food was also poor, I was only given two pieces of chicken even though both the picture and description clearly stated it came with three. The worst part is at 2:30 am I get a call from my dad letting me know my mom got food poisoning, has been violently ill since that afternoon, and is now in the hospital by way of ambulance. EATATYOU’REOWNRISK!!!

Was here on a date– meeting someone who lived in SC. *whew* A long way for me for a date. But it was the approximate half-way point. They had some summer special– these campfire meals. I got the Campfire Beef. He got the chicken. The meals consist of chuck roast or a half-chicken seasoned with Cracker Barrel’s Campfire spices, slow-roasted in foil with corn on the cob, red skin potatoes, carrots, chopped onions, and tomato wedges. It looked really great on the menu. Didn’t live up to the picture though. The spice was OK. Some spots had a lot, others little. Some of the meat was pretty fatty. Overall, the dish was just OK. You also get a bread basket, but was cutting back on carbs so didn’t eat any. Ample parking.

I’ve only gone 3 times… The first time the food was cold. I had the waitress reheat it for me and figured that was a one time thing. The second time we went in on Friday night for their Fish Fry. the fish tasted horrible. I have worked in restaurants for many years so I know the taste was from using old oil in their deep fryers.(and it tasted awful, so REALLY old oil). The third time, I know, why try again, but I figured third times a charm. so the third time, we went in for breakfast. not bad taste, but once again the food was cold. so I haven’t gone back and don’t plan to.

Food was pretty good, we had a country fried steak and eggs & bacon. Biscuits were very good. Had to take a star off because service was bad. This was on a Monday around lunch time. Not very crowded, but our drinks were always empty and we had to ask for butter, jelly, ketchup etc that should have been brought with the meal

Very sluggish service today. Had to request bread, vegetables were so cold they seemed«chilled», which was weird. Very small amount of gravy on meat. No catsup brought w/fries. Had to find my own at another table. Kept having empty tea & coffee cups, please may I have some more!!!

My family and I were excited about a long day of shopping, but we were hungrryyyy. We take the exit for Tanger Outlets and somehow we were craving Cracker Barrel once we saw it. We’ve been to many Cracker Barrels before. The food is consistent. The experience is consistent. We love visiting their Country store and having the typical southern breakfast. I ordered The Smokehouse Breakfast. I think it was about $ 6.89 and featured my weakness — biscuits. In addition, it had amazing grits, turkey sausage, and an omelette served beaters-style with less fat/cholesterol. Score! Our server was pretty good. Even when my family had complaints about their coffee/tea you could tell she was genuinely sorry and helped to fix the situation. This is southern hospitality at its finest. After my breakfast hit the spot, I headed to the Country Store and bought moon pies and pecan pie that were on sale that hit the sweet tooth nostalgic spot later on!

The food is great. I love the greens. Our server was awesome. Coffee was hot. The store is cool. You can get books on tape and then return them to other locations. Pretty cool…

The over medium eggs were literally like rubber and at room temp. All sides at room temp. as well. Waffle House does a better job than this.

This is as cookie cutter of a Cracker Barrel you can have. Same layout, same food, same friendly service. Always good, though can be a bit busy given the Tanger Outlets next door. Entrance here is odd. There is a pseudo-service road you must make a right on to go back into the complex and enter from the rear of the building. Thankfully signage is adequate, otherwise it appears you are pulling into the gas station that occupies the street corner lot. Road Trip noms!

The staff at this location were delightful. They were super busy but they made sure people laughed while they waited … or shopped. And of course, the food is solidly consistent, which is exactly what I want when I visit a chain restaurant.

Cracker Barrel serves southern comfort food. We went there yesterday after a tough day of back to school clothes shopping at the Tanger outlets. The food was what we expected… good and fairly priced. Breakfast is served all day. The menu is extensive and the service was good.

Food was great, service was horrible. Management was quick to resolve this problem when they asked about it. Other than our waitress everyone looked like they had great service. I got my check handed to me 5 minutes after my food and never saw my waitress again.

Let me start by saying I am not a fan of Cracker Barrel in general. Having said that, the staff at this one made my day. Our server(and for the life of me, I cannot recall her name. She is from SC and drives in every day to work breakfast –into– lunch) could not answer a question we had about the location of the local post office. Instead of a polite«I’m sorry– can’t help you,» she hunted down another staffer who *could* help us-and did! During our meal, she was friendly, polite, helpful and generally what I look for in a server. Based on this experience alone, I will go back to this location, even though I am only so-so about the food! Look for the blond lady with the South Carolina Accent– she’s the deal!

So who doesn’t love Cracker Barrel right?! This particular time I was there for breakfast before a big day of shopping at the outlets and was a little concerned about being able to eat healthy at a southern food restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised that they did offer healthy alternatives for people watching their diet. Service wasn’t perfect, but was ok. The place including restrooms were clean!

This is your typical Cracker Barrel, serving pretty good comfort food to the interstate weary traveler. Here’s how this location is different from every other Cracker Barrel in the world… They are a little larger than your typical location. And this location in Commerce is pretty busy. You’ll also need to be aware of this little rule we have in Georgia… every blue hair medicare recipient is REQUIRED to eat here while passing through the Peach State. They even have special parking spots for buses filled with seasoned citizens. I would suggest doing a drive-by of this place to see how crowded they are. And have a plan-B dining location in case the senior center is having a night on the town. Otherwise this joint is fine. I thought the quality of the food was a little below the Cracker Barrel in my home town. Yet they get the stuff out of the kitchen pretty quick. We were back on the road lickety split.
