These people will wast your time and have you running in Circles.
They are untrained and uneducated.

Picked up some Behr Wet Look Concrete sealer and had to return it because it turned my stamped concrete milky white. After I found some better stuff I asked the young lady named Lisa working in the paint dept what I could use to strip the cheap stuff off my concrete. She asked me why I wanted to strip it off and after I explained to her what happened she pointed me in the right direction. She then took it upon herself to call Behr and ask them if there was anything they could recommend and even explained to them what had happened to my concrete. She actually seemed concerned about my situation. The rep at Behr explained to me that I needed 24 hours to allow the sealer to cure. Not sure if I want to take that risk so I opted for the sealant stripper. If Home Depot had more employees like Lisa their stock would be through the roof. Actually I was approached by more than one employee who asked me if I needed help so in all this HD ranks above above the rest I have been to in my side of town.

They offered free delivery on my new fridge and laundry set. I received an itemized detailed copy of what I purchased. Their Customer service is excellent, their staff is kind and honest.

Bought 6 new appliances. SIX! You do the math. Was told they would uninstall and install appliances. When the delivery company arrived today they said they don’t uninstall old appliances. Wow. Husband talked to sales person who told us, Mirella, and she denied it. Even the manager called him. We then refused all items and demanded a refund. Done with this. I cannot believe that they would do this to a customer who goes there ALOT and spent $$$$ on new appliances. Horrible customer service and lies. Stick to your word! The delivery people even said that they do this to customers all the time. I’m so disappointed.

I think I just met Home Depot’s owner because the customer service provided by Albert was excellent. His responsiveness is usually only seen from the boss. He helped me come up with a quick fix for a pressing plumbing issue and described it in a simple to follow manner to nonhandy me. Best service I’ve ever received at a Home Depot.

This he best Home Depot I have ever been. They have great customer service and they have everything that we needed for. Fabi at pro desk is awesome, she gave us the best customer service, I was impressed. Great job guys!!!

I came in to make copies of 4 different keys for our company store and offices.
Once I was handed the copies I noticed that they looked nothing like the originals but was assured by whoever made them that they would work.
Came time to try them and not a single one of them worked. Bunch of incompetent idiots who should go back to the unemployment lines.

So happy Dwayne was in to help us. Such a nice young man. We were impressed. Last time we were here we couldn’t get anyone to help us

I as most customers expect and deserve good customer service. So, i am standing at line #4 for about 15 minutes, they had some issues with one customer. Understandable this happens with customers. I get to the register and of course one of my items does not have a SKU, the cashier tells me to walk back and get one with a price. I response that a customer should not have to walk back and get a price. I asked for a manager, after about 10 minutes Jose one of the assistant managers comes over, gets the SKU and apologizes «the cashier is new and was not aware of other options of getting the price, i was out of the door within one minute of his arrival. Thank You Jose.
I have been a customer at this store for the last 8 years, prior to that Whittier. Unfortunately the commerce HD has left me dissapointed many times with their lack of good service and it always takes a manger to resolve an issue.

Let me start by saying that The Home Depot is my store of choice for all my home improvement needs… AND this particular store was my store of choice until recently, I would typically go out of my way and travel farther, but not anymore and here is why:
About a month ago, I stopped by for a few items two primary items were blinds and some light fixtures. Long story short, customer service was sub par… at the blinds, it took about 35 minutes to get help and then it was obvious that I inconvenienced someone to do their job. With the light fixtures, I got help, the guy went above and beyond to ensure that I got the products I was looking for. I thought perhaps an isolated incident, and let it go.
On Saturday August 22^nd at about 9:00pm, I visited the store for some items, I understand that it was late and within an hour of closing, but I wouldn’t be at the store at this time unless it was absolutely necessary. And frankly if customer service declines closer to the stores closing time, it should be advertised.
After finding all the items I needed I approached a friendly face, his name was David, and he was full of energy and was pleasant to talk to. I needed help re-​keying a set of door locks, something I have done at Home Depot many times for rental property and my own. He did what any other person providing exceptional customer service would do and walked me over to the right department and attempted to get me in touch with the employee for the job. The employee didn’t even look my way and told David, «I don’t know how to do that». Hmmmm… ok… David told him to call someone else by name because they knew how, the guy came over, didn’t acknowledge me and said, «I don’t know how»… David was adamant that he’s seen this guy do that. «Call the manager and ask him to do it…» said the second guy with a smirk on his face and handed David the handheld phone device they use at HD. WOW!!! At this point I was floored, these young lazy good-​for-​nothings are pawning off their work on either the manager, or this guy who is older, and obviously attempting to go above and beyond. I took a breath and told myself to be patient. After another debate on the phone he looks at me and says he can’t help me.
I expressed my dissatisfaction with these younger guys and told him in front of them that I would have either reprimanded them or fired them for their behavior if they were my employees, understanding that they were clearly his peers or much worse his supervisors. I left a cart that items estimated at $ 400+, which is what I spent the next day at Lowe’s. And I was disgusted that these lazy employees have a job. David asked me to let it go, but absolutely not, I have an issue with horrible customer service and the lack of attention by our generation of management in not addressing it when they have full control of it.
I hope the advertised manager, Irma Gonzalez, sees this and more importantly recognizes the severity and addresses it, as I’m sure this will eventually have a negative effect on her stores bottom line. Yes I am a business man and someone who is sensitive to best business practices. But the common patron will feel the negative effect and not want to return.
Luckily we have options in this country and plenty of competition… who deserves my business?

Home Depot of Commerce. Thanks for being there for me when my hometown HD let me down. Again.
This store is always hustle and bustle when I go here. I don’t mind that, but I effin hate the way some of these dudes in their work trucks bulldoze their way through the parking lot. Not all of ‘em, but a LOT of them. Otherwise there are creeps lurking everywhere here. Not cool period. Definitely not cool when you got kids in tow, know what I mean?
I don’t know exactly when it started, but customer service at all HDs on the floor went downhill for me. And because I’m a DIYer (well I try to be anyway) and I have a husband who uses tools like a riot, I visit HD often. Similar treatment in customer service here. They were busy, though, so I shouldn’t complain too much.
Because of this location, I probably won’t go here as often as the one in Downey, but…
The return line associate was really nice, quick, and efficient (8÷20÷15).
I bought a MyQ Internet Gateway device ($ 49.97 + sales tax = $ 4.75) at the Downey HD even though an associate there told my husband and me that it would still work since the package had already clearly been opened. NOT SO. I mean the associate couldn’t have known that someone had already set up an account with that particular device… Virtually making it unusable for our household or any other for that matter. Major fail on MyQ’s part…
I explained this very simply to the associate here at Commerce and she helped me out right away. I had already went into the store to see if they had any in stock since according to Downey HD, people «steal [products] all the time» and «what’s in stock online doesn’t match what we really have in our system.» Commerce HD had 2 from what I could see on the shelf. Unlike the Downey HD, Commerce had their MyQ stuff in security boxes. Employees on the floor were visible, yet, busy helping other customers, so I grabbed one and hopped in the return line after telling the lady at the sensors near the exit what my plan was. She obliged.
The woman at the return line said that instead of an exchange, I had to return the original device and she could sell me the new one at her register. Thank goodness because HD always puts their return line on the opposite side of the checkout lines. Total amount of time spent here: approx. 10 minutes.
BOTTOM LINE:
I’d go here again if I have to, but next time I’m fitting it in with my husband’s schedule. ;)

Unilocal challenge 2015 ⁶⁹⁄₁₀₀

This is more for the company than the store but the people working at this location were of no help either. I was trying to buy a new air conditioner. Mine had just gone bad and it’s hot. I checked their website and they had the unit I needed (similar newer version of what I had that would fit right in the same opening). They had it listed twice for 2 different prices. I printed up the page and went to this location. I asked why the difference. They said it was an online promotion to boost their sales numbers for the website. I asked if they did have one in stock and they did but wouldn’t give it to me for that price, however, I could order it online for the cheaper price, wait several days, and they’d deliver it FREE to this same store. So you have 1, but I can’t have that one unless I pay $ 60 more but you’ll take the extra shipping costs and sell it to me for $ 60 less just to boost some sales numbers and make me wait for days while my family goes without AC? If Home Depot EVER says they have any concern about their customers or the environment please have them call me. I’d like to disagree on all fronts.

So, here are my two cents… if you notice as I have. Almost everyone who gave this place a 5 star, are employees.
Anyhow, I often shop here because I need to. I find what I need easy, most of the things are in its place. But I often find that customers like myself, are asked to help with information or advice about a product.
I don’t mind helping, because I know the employees there are useless. Most home depot employees have little to no knowledge of the products, have no idea what I’m talking about and often time just say, «sorry we don’t have it in stock.»
Employees there are just there to get a check and nothing else.
I give this home depot a star because of this reason.

A little upset. I have spent about $ 6,000 in the past 3 weeks remodeling my house. Bought a window for $ 80. It broke taking it out of the car. Came to see if I could return it. They said no. Like it came out of the managers pocket. Cashier said no because the manager doesn’t want to. As much as I’m spending here $ 80 is a drop in the bucket to them.

Maybe store manager Irma Gonzalez should come out here and chew some ass. 6 employees standing around on-​line pick up and only one working. The rest? Goofing off with their buddies

Do your own research before coming here. We’ve tried a couple of different products to help our lawn go from yellow to green, but nothing has been successful. I wanted to know about some «miracle grow» and the attendant said «yeah we should have that». She then proceeded to walk through the aisles and read the labels of the different products. So, instead of her doing exactly what I can do I just told her to disregard my request and I would figure it out on my own.
I understand big name companies like this needs workers to help out the customers, but they aren’t knowledgeable so they really are just there to ring people up. I highly suggest you check out things online before coming here so you can know what it is you are looking for.
The store itself was really nice and well kept.

I’ve spent about $ 100,000 here this place is really helpful I couldn’t have remodeled my home without them thank you guys!

I love Home Depot. The smell of sawdust and ambition warms my heart.
Unfortunately, I’ve never actually purchased anything from this store. Instead, I use their bathrooms. It’s not intentional, but it never fails that when I need to go I’ll be passing this store. Luckily, the exit ramp is easily navigatable. And the parking lot can accommodate larger sized vehicles. The restrooms are always clean and maintained. They’re well stocked, and smell nice. There are multiple stalls. I’ve also never been questioned by any employees.
It may seem odd to review a place solely based on their restroom. But I think something like that says a lot about a place. If they can keep that clean, then just think about the rest of the place.
Maybe next time I’ll actually purchase something.

This Home Depot has been here for years and every time I shop here, I am always greeted by a friendly person. They all seem to know where everything is and it is always clean and nice. Anything you need for the house, they have. Also, you can rent equipment for projects.
I learned something new about this place: get here before 8am and you almost have the whole store to yourself! If you need day labor, there are always men willing to help.

I don’t have to worry about finding anything here, they are so helpful. The Pro desk is the best. All of them are awesome! Especially Keith! Thank you for all the great service
