I when in there on Monday to buy to Philly cheese steak burgers for $ 2.99, but I was overcharged by a dollar because the cashier charge me for the combo. And when I got my burgers that’s all I got was a burger no combo, have the nerve to get attitude with me when question about it the fat Mexican lady. Bad customer service leads to closed business. Over $ 1 really?

I was surprised to find they offer wheat buns for subs. The food here is delicious and it looks clean but it gets 3⁄5 stars for the customer service. The cashier was unfriendly and unwelcoming. Plus, she and the cook spent most of their time gossiping in Spanish which is not the smartest thing to do when your customers speak the language!

Bought a regular sized philly steak II and a small strawberry banana smoothie. the cheesesteak was pretty good. The regular size is about the length of a hotdog bun. No complaints about the sandwich. The smoothie was decent… tastes exactly as the kind you can make at home with vanilla ice cream, ice, and kerns juice. customer service was terrible. the cook yelled for the girl to come out and take my order. I had literally JUST walked in and looked at the menu when the cook said, «What do you want.» I said, «Uh I’m STILL looking at the menu I’ll need a minute.» Finally the girl comes out. Takes my order. No more no less. Not rude, but not personable either. Strangest thing tho, I was given a pager to alert me when my sandwich was done. But I was the ONLY one in there lol I felt silly holding on to the pager when I was sitting right in front of the cook in an empty place hahaha Overall, I’d come here again only if Happy Sweet Bakery, in the same plaza, is closed.

In my humble opinion, this place is a wasre of money, and their prices are too expensive for th product they put out. I hadn’t eaten breakfast and the food was still tasteless. The ‘Special’ which is supposedly a Philly cheesesteak, with fries and a beverage is a waste of money because you barely get a couple of tablespoons of tasteless beef mixed with bell pepper on a smaller bun which is tasteless, fries and a drink for $ 5.99 plus tax. There’s a catch to ordering the supposed ‘Special’. Number 1, it only comes as the so-called Philly cheesesteak — you can’t get any other choice of meat on that Special. 2nd, it’s on a smaller bun than the rest of the sandwhiches, so you are geting less but still paying too much. 3rd, it comes with a beverage, but only soda — you are not allowed the lemonade unless you pay a dollar extra, or the same for the iced tea. Their customer no-service is bad, they didn’t say thank you, and the girl working there acted like her jaw was broken when I asked her if I could use the restroom(after I had just bought the sandwhich from them). I had to ask her twice before she finally answered me. Do yourself a favor by going somewhere with better food, better prices, and where they at least say thank you.

Nice addition to downtown Compton. Food is fresh and the facilities are very clean. Sadly, the staff needs to learn some customer service skills. SMILE, say«hello,» and«thank you.» The business will succeed it you make guest feel welcome(that’s a hint). I will be back and I hope the place just keeps getting better.
