Los Sombreros is amazing. They have the best food in Compton. I love their hard shell tacos and their rice and their horchata. They’re pretty cheap and the workers are always friendly and fast. Seriously you gotta try this food, it’s bomb.

I live in Compton for almost 20 years and just found out about this place through Unilocal.I cannot believe I’ve never came here before. So I got me the Asada Fries and a Asada Burrito for momma bear. Asada Fries are good. My mother says the Burrito is good too, but Salsa is not spicy at all. I need Real Hot Salsa Next time for sure!!! Finally, I’ll definitely come back to try the Wet Burrito.

BESTMEXICANFOOD in Compton! In my opinion it includes L.A. too. I came yesterday and my family and I had their super Nachos(very well served), my mom had the Chile Verde(best ones in her opinion compared to hers) and brother had their regular burrito(best one he’s had in a while). And only paid $ 17. Today was just as good. Ordered their asada fries, enchiladas, and carne asada plate. So far it’s just as delicious only paid $ 26 with drinks. All in all, this place is AMAZING! seems abandoned from the outside but u walk in and immediately feel welcomed

I always get the chilaqulas with green sauce, they’re a little spicy, but I love spicy food. I’ve had chilaqulas from several places, and Los Sombreros has the best chilaqulas. I’m addicted to them, there are times I just crave them. I work nearby so I come by at least once a week. I always get my chilaqulas with carne asada. I’ve recently tried the taco plate, with 3 tacos and beans and rice, I bought myself a plate and a couple worker, and I only spent 13 dollars including a drink for him. The prices are low and the food is great.

This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been too. I payed $ 8 for a wet burrito with a side of guacamole, salad, beans, rice, chips and salsa, and finally a brisk ice tea. I grew up with good Mexican food but I think this was the best Mexican food I’ve ever had

I cant believe ive lived in walking distance of this place for so long and never tried it. This place is amazing and the prices are great. Quick and fresh, consistently good food. One thing I love is you don’t have to pay extra for sour cream and guacamole & what they give is generous. I have yet to try anything that I didnt LOVE. They have breakfast too, traditional american and mexican options. Bomb!

This restaurant has been in business here for 10 plus years. The food is delicious, flavorful and you get generous portions. My favorite go to dishes are the super chicken nachos, and the wet burrito. Any food choice is a good one, these are just my favorites. This business is by no means closed.

This place is really surprising to me. But there food is really good, almost everything I’ve taste has been delicous. The tacos are on hit the cheeseburger and fries are perfectly priced for any family on a budget. THEY Dont Sell ANYTHING Pork. Not that I don’t eat it but. I’m just saying. Enchiladas wet are one of the best item’s. So good… try them in the hood but worth it ! .

I had heard about this spot from a few close friends and relatives, but every time I had try to check them out, they were either closed(very odd that they’re closed on Saturdays and regular closing time is kinda early) or they didn’t take debit cards(cash only!!!). But finally, I had the chance to check them out. I had their carne asada fries, and may I say«uhm, uhm, uhm!!!». It had EVERYTHING on there, just the way I like it. I will definitely go back.

The crispy tacos with carne asada are fantastic and a good value at $ 1.70 each. Get them with everything on them and be sure to ask for their spiciest salsa to put on them — it’s not that spicy, but it’s the perfect match for the tacos!
