I called this place today at 11am & an extremely rude guy answered the phone with just a simple hello, when others usually answer with «thank you for calling … How can I help you?» Then I asked how much they charged for a smog check & he responded in a louder voice «$ 50!» & before I could say anything else, he hung up the phone. I was planning on going to this place today because of its great reviews, but I’m glad I went somewhere else. Maybe this guy was already having a bad day, but I don’t appreciate people taking out their anger on innocent people. So don’t worry, grumpy employee, I won’t be calling ever again

I was here two days ago and guy Kim was very helpful and charged me $ 40 for my 2005 Equinox … I was in and out in less than 20 mins … I’d definitely recommend this place …

Was looking for a smog check for my car, and I found this hidden place called Mac’s smog center along side of the Compton fashion center, the man in there took me in with out a wait, he was soo friendly, and the best of all my car passed the smog-​check. The guy charged me $ 50.00,. Helpful and friendly, what more can I ask for in Compton:)

Kim was great. Courteous and most of all efficient. He had both of my cars in and out in about 20 minutes. $ 50 for my 2002 Hyundai and $ 60 for my 1991 Caprice. I missed it going up Long Beach Blvd. so had to go around and come in the back. It is RIGHT next to the Compton Fashion Center. You have to turn on the next street and go around to the back. There are several bays, Kim’s is the north-​most one.
I know it’s a garage and he did have a table so I could put my purse down on it, but I knocked off one star for uncomfortable seating. (Hey, I can be picky if I want!) I would still highly recommend for service and efficiency!

this place is in the same parking lot of Mac’s auto center & he charges $ 40 for a smog check but he gave me a discount for $ 30, & he’s really quick I think I only waited for 15 mins & that’s only because it was 3 cars infront of me.
