6÷24÷2015 **I was accused of stealing**
«Had just made a $ 91.98 purchase at Food Maxx and $ 64.57 purchase at TJ Maxx. Walked into the ULTA Pinole, CA store #1051 to purchase another eye liner Tuesday morning, 10:11am. Mine was almost out. Was carrying my TJ Maxx purchase. While browsing eye liners considering a different brand, an African American man abruptly walked around the corner of the aisle right past me. Thought was odd and random. Figured was Loss Prevention but wondered why he went by looking at me. The store had just opened.
Brushing off the thought went back to browsing eyeliners. Dropped an eye liner. Bent down to pick it up. May have dropped it twice? While kneeling down saw an eyeliner at the bottom section, grabbed it, checked it out. Deciding on the same eye liner I already had went to counter, made my purchase of $ 5.46 at 10:17am. Walked out to my car. Got in. Started to drive away, the same man ran in front of my car and around to my driver’s side window. Asked what I could do for him. He explains he is LP (figured already) {Never showed me his badge or an ID.} Saw on camera I had taken an item. I was floored. Reached for my eye liner bag to show him receipt. He said „not the one you purchased but the one you took.“ Wait… what? He said he saw (on camera) me crouch down, place an item up my jacket sleeve. Had to chuckle at this point. I was about to drive to work to a highly secured building where we develop banking software systems.
I get out of my car explaining my brothers are long time police officers. I too was once in the process of applying for the police. I used to be Asst. Manager of the Scottsdale, AZ Ulta store.
Took of my jacket „Here, check it.“
He look bewildered, caught off guard.
He said „I don’t want to check it.“
I said „No, I WANT you to check it.“
He did not touch my jacket though I had my arm extended to him. What was the point of accusing me then?
I explained I’m an honest person. Never have I stolen let alone been accused of. He said that’s okay, just needed to check. But he didn’t even check?
Why purchase an eye liner and steal one at the same time? Doesn’t make sense. If I was going to steal one I would have stolen both.

Following this incident, I spoke with the Area Manager for ULTA. I was informed your LP agent wrote in his report I „handed over an (Elle?) eye shadow palette to him in the parking lot.“ The one I „stole.“ He placed the palette on the General Manager’s desk as evidence, created a lie, planted false evidence to save his job. Never was I near eye shadow section in store.

„STUPID STORE! Dumb Ass „lost prevention“ security personnel!!! I was accused of stealing a $ 25 item LMAO!!! First thing out of my mouth was „REALLY“??? First time visiting Ulta and FIRST TIME ever in my entire life that anyone accused me of stealing. I didn’t know if I should laugh or corner him to the point where I can sued the store for harassment and embarrassment.
I went there to buy an eyebrow palette that was on my sister’s bday wish list. They ran out. I was pretty amazed that they carried both department stores products and drug stores products with a salon in the back. Off course I wasn’t shopping for myself so I was determined to find something similar for my sister because I was taking her out to dinner that evening. Unfortunately after looking around I couldn’t find anything so I decided on purchasing a gift card instead. After my purchase, as I walked away from the counter their „lost prevention“ guy approached me and accused me of stealing. My jaw dropped and I couldn’t believe he stop me to question me!!!
All I have to say is horrible customer service and before they go making accusations at any customer they should have legit proof. Certainly they lost me as a customer, I rather give my business to Sephora. They need to properly train their staff.“»

Same LP agent accused all three of us in a within a short period of time. Does he has a quota?
Dishonesty «such acts and statements as lying, theft, making false entries on records and other actions showing a lack of truthfulness and integrity.» This LP agent lacks integrity and character repeatedly incorrectly accusing customers of stealing, filing a false report, planting false evidence is beyond unacceptable! It embarrasses and infuriates an innocent person, the store your company represents (ULTA) is given a bad name as well as your company. I pray he never applies to be a police officer. The LP agent did not have probable cause nor did he follow procedure.
Are these the kind of people you employ at your business?

I had a ride with this co and it sucked
Once you got to a location there wasn’t a place to do your job like we were a bother and actually we were preventing shoplifting for the co WFM Bay Area legal documents that needed to be emailed and faxed oh did I mention text as well lied to me about pay
I would stay away from this co if u r looking for a job…,…, armed or unarmed

I’ve worked part time for Admiral for a couple years now. They’re extremely flexible with my schedule. I work a full time job regularly but work for Admiral when I need extra money. they’ve always worked around my schedule to make it work. The only negative is working long hours on occasion… other than that I would and have recommended this company to friends.

I’m really glad to find this office local in concord. We booked this company a private event, and they had everything put together nicely for us. The price is a little high, but the service was outstanding.

This company was recommended by a friend of mine when I asked him where to get security guards for a family party that I was planning and the rented venue required that we have at least two guards due to the size of the place and the amount of people.
I called, and I was able to get all the information I needed fairly quickly. I thought the prices were reasonable (but again, I don’t really have any experience with hiring security guards), and whole process was pleasant and hassle free.
The guards were professional and very polite to all of our guests. They were on time and didn’t leave until all was good to go.
I would recommend them for any private event that requires security. One thing that I don’t understand however as I’m writing this review, is the other reviews on here from employees. whether good or bad I though Unilocal was for consumer reviews not happy/​ticked off works, and if so … TO ALL MY OLD EMPLOYERS … PREPARE FOR MY WRATH … jk. :-D

If I could give Admiral Security Services zero stars, I would. They have a couple of clowns working at the Whole Foods store on Haight and Stanyan Street, San Francisco. One of these idiots actually packs a gun.
One weekend, I decided to pick up a few grocery items there. I have never shopped there before. A couple of minutes after I entered, this clown who was wearing a badge and uniform started following me around for no apparent reason. It was a warm day, I was not wearing any jacket nor was I carrying any kind of shopping bag. His surveillance of me lasted over 5 minutes and I decided file a complaint with the store manager.
I did not give them the pleasure of my business and left the store. You should avoid this store.

HORRIBLE COMPANY to work for. They treat their employees so unfairly its sad. I know someone who worked for them because they were desperate & between jobs. First the company had them come at 5pm on thanksgiving for Black Friday security. Then they had them wait at the office with no communication as to what was going to happen. They then shipped them in a van to their destination at 8pmleft them their to work 16 hours with no breaks. Then when they get paid they only got paid starting from 8pm. SHAME ON YOU for making these people leave their families early on a holiday to make ends meat & not even pay them for the entire time. They also like to over schedule people so once they commute far to the job site they turn them away because their overstaffed.

I have been employed for the company since 2011. My experience has always been positive and I the main thing that worked for me was how accommodating my supervisor always was. Being a full time student, having schedule flexibility is a big plus. Also, it is important to note that the company has high standards and expects a lot from each employee since we all represent the company. I think it is a very good place to work if you are serious about your job.

As someone looking for temporary work out of college, I went to an open interview this company had in San Francisco in September. The «interview» was pretty quick with questions about guard card (I didn’t have one) and availability (I had open availability) and that I would get a call later on that day.
I got a call from a Cheryl, who told me the «uniform» I will be needing (black pants, shoes, white shirt); however, at the time I didn’t have such a uniform, especially since I thought they would be providing it. I was actually in the library at the time, and I ask Cheryl to repeat what I needed, and she rudely said to the effect, «I already told you what you needed!» I remained professional (since I did need a job) and told her I where I was and could she repeat it; she did and told me when I get my uniform to call her back.
I believe I got my «uniform» the next day, at Goodwill (since I didn’t know what job I was getting into) and called back Cheryl who then told me to call at 3pm a couple of days later. In between that time, I get a call on my voice mail from the Admiral Security office for a position, and each time I call the receptionist forwards me to a voice mail that wasn’t in service; even when I tell him this after calling back, I’m still transferred. So, I don’t get the job.
Days later when I call back Cheryl at 3pm, I get another woman who tells me the event I was going for was going to be rescheduled… and I never hear from these people again.
I actually used my «uniform» to look for better jobs, with reputable or more professional companies. My experience with many security companies is that they can be kinda «ghetto» (i.e. people who usually don’t have high standards in regards to customer service, professionalism, etc.) and Admiral Security is no different. (Not too mention, I’m understanding that getting jobs from Craigslist is something to be very conscientious about).

Update: this is my answer to the comment on my review written by the Admiral Security guy, which i sent to him. I reproduce it here because I find his comment disingenuous.
Are you sure that «officer» was really «a temporary fill in?» Are you sure he was not one of your top shift supervisors? How many temporary fill ins do you use and how often? This seems important since quality screening of these fill ins is obviously nonexistent. Are you honestly claiming that you know who that employee was from my description of a situation happening almost 2 years ago? If so what was the approximate age, height and skin tone of the «officer?»

I wouldn’t even give these so called security guards a «rent-​a-​cop» status. Talk about shady looking… and oh… is that humpty dumpty with a gun I see? No. that’s an Admiral Security Guard
