I dropped off artwork from my son’s toddler class to be laminated and left it there a little over a month due to a crazy schedule and having a newborn. When I went to pick it up(after two phone calls from the office) they said they had thrown it out. They made excuses about my voicemail being full. I have never been so outraged by a lack of customer connection and service. What a disgrace.

I have come to alphagraphics several times and have never had a problem until today. Today I came in 15 minutes before closing time trying to get a label made for a package to be sent out. The employee, Napoleon, told me that he did not have time to make the label as he was about to close the store. He said he would have someone else do it in the morning. I was quite upset and shocked at the customer service I was getting. The employee was too lazy and wanted to get home so refused to make a label or take my order. I hope this employee is taken care of as i am very disappointed and hope he learns some manners, instead of treating his customers with such disrespect.

Alphagraphics accepted a time-sensitive job for an important family occasion: Copy a CD, edit and print graphics I provided, print front and back covers on a single folded sheet of paper, and enclose in standard clear jewel cases. The quote came in significantly higher than promised. When I complained, the quote was reduced, along with the number of copies. Here’s what I got: Defective CDs from a perfect master that Alphagraphics had checked when I brought it in. Cheap, garish-colored half-cases. The«back cover“printed on the reverse of the front cover, so it couldn’t be seen from the outside — and, by the way, used half the amount of paper promised. I complained by phone and was told that they had reduced the price, they couldn’t get the right cases from their supplier, and besides, since time was an issue, «What would you have said?» When I complained by email, I got a contrite response saying they had wanted me to have something so they made compromises without consulting me. They offered me my money back if I returned the CDs– when I was already on a plane to the event. They knew I had no choice at that point. I was embarrassed by the quality and by not knowing how many CDs would actually play properly. If they couldn’t do the job as promised, they should never have accepted it. I would never use this company again, for business or personal jobs.

We are a startup which used AlphaGraphics in Concord for some brochures we needed printing. While their quality was extremely good, their prices were astronomical as compared to other print shops providing similar print quality. For our initial bi-fold brochures the price was reasonable, but we were quoted an illogical price increase when looking to step up to a larger brochure and, although the proofs looked good, their pricing for business cards was also unreasonable. Additionally, this AlphaGraphics was very poor with communication. Our orders were not clearly followed, leading to a need to have some things reprinted, and correspondence speed was sub-par. They also tried to charge us nearly $ 100 for the proofs they made us, when we tried to use them a second time(and decided not to because of price and disorganization). Proofs should never has a cost attached if you don’t decide to use a company because they are exactly that. They are proofs. They are a company proving that their quality is on par with the price. In this case the quality is there but there would need to be gold leaf on everything to justify the price and hassle. They get 2 stars because any time we did finally see a finished product(be it a finally-correct proof or an actual order) it was very nice. They lose a star to price, a star to communication, and a star to business practice being sub-par. You’ll get what you’re looking for, but it will take a while and cost a lot.
