B & D Towing

My roadside provider told me it would take 3 hours to get me and my totaled car, picked up in Oakland. I called B&D and had a call back from Ken in minutes. He was friendly and was there within 40 minutes! Great service with a smile.
Have used B&D for several years and have always been pleased.

I was quoted $ 200 for the tow and $ 100 for the storage. They charged me 550, and wouldn’t do anything about it. Thieves, all of them.

Another great motorcycle tow from B&D. They came late, and quick, with a flatbead, great setup, and a knowledgable driver. These are the best of the best in town.

I give this company 10 stars if I could. I had a blow out on the freeway and called the company my husband told me to call. I was in a unsafe area on the freeway and was told by another company it would be over an hour before they could get to me. They said because of the area I was in they would have to tow me and it was going to cost an additional $ 125.00 to the original quote of $ 95.00.
My husband was out of town so he told me just pay the guy… I felt I was being taken advantage of because I was a lady, so I called BD towing and Robert came to my Rescue. not only did he change my tire right on the spot. He was there in about 20 min. He was vary polite and made me feel safe immediately. When he showed up he parked in a way that protected my car and his safety. This guy was no rookie for sure. Saved me money and even got me to work on time Honest company’s are hard to find these days. Thank you B&D Towing and thank you Robert

My car was stolen and taken to an apartment complex a mile away. B and D sent Tony to come tow my car back to my apartment when the police found it. Tony was really friendly, professional, and made the experience a lot better after a rough day. He went beyond what he was required to do just to make things easier. Thanks Tony, 5 stars!

Got towed from a guy named tony. Great guy, super friendly. Usually tow truck guys are awkward and just don’t interact but he was talking and helped me tow my car! B&D towing is the way to go if you need any type of road side assistance!

I should not give a single star to this towing company but since i cannot write a comment without giving it atleast i give 1. This towing company are really making a good business in our apartment complex. I always see them almost every week towing residents car. Imagine they made $ 97.50 in less than 10mins yesterday!!! I was so annoyed that they towed my car which i parked in the space provided for the residents, the driver said i dont have the residents sticker so they have to tow it. Wth. I told him i can show him the proof that i am resident here (lease contract) but still they tow my car because what they want to see is the sticker. Aside from that it is broad daylight wherein most residents are out or at work and theres a lot of vacant parking spaces in the complex. I will understand if i took someone else spot and then they can tow my car but im using the space provided for the resident. We are not picking up money in the street we are working hard for it so please stop doing this to us. PLEASE BE FAIR!

I promise myself I have to write a review for what happened last night. I live in San Jose and I drove like 1hr away from my home. My car broke down somehow. and steam kept coming out. well I’m a girl and I was super terrified at that time. After the tow car came, the guy called Tony was really helpful. I’m not a good driver, and he even helped me to push my car back to my parking spot. I appreciate it a lot: D thank you for your help tony!

B&D towing is great! We got a flat tire and they said they would be there within 45 min to 2 hours but they didn’t take no more than 20 min! The driver Robert was so nice and helpful! Got us home safe and definitely saved the day!

4÷31÷15: Saw a B&D towing truck roll into the my parking lot for to look for fire lane violations in the late evening earlier this week. Left at a leisurely pace before driving into the neighboring lot for the same thing so I do not feel like he was looking for anyone. Definitely feels predatory :(that side of the business is a bummer.

Slightly annoyed at B&D towing.
My apartment complex has very limited parking and it’s by «permit only.»
I just moved here.
Three times I have come home and found the parking lot full, and two or three cars parked without permits.
Twice I called, explained the situation, and the dispatcher sent a tow truck driver to pick up the cars. I proved that I was a resident by showing my lease and was able to sign off on the tows.
Tonight I come home and once again, find a car parked without a permit. The car is parked in a «PERMIT ONLY» spot.
I call the tow truck company and the dispatcher sends a truck again. This time a different driver calls me and rolls into the complex. I answer the phone and he asks if I called for a tow. I confirm I did. He says «and who are you?» with an attitude, as if to question why I am calling. I told him I’m a resident with a permit who cannot park his car. I meet him outside and have my lease documentation proving my residency handy. He tells me he needs to verify who has authority to tow. He checks with the office and they tell him that residents have the opportunity to tow if someone is parked in their assigned spot. Since this car is parked in a «PERMIT ONLY» spot without a permit, it does not count as an assigned spot. What?!? That makes no f**** sense to me.
This is news to me and I would interpret — and assume the previous tow truck driver would interpret this as well — to mean that if you have a permit in a permit only parking lot, that would COUNT as an assigned spot, especially if the person who you’re asking to get towed does not have a permit at all, in a permit only spot. In other words, I pay to park here and the other person does not. B&D could have made another $ 250.00 and allowed an actual resident to park at their home, but not with this idiot driver.
The driver was completely rude and quite frankly gave the impression that he did not want to get out of his truck on this cold night. I asked him how it could make sense that a car without a permit can park in a permit only spot and he just put the truck in reverse and sarcastically said «sorry, can’t help ya!» and took off.
It makes absolutely zero sense to me and was a complete shocker because — as I’ve said — other neighbors have called tow trucks, as have I, and they are more than happy to remove non-​permitted cars. I can’t believe I’m actually pissed at a tow truck company for NOT towing a car. Shouldn’t I be giving a one star review and pissed off tone on Unilocal for ACTUALLY towing a car?
This driver not only needs customer service training but an attitude adjustment.
I’m so pissed for all the wrong reasons!

Great Tow Company!!!
My insurance company sent 2 other tow trucks before B&D and they didn’t even have the right equipment to tow my car.
Tony from B&D came out was knowledge and very professional had all the right equipment and got my BMW towed safely to the shop. I wouldn’t recommend using any other tow companies in concord. B&D is the best!

Systematic Theft
This company is scum. They towed our vehicle 2 miles and billed out $ 150+. Then they waited 8 days before informing us that they had our vehicle and were billing charging us $ 55 a day. We could have parked it at the airport and it would have cost us less. Liars and Thieves, Systematic Theft, Condoned by our local Government, whom must be in on all their ill-​gotten plunder with tasty kickbacks.

I ran the battery out of my new Tesla on a cold and rainy night just outside Orinda. Tesla recommended B&D and Gino their best driver came to my rescue. He drove me to my house and maneuvered his flat bed to position my car unto my car port — two cars were parked on each side of my driveway.

A tired brain does not function well. It’s 07:15 on a Thursday morning. 13 hour graveyard shift completed, I drag my semi-​conscious self to my vehicle, hoping for a commute home with minimal jackassery; the only other thoughts (aside from a new career) being a rum n’ coke, Netflix, and my cat hair covered bed. Only one minor thing is keeping me from my «night» cap and binge watching Hawaii 5 – 0. Yup. For the first time in my life, my $*#^^#*$*@* keys have been locked inside.
Now any other time, a torrential downpour of expletive deletives would have gushed from my profane and unladylike (so I hear) mouth, but being too worn out for anger, the car wizard authorities are contacted and a minute after «End call,» the phone rings. It’s B&D. «We’re like 3 minutes away, I’m sending a driver out now.» At that moment, the only thing more Heavenly to me would’ve been Samuel Barber’s Agnus Dei, and maybe some waffles.
Most of us have grown all too accustomed to disappointment; some more than others. Now I’m not one to get my hopes up, but to the delight of my flickering soul, true to the word, within mere moments he was there. Rockstar, savior, Superhero in reflective trousers. *Darin. His truck appears as a beacon of hope on this overcast morning and I am uplifted.
With the speed, drive, and efficiency of a goblin on a rage potion, *Darin has my keys back in my weary hands. He does not know how grateful I am for his work. I want to give him a tip or gift as thanks, but I don’t carry cash and the only (socially appropriate) thing I have to give is a gift card. He politely declines but mentions that if I gave him a Unilocal review, that his boss would compensate him. Now I didn’t ask exactly what that entailed, but I was more than happy to fulfill that simple request.

My boyfriend locked the keys in our car while at work so I called my insurance company & they sent Tony with B&D Towing. Once he arrived, he had our keys out within 5 minutes. He was excellent & I know my boyfriend was happy to get out of there so quickly! Thank you Tony!

On my way to work, I got a flat tire. I called my insurance and was told that someone will be coming in 45 mins. Luckily I just waited for 25 mins. Tony was the one who helped me change my flat tire with my spare. He was friendly and efficient with his job. I recommend this towing service.

I was very fortunate that my Auto Insurance contacted B&D Towing in Concord. My experience with this company was great. Arrival to my location was 20 mins earlier than the target time-​frame — Wow! My driver, Sean, was very nice, helpful, and very professional. I highly recommend this Tow Company.

These guys are awesome! I own a towing company in northern Ca one of my trucks broke down in Berkeley they were there quickly and extremely professional, very considerate of the situation! I highly recommend them for all your towing needs!
