This review has been a long time coming. I absolutely LOOOOVE their preschool program! I put my kids in both the 3 yr old and 4 yr old programs, and now they are doing so well in elementary because of the foundation they received here. It is definitely play based, but they do academics in a fun way that grasps the children’s attention. They learn to write their name, the alphabet and their numbers, do tons of art crafts, and engage in singing songs and dancing. Sometimes they have holiday parties, pajama and movie days, and «water» days. They even take field trips to Buchanan airport, the fire station, the library, and the dentist.
I had both my children in Miss Melissa’s 4 yr old class. I can honestly say that Miss Melissa and Miss Sharon are the best teachers I have come across! They are fun yet know how to set the children straight. They also recognize each child’s personality and give them the individual attention they need. They brought out my daughter’s sweet personality and they were able to tame my son’s wild nature. I love the fact they keep the parents updated after each class, and if you have a concern about your child, they always set aside time to talk to you. It is because of Miss Melissa and Miss Sharon that my children love school and are excelling academically. They are bright, well-​adjusted, and social. Both my children loved them!
I HIGHLY recommend this preschool. You will definitely not regret it. Miss Melissa and Miss Sharon are amazing teachers!

Now that my son is in Kindergarten, I have to say how incredibly happy I am with the preparation he received at Baldwin Park. In my recent parent-​teacher conference, my son was spot-​on for all Kindergarten milestones, even outpacing many of them, and I know that it was all due to the great foundational education and love of learning instilled in him during his two years of preschool in Concord. The Kindergarten teacher also praised his attention and focus in class, which I attribute not only to his mellow attitude, but also to the kind exposure he had to classroom rules and etiquette in both Miss KimLien and Miss Gina’s classes. Such a great value, definitely check out the program!
