Concord Kia Mitsubishi

I will never purchase another car from them again! They initially seem like a good place to go but they soon become very pushy when looking to purchase a car. I trusted their prices when purchasing a brand new 2015 Kia Optima but they did a great job overpricing it. I was fresh out of college with great credit and they took advantage of my situation by convincing me to pay more than the car was even worth. All and all, lesson learned on doing my research prior to making a purchase. Thankfully this was my first big purchase and now I have a much better understanding of how to make deals with people and to not trust a salesman’s word.
I have since tried to talk to KIA Concord about how wrong it was to take advantage of ones situation and encouraged them to be fair while making sales. I understand that they must make their sales but it is very important to treat people right while doing so. Since talking to them after my purchase they treat me terribly as if I didn’t give them a great amount of money for an overpriced car. If you are going to spend money on a car I would suggest to give it to people who appreciate their customers (not just during the purchasing stage).
Shortly after purchasing I inquired about the best way to get out of this car situation. A salesmen suggested for me to pay down my loan and come back in 2 years. Almost two years later I came back to them and they said that, «there is nothing we can do for you since your vehicle has almost 30,000 miles.»
I take responsibility for being fresh out of college and naïve to purchasing a car. I wrote this review not to bash because I’m sure that not every worker there is bad I just would caution you when making your purchases there. I understand that I played my role in getting in this bad situation but I would hope that there are people out there in the business with good character and not just in it for the money.

Trying to get a Lancer told the Internet sales manager what my current situation, how much down and monthly payment I’m comfortable paying with. He asked me to come and pick a new car I want Then I drove the car that night. There was some issue and ive been told to find a cosigner to get approved.
John was very helpful during my visit so I’ll give HIM 3 stars for job well done.
I’ll just want to say that potential buyers should be treated well regardless of their credit scores and excellent customer service will definitely get my business.

I sent letters to several Kia dealers asking for a quote on a very specific model and color. I got a quote on the Rio from Winn Kia in Dublin. They were extremely helpful and gave me a great price. When Concord Kia called me, I told them I had a quote from Dublin that I liked very much and I was going to buy that car. She wanted to know the price quoted and I told her I didn’t think that was ethical. I did tell her that the Dublin quote was lower than the price she (Concord) quoted and that they were giving me $ 1000 more for my trade-​in than Concord was offering. It took some time to get her to accept this and get off the phone. Still, she phoned me again and was pushing more. But the worst thing is, she knew that the only car in Northern California that filled my needs was at her lot and she threatened not to let Dublin get it from them for me! I said, «please don’t do that!» She said she wouldn’t really go that far. Well, guess what… they refused to let Dublin have the car, so now I have to wait 2 weeks to get my new car. Sure, a «First World» problem, but what a terrible agency to buck tradition and withhold this car just out of spite. I want nothing to do with this agency or with any of the people that work for such unethical and vicious people. Plus, pushy, pushy.

I’m sure not everyone who works here is a scammer, but the person I worked with, her name starts with an R (I forgot her name) is an absolute terrible person. She knew I had no idea what I was doing and talked me into purchasing a $ 13k with a 26% Interest rate. I get it, its a sales job, but that’s bull sh**. AVOID GOING HERE. FIND A DEALERSHIP WHERE THE SALES PERSON RESPECTS YOU. !!!

Would not get a used car from these guys, Even under 52 000 miles. Tires do not hold air. fluids were not changed. Oil is the blackest I have ever seen. Rear brakes are now metal to metal. Check engine light on after 1500 miles. So much for Certified used ha ha.
So sale’s guy said they changed the front brake pads, wind shield, and oil.
still do not trust they changed the oil. While not changing any other fluids or filters.
So how do you check these things without removing them, and if you did why would you put them back in??? So i guess certified pre-​owned ferry does not exist, i haven’t felt so let down since my parents told me Santa Clause and the easter bunny didn’t exist when i was 6.

This review is mainly for the service manager/​representative Megan McCabe (I think that’s how it’s spelt). She is amazing. Very sweet and honest women. Helped me with everything I needed and answered all my questions and concerns I had about my car.
My transmission was starting to go out and they replaced the whole thing under my warranty in about 3 days. When the customer service is good than it makes your experience a whole lot more enjoyable. Everyone is very welcoming there and makes sure your needs with your car gets fulfilled.

Had a great experience. Ended up purchasing a Soul EV. The employees are friendly and the sales staff know their products. I was already introduced to the service department staff and I will write a review after my first FREE service. :)

Very disappointing customer service. It’s used to be better. They didn’t honored the $ 10 coupon which was sent in from Mitsubishi dealer which clearly says can be applied in maintenance. I will not coming back to this dealership. I would rather go one in Oakland. They have The best service. Terrible service lady I asked help for.

Don’t trust what the dealer promises you when they want to sell you!
I leased a Kia from Concord Kia/​Mitsubishi on December 2012. At that time my family and I were thinking about getting another car a couple months later. When we mentioned that to the sales person, he​told us that they will waive the disposition fee for the first car which is $ 400 if we get another car from Kia Company soon. That seem like a good deal to us and we came back a couple months later to get a specific Kia that we wanted. The salesperson said that they don’t have that model and we can check other dealerships. As we really needed the car, we went to Dublin Kia and they had that model and they gave us a good deal and we leased the second car. After three years that is time to return our first car, the sales people and the managers changed in Concord office and don’t have any records about the sales person who promised us to waive the disposition fee. Chauk, one of the sales managers told us that he will take a look at our records and help us to find a solution as everyone is new hired and he doesnt know who was here three years ago. He never called us and whenever we left him a message, he never called us back. After two months of waiting, we asked another person at that office to help us. This time after two weeks of explaining the situation all over again and follow­ups, she says that they cannot waive the fee because we bought the second one from Dublin not Concord location! First of all, Concord Kia didnt have that model and the salesperson didnt tell us that they can find it for us soon. secondly, Kia is a company which has different dealerships at different cities which are related. They have the same policies and they benefit each other. This is like opening a bank account at one branch and not being able to do transactions in another branch!!! Now the concord dealership is telling us that we should get the waiver from Dublin Kia which sold us the second car. This has been so frustrating and so overwhelming for the whole family.
We are so disappointed with this company. They broke their promise and we are stuck with $ 800 disposition fee for two cars that we were promised the first one would be waived. Never trust them.

Forced to go to this third rate greasy Kia dealership as it’s the only one in my area. My appointment was at 9:30am, I was told it would take 3 – 4 hours for my 90,000 mile which consists of inspection checks and fluid changes. For the mere price of nearly $ 600 and if I wanted my spark plugs changed an additional $ 375. So I said just the service no plugs. Rip off but I need my trans fluid changed as it’s locked by manufacturer, no choice. After an hour and a half, my car hasn’t moved an inch! WTF. Talk to the front desk. «You’ve had my car for an hour and a half, you know I’m in your waiting room and my car hasn’t moved?» Service guy — «What was your name?, oh I gave your paperwork to the mechanic were about to pull it in. Um no. There is no one walking in to grab my keys to pull it in. «Just give me my keys.» Service Guy — «You’re leaving?» «You want to reschedule for tomorrow?» Me — haha Are you f’n kidding me? Service guy — we had multiple customers in front of you. Me — What is the purpose of my 9:30am appointment time then? Note — I never cursed at him, this is my anger after the fact while reliving the incompetences of this place. Never again. Avoid this place like the plague. Horrible service, horrible prices. I will drive 50 miles further just to avoid this dealership.
Oh also if you car is lowered at all. It is impossible not to scrape hard leaving their parking lot. You literally have to get past this /​\. This place is a joke!

Called in trying to lease a lancer evolution!
A «sales manager» answered the call but for some reason couldn’t work out a lease number for me. I had to be there in person for him to do anything.
Asked him for his name he wouldn’t give it to me. And then hung up on me.
I don’t think a business should be ran that way!

I recently leased a Kia Soul EV from this dealership and had a great experience here. The sales person Sam Lubicich was great to work with, not pushy at all and very helpful in getting all of my questions answered. Since I was getting something very new to me technology-​wise, I had a ton of questions and they were very patient with all of my questions.
They didn’t have the car that I wanted when I first went into the dealship so Sam kept me informed as new cars came in and let me know when the color combo I wanted arrived there. They really didn’t give me the «hard-​sell» that one typically expects from a car dealership, and that was really appreciated since I don’t do that in my business.
End result was that I got the car I wanted, the lease terms that worked for me and had a great experience. Several of my clients have given me good feedback about the car, it’s really nicely finished, both inside and out, I’m really happy with it. Not having to buy gas every couple of days is nice, too.

Went to see the Labor Day Sales and left with a brand new Optima. Justin, Chris and Roxanna did an exceptional job. It’s nice to walk into a dealership and be treated with respect, it was also nice that a couple of employees remember us and the previous purchase of a car we made eight years ago, it really makes you feel special! While signing our finance papers I realized I get to bring my car there for service too, which leads me to another great group of guys who work there … Kevin and Rick! although I heard Rick just retired (congratulations) I know I will be taking well care of at the service department…

This place is absolutely amazing. I came in with a rather complicated situation, fully expecting them not to be able to help. But they took the time, and did some serious work to get everything figured out.
Everyone on the team is fabulous, and the customer service is A+. I will, and do recommend them to anyone looking for a new car!

I am giving these guys five stars. After a week going to different car dealers including MAZDA CONCORD and HYUNDAI Concord and being absolutely disappointed with Their customer service I came up with KIA Concord.
MAZDA Concord run my credit report in order to give me a price for financing, they came up with an unbelievable rate, I guess they thought I am a foreign person here in USA and they could rip me off, I denied to make a deal with them and walked out, after a day I contact MAZDA Concord in order to get a copy of my Credit Report they never replied to my email and my txt messages so it was such a bad experience in Mazda concord.
The Hyundai Concord almost did the same thing and they never gave me any concrete price and forcing me to run my credit report agin and again.
I tried to email the KIA Concord and talk to their sales manager to see they may give an approximate price, they did what I asked for, they definitely creat a positive immersion on me as a result I walked there and tried to explain my financial budget, they listened carefully and helped me in order to get what I was looking for.
I do recommend them to any one who want to buy a car stress free.

Love… love…love…my Kia and the people at Concord Kia. Chuck Carbis, the GM and the entire team, including Kevin in Service, the financing and the sales staff were excellent. The customer service, the quality of the car and the reliability of Kia will keep me coming back and referring my friends. Thank you Concord Kia!

I leased a Kia Soul EV from Dublin Kia. I was told I was allowed to charge my vehicle at any KIA location. For the first time I was in need of a charge with 6 miles left and found this Kia. First of all they had two charging stations outside with the power off. In addition they parked two non electric vehicles in the stalls with dealer plates making them mom accessible. I met with the service department and asked if I could charge my vehicle there. He suggested I find another charging station nearby. It seemed like he was about to let me use their fast charging station until he asked if I had a Green charging card which I did not. Without this card I was not allowed to charge my KIA at a KIA dealership. This is pathetic service and horrible service. I know Nissan dealerships allow any cars to charge there. I’m very disappointed and will not trust KIA in the future.

I make an appointment every time for a car service and the guy tells me it’s going to be 2 – 3 hours for an oil change every time I come because he has to call the Maintenance company to see what they approve. If I come here every other month my information should be on file and should have to take 2 – 3 hours for a simple oil change. It is so frustrating just because I didn’t buy the maintenance package at the dealer they want to make my life difficult every time I come in here. This should not be the process every time. And from reading the other reviews I’m not the only one who has issues with this service department

Customer service here is horrible! I was ready to spend over a thousand dollars here for a tune up, timing belt, water pump, and oil change, but decided to take my business to another Mitsubishi dealership instead.
First of all, I called several times at different times of the day, but my phone call messages and emails were never returned. I’m huge on customer service and communication with clients who are ready to spend money. I finally came in to get my questions answered and Megan, who used to work as a cashier there, is running the service counter now. She didn’t know anything about my Outlander.
Regardless, I made an appointment online with a request to have my questions answered prior to me coming in. Did I ever get a call or email back? No. Never. Did I keep my appointment? No, nor will I ever be taking me vehicle there for service.
