Outstanding company to work with. Scott patiently answered all of my questions about an asbestos abatement project at my home. Scott and his crew exceeded my expectations for my project. A kitchen and two bathrooms were gutted to the studs. I don’t know how the crew did it, but this was the most meticulous and cleanest demolition project I have ever seen. The crew were incredibly hard workers who put tremendous pride and care into their work. I now have a beautiful fresh and safe canvas to begin building upon. In addition to the quality of work performed, all of my calls and emails were answered promptly, and Scott and his crew kept every appointment and scheduled date with me and showed up right on time. The job was completed as promised, and I couldn’t be happier.

These guys were not the lowest bid we received for the removal of asbestos linoleum in our kitchen, nor were they were also not the most expensive. But we felt like with these guys we’d get a higher level of service, and indeed that was true. We were out of town for the demo/​work, but Scott call to give us regular updates, and we returned home to a totally cleaned up area — not a speck of debris or tape left on the walls. You can judge a company not only but their work but also the response when things go wrong. I am a real estate agent and needed asbestos tiles removed from a property I was prepping. I had to wait a month for an appointment and when the day came there was a mishap. The work «completed» and testing started when I came to check but then it became clear they had left a small area of tiles. I called Dan and he immediately addressed the problem. The work was completed same day and test done from the start. Asbestos free and happy.

A call connected me with Scott Eisen and we set up an appointment for a few days later. Scott’s manner was professional, friendly and informative. He checked all of my heating vents, confirming that only two were involved. He provided a prompt and very reasonable written quote for removal, but also explained and demonstrated another method for dealing with the problem that made his company’s services unnecessary. While he was more than willing to take on the project, I very much appreciated his willingness to provide a much less expensive method of dealing with the problem.

Obtained a few quotes for the removal of asbestos-​containing popcorn ceiling in my living room, hallway, and master bedroom and Eisen’s quote came right in the middle. Decided to go with them based upon positive reviews and never regretted it. Scott Eisen came out to survey and provide an estimate and was professional, punctual, and a pleasure to communicate with throughout the process, patiently fielding about a dozen emails from me. On the day that the job started, a small squadron of workers showed up (Scott even arrived early to make sure that everything started off well) and like a very well-​oiled machine efficiently got to work. We were very happy with the work at the end — minimal damage to existing walls and only a couple of tiny sections in the corners of the ceilings had any residual material. Afterwards, Scott helped us to determine that contractor we had originally planned on hiring to do minor repair work and painting was charging exhorbitantly for his services so we ended up going with another option.

We had linoleum removed from the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room.
Scott was great in setting up our appointment. We had to work around another contractor so we had to change our start date a couple of times. Scott was very helpful in working around our schedule.
Workers were very helpful in insuring everything was OK with us before the end of the day. Toilet and machine (washer & ice maker) water reconnections were made and tested for leaks.
Job done on time, workers cleaned up after themselves, and at a competitive price. I would use them again.

I wanted to remove the popcorn ceiling in my newly purchased condo before starting the remodel process. There was asbestos so after looking online i found that Eisen environmental had a lot of great review. I decided to go with them after getting a consultation with Scott. He was friendly and knowledgeable and guided me through the process every step of the way. He and his staff finished the job quickly and did things the right way. Overall, I had an excellent experience with Eisen Environmental. After learning that we had asbestos within the many layers of our kitchen floor linoleum, we contacted Eisen team for the safe removal of the floors.
They promptly came over, gave us a reasonable quote, and we were able to schedule a time for them to do the work. The work crew was professional, courteous, and worked around us as much as possible. They were efficient, prompt and were able to do the job in the time they said.

These guys really live up to their reputation. From my first interaction with Dan to the end of job, it was a great process. Contacted them via their website, got a prompt reply… Asked if they could come out to see my townhouse… Dan showed up EARLY to the appointment. got a competitive quote the next day. Even though they were quite busy, I asked if they could fit us in, and they were able to work with us on a date. On agreed upon start date, again they showed up early and started work. Took them two days to remove all the heavily painted acoustic ceiling. finished on time, and left our place very clean. Bottom line: they were very easy to work with, able to work with me on schedule and price, take pride in their work and care that the client is satisfied. I’d definitely hire them again for other jobs and highly recommend them!

I called Eisen Environmental, because of their Unilocal reviews, to remove asbestos-​wrapped ducts. They weren’t the lowest quoted contractor (although competitive), but Eric seemed to really know what he was doing. The health of my family was not something I wanted to risk on the cheapest paid folks if there was any doubt to their competence.
Eric and his crew were extremely thoughtful, accommodating, and very professional. They were prompt, efficient, set up sealed containment, and left everything in neat and tidy shape when complete. I had some specific needs and timelines and Eric bent over backwards to accommodate our needs and make things happen. It was also evident during the process that Eric was looking out for the safety of my family as well as the other trades doing work on the house at the time. In the end, I realized what a great deal it was to work with them.

I bought an older home built in 1956 that had old duct work under the house with small amount of asbestos in the tape. I called Eisen based on their five star rating on Unilocal.
Scott came to my house, showed up on time, was professional and polite. Scott was helpful in explaining the process of removing the old duct work. The workers were quick and left my house with no mess.

I called several asbestos contractors for a quote, only Scott got in the attic and look at the staff himself. The other guys (no name mentioned, you will know as soon as you see them) just walked around the house and threw out quotes. Scott also inform there might be more asbestos in the old registers, but we did not know how many are there (and we had no time to check all of them). So we list them as optional in the quote with a unit price. The other guys just said «you don’t need to do the registers».
On the project day Scott personally checked ALL registers in the house and showed me what we are looking at. We found 5 old registers with asbestos! With that many found, Scott just cut the unit price in half without me even asking. The final price is still on par with the other guys.
The crew built containment at each register when they took them out. Asbestos was bagged and taken out. They cleaned up the area afterwards and kept the register openings taped so that no dust will fall through until my HVAC crew start their job.
There is a few spots with small paint peeled by the tape but I really have no complaint. I think they did their best already and this is really hard to totally avoid as long as you use the tape on paint to seal the area. A very small price you paid to keep your family safe!
I would absolutely recommend Eisen for any asbestos removal job. I am so glad I stick with my choice when my HVAC contractor have their «often» used partners.
I hope I don’t ever need to do this again, but if I do, I will definitely call Scott.

Dan and his brother run a fantastic small business. Dan was able to come out to get my esimate for asbestos removal in NO time. And, even though we did not know we would need asbestos removal until nearly the last minute, Dan was able to get his crew in and remove the asbestos tiling we needed in time for our move in date.
