This place is discussing! We made reservations 3 months in advance. When we arrived the man at the counter was rude he said our room was ready but when we went to the room it was still dirty! We went to tell him and said it would be 15 minutes so the can clean the room. We left and started looking for another room.

For a budget hotel it’s okay. There was a party with local kids here one of the nights we used this hotel but to be honest, there wasn’t loud music or obvious drug use and the most noise they made came from them talking to one another as they pulled up or left. They weren’t all over the parking lot or disruptive and you will get local kids at any budget motel so we considered ourselves lucky. The hotel is old but everything worked and they had decent TV stations. It’s a great location and our go to hotel for friends and family after the Microtel disaster! I was hesitant to use a place with open hallways and doors but this place was safe and didn’t scare me between walking from the car to the door.

The one star is due to the excellent manager: hard-working, friendly, prompt, and accommodating. It is budget friendly. The pool looked clean. Everything else is a zero. The property is delapitated. I understand you can’t always help that, but the housekeeping is nonexistent. It would’ve been OK if the housekeeping staff stepped up to the plate and did their job. Just see the attached pictures and you’ll see what I mean.

Its no Hilton but its comfortable the window is cracked they used packing tape to fix it? the fridges seal is busted and that AC unit runs loudly and constantly. Im on the backside there is a train and a fairly busy road but not noticeable enough to complain about. My biggest complaint is that AC unit it will drive you mad. Turns off just to kick itself right back on and loudly you can barely hear the T.V. bc of it.

This hotel is perfect for the budget traveler. What it lacks in luxury and freshness is more than made up for by its convenient location right off the interstate at Exit 58. Shopping at Carolina Mall is ½ mile away, and Concord Mills is 10 miles south. The Lowe’s Motor Speedway is also 10 miles south. If you’re doing business in Charlotte(30 minutes to Uptown, 45 minutes to SouthPark), the location is a bit awkward, but for leisure or long distance travel through the area, this is not an issue. Unlike most hotels in its price range, it features a decent free breakfast in an attractive dining room, an outdoor pool, an exercise room and even a banquet room. The only gripes I had were the stale air and burnt out light bulb in my guest room, neither of which was a deal breaker.
