This review is based on the fact that this business has no problem putting their patrons security at risk. I’ve dined here a few times and every visit i use my credit card to pay. Every time i get the merchant and customer receipts i notice that my credit card number is printed out in plain view on the merchant receipt. I bring this issue up every visit and their response has been the same. «Oh sorry, the boss is not here. I will tell him later. The settings on our machine must be wrong.» Well, they either don’t have a boss, don’t mention it to the boss, or don’t care. Because I’ve seen nothing change in the 4 years I’ve been bringing this up. In this day and age of identity and credit fraud, this establishment shouldn’t be making this their standard of practice. So, next time you dine here and use your credit card check to see if your credit card number is blocked out of the merchant receipt.

We usually come here for dim sum. This I the best dim sum place in concord. We just came for dinner tonight. We ordered a live fish and some other dishes. They are well prepared with authentic recipe. Everyone is very happy with all the dishes!

The place itself is a little run-​down, but the food is good. It’s a combination of grabbing dim sum off the cart + ordering off a menu that no one gives you.

Under new ownership, this place is good for dim sum! If you don’t see something you want, just ask, and they will make it hot & fresh. The new owner Lily, is so nice and always asks if everything was good… and the answer is ALWAYS yes! Its convenient, affordable, tasty, and we visit often. I would recommend.

If you are a seafood lover, you should not miss this restaurant in Concord! Authentic Cantonese style food and very friendly service is all you will get there. Personally, I love the scallion and ginger sautéed lobster noodle, and steamed clam with glass noodles. You can tell the seafood is very fresh from first bite. The restaurant also serves dim sum at very reasonable price. We loved the chicken feet so much that we had two orders. Steamed pork rib is our favourite as well. If you bring kids to dim sum, definitely do not miss the egg tart! Highly recommend!

Beware!
This place prints your whole credit/​debit card number on the receipt they keep. There is no reason to do this and i’ve addressed this with them to no avail.
I’ve had recent fraud activity on my credit cards. Not blaming them, but it certainly doesn’t make me feel good.

What an incredible experience! Very delicious dim sum and excellent service! I recommend a side order of their salted fish chicken fried rice to go with their large variety of dim sum.

Haters gonna hate and I think this place is victim to that. So underrated!!! Our usual dim sum spot is in Oakland Chinatown but I can spare myself the crowds and parking by just popping over here. The baos are on point and the shrimp noodles… omg.
Service is pretty good too. Not too crowded or crazy like some dim sum spots and the carts make the rounds pretty frequently. Will definitely come back!

The one star is for the dim sum because they were fresh and delicious. The place is filthy. The table clothes on all the tables are stained and they just layer paper place mats on top so they can continue to reuse the table cloth. To me that says cheap and makes me wonder what else they are cutting corners on. Me and my boyfriend only ordered a few things because we were unsure of the portions. We ordered 4 orders of dim sum with 4 pieces per order and then an order of spring rolls. We were both starving and those few pieces were like a snack. After waiting 20 for the first round of food we were willing to wait again and order another round. But instead the waiter cleared our dishes and brought the bill. WE WEREN’T DONE! WE WERE STILL HUNGRY! Instead of trying to explain to these people that I wanted more food I just took my business to Five Guys were the service was better.

So I’m walking along willow pass with the thought of eating my packed lunch of asperagus and salmon, until I saw dim sum. I just couldn’t help it.
A cart with juicy dumpling delight passed mr right when I was seated and I couldn’t resist! If you don’t see what you want you can ask and they’ll get it.
Not the best but decent when in the area.

I’m from Hayward, where any which way off 880 will drop you off at GOOD dim sum. Moving out to the concord area has been rough on my har gow and sticky rice in a lotus leaf! cravings.
Imperial now offers a good amount of dim sum choices, which they didn’t have to because they are the only dim sum place for what seems like a thousand miles. They have a menu that has names, sizes (which translates into a price), and pictures so you can see what everything looks like! I thought this to be helpful.
The service is a little better for what you expect at a Chinese restaurant. I once found a hair in my food and I was a bit apprehensive to tell them because I figured they’d argue with me or something. NOPE! The food runner brought out a new one from her cart and apologized. Shocking, so I savored that moment.
Tips to the owner:
–The tea is weak. If you’re gunna charge per person, please make the tea strong as it goes hand in hand with dim sum.
–The ladies that push the dim sum carts try too hard to push items onto me, to the point where I’m getting annoyed from being bothered so much.
–One cart has random, mainly fried, items that no one orders. If you pick an item, IT WILL be cold. I ordered the BBQ pork in a sweet bun. The lady went to said cart, and grabbed the last one. My boyfriend ate one before I got to it and it was COLD. He didn’t say anything to me, if I knew it was cold I would have immediately sent it back, because I’m not paying for cold food.
–As much as people like it, I think terminating the carts, or limiting to which carts are pushed around would be a better idea. I’d rather check mark items I want and have them make it fresh in the back so it comes out hot. Not pick off a cart that has had the same food on it since morning.
–The steamed Shanghai dumplings did not come on a silver holder. So it needs to be eaten with caution so all that good stuff doesn’t fall everywhere.
–I do believe prices are about $ 0.50-$ 1.00 too high for some items.
I can’t give them too much of a hard time. They do what they can, being so packed all the time, so things are bound to go array.
I hope the owner does more to improve the place, because he/​she really really has an advantage.

I’m so glad that service was good. The male server was very attentive and nice. He asked if we needed any more dim sum and he went to get it for us. Very happy about that because sometimes going to some restaurants, the servers are not friendly.
Their dim sum is still good but still not enough selection.
I’m so disappointed that they raised their prices for all of their dim sum. I don’t know when they did that. So sad. Wished they didn’t. Most likely my family and I won’t eat here that much because of the new prices.

If you need something, you have to hound the servers down. Once you get their attention, they will tend to you immediately. Don’t be afraid to yell at them if they don’t see you :)
Bathroom… don’t go in there unless you have to ultimately use it…

Love this place. Near by my house, this is the best dim sum place.
Food are good, service are good and price are very fair. I eat here almost every week!

Best, freshest dim sum you can find in the Concord/​Pittsburg area. No such thing exists in Antioch/​Brentwood so this place is a treat! Downfall, it’s pricier than other dim sum houses I’ve been to in more competitive areas, like Chinatown in Oakland or SF. My absolute favorite dishes are the shrimp hargow, steamed Gailan, & shrimp noodle crêpe. Went there on Sunday for lunch with the fam & it was fairly crowded but service was fast & we were seated within 15 min of waiting. One thing, there’s only 1 steamed cart lady walking around, and with a hungry belly I was trying not to unleash the HANGRY beast, who is quite impatient when her favorite dumplings keep passing by & serving everyone else); …lol. I’d come back though, no doubt. Def like em more when they’re less busy. Service is still friendly, Peter was so good to us!

Got a chance to check out Imperial Seafood Restaurant on a Saturday. My first impression when we went in was that nobody was there to greet us or tell us that we needed to sign our names in ourselves. Good thing I figured it out when I saw a notepad and pen with other names and how many in their party. So maybe a sign would’ve been helpful.
The interior, like someone else had mentioned is way out of date, so hopefully they’ll do something about that. Especially the sticky carpeted floors.
Our table ended up being in the corner so it was kind of hard to scope out what they were serving throughout. I had to get up out of my seat to see what was on the carts that were coming around. The food was good, especially considering there are not very many dim sum places nearby. I’d give 3.5 stars, but ok, 4 it is. I think I’ll come back when the crave is on.

The best restaurant I’ve ever tried in and around SF! What we ordered reminding me the flavor of home. Dim sum is traditional and well-​tasted indeed, especially the crispy durian cake (which I think is good enough as well for people who might don’t like the taste of durian itself, lol)
Lobster spaghetti there is amazing as well! Not totally cooked in Italian style which is somewhat creamy but with Chinese flavor, such a creative fusion, I love it so much!
Spent a great time there with my family, Strongly recommend!!! :)))

Well… The new owner/​menu has potential. I found out tonight that the staff has been running the place blind and on their own for 6 months, that might explain the bad service. (I’ve been avoiding this place since the change of owner) we were happy to see one of our favorite waiter is still there.
We had the crab puffs which was a miss, but I think they may fix the recipe.
Fried calamari. Yummy
Stuffed Eggplant w/​bbq sauce was cooked to perfection and the sauce had the right balance, no too sweet. A
Pork belly Clay Pot. Very good
Steam egg w/​clams. Good.
With a little work this could be a great place. They are on the right track. I also heard that the new owner is putting some money into the place I see some improvements already, new chairs, uncluttered a bit too.

The restaurant was completely empty during dinner time and not a single employee was up front to greet me at the entrance. It took for another customer to walk in and «holler» for help.
I ordered about 3 – 4 dishes to-​go but it was still a 45min wait. On the bright side, it was good to know that my food was made fresh. They had a variety of dim sum. I had the shrimp balls ($ 4.50÷3) and egg custard bun which were all tasty.
My rating is mainly towards the customer service and the product quality. Seeing how they treated the following customer was neglecting and not polite. My main concern was the Honey Walnut shrimp dish that I ordered. Like most restaurants and the advertised photo on the menu, I expected my $ 8.50 HWS order to be an entrée portion. The product I received was a small container of 8 pieces of shrimp and a teaspoon of walnuts. I’m not sure if this was a joke or not, so unless they are charging $ 1/​shrimp, I wouldn’t have ordered it at this rate. Below is the photo of my unsatisfying HWS.
