Can’t put into words how happy I am that I chose Jeremy to do the tile backsplash work in my kitchen. I called several contractors to get estimates and most gave me the impression that I was inconveniencing them by calling them. Jeremy was professional from the beginning. He was punctual for our first appointment and up front about beginning. We scheduled a time to have the work done, I had an issue with the tile company not having the tiles as promised (a whole different story), I called Jeremy and he completely understood and configured his schedule to accommodate me. He gave his opinion and suggestions on what would look best but never made me feel I had to it his way, I appreciated his opinion and input. The finished product exceeded my expectations, it looks amazing. It’s obvious that Jeremy takes pride in his work and goes above and beyond to deliver fantastic customer service. I would highly recommend Jeremy and am planning on using him in the future when we redo our bathrooms.

Without reservation, I am happy to recommend Jeremy for any tile work. We got sucked into a complicated design for our master bath by a ditzy designer who had great ideas but didn’t understand the materials nor the installation. Jeremy took it all in stride and worked hard to make sure we were happy with the results. And the results are stunning!

Jeremy is a true professional, skilled tile craftsmen, and can be trusted in your home. Jeremy built my master bathroom with a new custom sized shower pan and flooring. Thank you Jeremy for tiling the floors in our dinning room and living room! It’s absolutely beautiful. Jeremy had laid our kitchen floor a few years ago, and now he’s tiled our living room floor and soon, he’ll reface our fireplace. We appreciate his experience and expertise which has been demonstrated repeatedly at various phases of our many projects. For example, my husband and I agonized over what materials to use in our living room /​dining room area, the pattern of the tile, whether to have a border, the color of the grout, etc. Jeremy would kindly guide us back to an uncomplicated and sophisticated look by explaining elements of design and style that matched our home, neighborhood, and budget. Even now after the floor is complete, we drove ourselves crazy trying to figure out what to do with the fireplace, which was a last minute choice and is no easy task. We wondered whether to use a whole cut stone, or to tile, or to use a wood frame, etc.; each idea having its pros and cons. We went to all kinds of stores collecting numerous samples and questioned our choices night after night. This has gone on for weeks now. Once we had triumphantly narrowed down our choices to about four different stones, we proudly shared our findings with Jeremy. He looked it over, made a funny face, then announced that «uba tuba» was what we needed. Well, that was not one of our displayed samples, nor was it one that we had come across in our search. We compliantly went to the store the following weekend and were blown away by how perfect uba tuba was for our fireplace and how well it matched the new floor tile. What was even better was the price and the availability of the tile. This sort of thing continues happening as we continue to work with Jeremy. We look on the Internet and read magazines and keep trying to complicate the process with varying colors, patterns, and designs. Jeremy definitely knows what he’s doing and like any kind of home improvement, it pays to listen to the experts. That was certainly the case with my remodel. If Jeremy hadn’t saved me from myself, I’d have a pretty funky looking living room right now. Thanks again Jeremy! I’m saving up for the bathroom now!

The worst contractor experience I have ever had. The job involved tiling a bathroom shower, floor and backsplash. He started with the shower (12“x12″ tile) where I specified 1/​16″ grout joints and provided dimensions for three soap/​bottle niches. We ended up with grout joints that range from 0″ to 1/​8″. Some tiles actually touch and then spread out within one tile length. When I asked him why he didn’t use spacers to produce a consistent uniform joint, his reply was that they do not make 1/​16″ spacers. False. Trust was lost at this point.
When I questioned his methods and expressed my disappointment with the quality of his work, he did not offer a reasonable explanation. He only said «when it is all grouted you won’t notice any flaws or variance in grout joints». False again. At this point, we decided to fire Jeremy before any more sub par work could be done. All trust and confidence was destroyed.
Additionally, the wall niches are significantly smaller than what we specified because he did not calculate properly when building them. As a result, we were forced to change the tile pattern in the middle of his work. The niche shelves are sloped so severely that wet soap/​bottles may slide off. Two of the niches are not even square. All of these mistakes need to be corrected.
Two veteran tile contractors evaluated the tile installation and both of them instantly recognized that spacers were not used. They also pointed out the niche errors. If we had the time and the money we would rip it all out and start over with a true professional who takes pride in his work and is willing to meet client specifications and expectations.

This guy knows his stuff. I hired another who came into my home and totally made a mess. Jeremy has fixed the mess and tiled my floor… it is beautiful. His workmanship speaks volumes. He is polite and professional. Good job!

Jeremy just did an extensive bathroom tile project for me, and I highly recommend him. He’s everything good everyone else has said about him, below; honest, hard working, skilled, engaging, tidy, customer oriented, good prices, and holds himself to a high professional standard. Although 5 stars is «as good as it gets», to be honest, a couple of little things didn’t come out quite «perfect», This was a difficult project, with difficult small glass tile, and 36″ long floor tile that would have been hard for any tile installer to do perfectly, so I don’t want to sound unreasonable. For any standard or difficult traditional hot mop shower install and/​or tile install or repair project I’m sure Jeremy can do an excellent job for you. If its super complex, or involves more exotic tile applications you may want to discuss with Jeremy if he’s confident he can execute every detail of the project, and/​or get contractor referrals from your tile shop.

This review is a little late since we are still so busy moving. Jeremy did an awesome job re-​doing our fireplace area after the house we moved into had the most horrible tile installed and needed some updates. He was prompt and efficient and also didn’t mind changing out a piece when I wanted to place a different tile. overall great person to work with.

If you’re looking for a professional contractor to remodel your home. Jeremy Emery is the person to call. We had replaced our family room, kitchen, and laundry room to marble tiles. Jeremy tiled our rooms with 18×18 marble tiles in diagonal patterns. He made a beautiful medallion in the center of the room. He did an amazing job. If you’re looking for someone who is reliable, courteous, reasonable cost, clean and quality work. We highly recommend Jeremy Emery Tile.
