I specialize in modifying and repairing cabinetry and furniture. Modifying your cabinets is recycling your cabinets — good for your pocketbook and good for the environment. With the growing trend toward larger HD TV’s, larger refrigerators and changing kitchen appliances, I can alter or modify most cabinetry to fit your new needs, achieving that upgrade while still utilizing your existing cabinetry. Building cabinets for over 25 years, I can offer the expertise to make these transformations «seem like it was always that way» and can make most cabinet repairs. Paul Kephart is a skilled craftsman who is careful and creative. We have a 6 ft, carved sculpture that needed a special mounting. Paul came to see the artwork, the room and took measurements. Exactly when he promised, he returned with a beautiful base that was skillfully built. Paul mounted the base seamlessly to the wall, matching all decorative molding perfectly. Getting the sculpture on the base required two strong men! Then Paul anchored it to the wall safely. He created the perfect solution for our unusual display challenge.
In years past, he has helped us with more ordinary cabinet problems. I would trust him with any woodwork in the house. This guy is a master!

My wife and I needed to have a rather large cabinet modified in order in to accommodate a new TV. I found Paul and his company through and ad in a local newspaper, went on line to see some of the Unilocal Reviews and quickly hired Paul to do the work. Paul definitely rates 5 Stars as he did a superb job and did not break the bank in the process. What I especially like about Paul is that he is a very nice person to work with who is quite responsive.

This is the second time Paul has done work in my home. It had been a while so I was happy to know he was still in business. This time Paul did a major cabinet front remodel and repaired drawers that were not working properly. He is a perfectionist; I am thrilled with the changes he made. Paul designed, built and installed a wood mantle around my existing brick fireplace. It transformed a modest fireplace in to one that is beautiful, and is now the centerpiece of the living room. I found Paul’s cost to be very fair compared to other woodworkers, and his work is meticulous and beautiful.

Paul is a real craftsman, an artisan if you will. Paul has done two major cabinet jobs for us. The first one was reconfiguring a Kitchen cabinet that use to hold two separated ovens into an integrated double oven built in cabinet. That was an excellent work. The second one was doing a major reconfiguring of our Family room built-​in cabinet to create the space for a Flat Screen TV and sound system. This time his work was also exceptional. He is extremely creative and very flexible at the moment of finding solutions that suits your necessities. He is also very neat working and puntual both with his appointments and his work schedule. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and gladly will work with him again.

Paul exceeded my expectations in every way! I recently hired him to do an extensive reconfiguration of my existing kitchen cabinets. I don’t think he typically does kitchens, but I did my best to persuade him. The changes were prompted by the purchase of a new refrigerator that didn’t fit into the old opening. One thing lead to another… removal of built-​in double ovens & cooktop and replacing them with a new free-​standing Dacor range + more. Paul provided recommendations on how the space could be utilitzed better and went about making it all happen on schedule and on budget.
He’s a true craftsman at his trade evidenced by the quality of the finished product. The other trades commented about his attention to detail which speaks volumes in my book.
Kephart Cabinetry & Trim was a pleasure to work with & I’d highly recommend him to clients & friends. By the way, he’s the kind of contractor I felt comfortable with having at my home while I was at work.
