Horrible ! Found hair in my food twice ! Very disappointed first got there a had to kill a cricket on the dining table and then when the food came there was hair in the food. They gave me another plate and didn’t charge me but yet another hair, found in the food ! Get it together on your hygiene

I’ve been going to this place for a while and never had any kind of problem. This place is ran by a husband and wife. Both are always serving with a smile. The Phở soup is great. The phở usually comes in less than five minutes, even when the place is packing with Filipinos. This is by far the best phở place in this area.

Meh. It’s kind of hard to mess up phở, so if you’re coming here for that, you’ll pretty much get what you expect.
Not a fan of the half-​restaurant, half-​food court feel of the joint because it always leaves me unsure of where or how to order no matter how many times I go. You pretty much find your own seat, wait for somebody to come up to you to give you a menu and order. You eat, then walk to the cash register to pay for your meal. The taste is pretty okay. The prices are decent. Seriously, you just can’t eff up phở. I just dislike the location and parking.

If you want some delicious Thai tea with pearl, this is the place to be. Never disappointed each time I get one.

Stopped by here from San Jose to visit my aunt who is currently in the hospital. My little brother and I were amazed at how different the prices were. (It’s a couple dollars more in San Jose for a regular size of phở)
We got seated right away, pretty average customer service considering they know very little English. We got our food fairly fast also.
The phở tasted average but considering we were starving, oh man it was good! Overall I would come back just because I love Vietnamese food

Phở was very good. It is tucked inside Seafood City. I ordered my phở but had to wait 3 min to get spoon, napkins and condiments. I asked the guy who was working there but he didn’t speak any English. I thought that was weird.
The woman finally saw me getting up and bringing stuff from another table and brought me a spoon and napkins. It was 7pm on Mon and nobody was there so maybe she was busy closing down.
The food was good but the service could be better.

Everything was nasty at this place. Plus I found a cockaroach in my food .
We ordered the fish cake (xtra hard) didn’t eat it, phó it was meh, and pork chop not that flavorful.
I asked the lady for a discount %50 off for the cockaroach in my food and extra crusty hard ol fish cake but she just smiled and didn’t say anything. I told her I’m not paying full price and showed the guy the cockaroach so they did give me a discount .
Not coming back here ever!!!

Just what I want in phở. Hot flavorful broth, fresh ingredients and quick service. I love coming here for lunch when I am working in the area. Parking is decent but it can get crowded on weekends.

This place is located inside the Seafood City Market in Concord, CA. My husband and I went there for a late lunch. I had the beef stew noodle soup and he has the seafood noodle soup. Both dishes were very good … and the price is pretty fair.

Gross!!! It’s our first time to eat here but we’re so disappointed! There’s a long strand of noodle like rope inside their spring roll!

This place has terrible customer service. The lady who works the cash register is also the waitress. Do not expect her to help you once you place your order. Service with a smile? No way.
As for the food, the phở is incredibly average. The wings are pretty good though.

This place was recommended by my boyfriend’s parents. Tucked inside of Seafood City, a small Vietnamese family served us. I smelled the broth as soon as I within the restaurant. Service was fast and efficient.
I tried the broth before I added in chili, hoison, etc. & it sure was good. It definitely satisfied my phở craving. The broth did not have too much salt and tasted very flavorful. I actually enjoyed half my bowl with the original broth it came in. But because I love spicy food, I added some chili, hoison, and chili oil. I thought the chili oil gave more flavor to it. I drank a lot of soup, which I never do when I eat out for phở. But it was good.
We also ordered egg rolls. It was hot, crispy, and fresh. I just wish they gave more lettuce so I could wrap the egg rolls in it.
I will come back when I am in NorCal!

This place is really better than what other Unilocalers are saying. We are here often eventhough we live in Dublin. The Phở’ is very tasty and reasonable in price. You won’t find Phở’ in Dublin or Pleasanton less than $ 6.00 a bowl. It’s definitely worth the drive here. The service is pretty friendly and We love all their pearl drinks… very flavorful and not watered down. I also recommend their rice plates and vermicelli plates.
They are friendly, fast, & cheap! What more can you ask for?

The phở was so good! Def one of the best phở places I went to in NorCal! The broth was good and authentic; if u don’t like it then you don’t know true Vietnamese phở. Yea the service was okay, but food was great! Def coming back here !
Not sure if the other dishes are good but the phở is worth to go back to !

Vietnamese is never a bad choice! I love vermicceli with any meat combination and fish sauce. The spring and vietnamese rolls were pretty good but it lacked quality meat. The vermicceli with bbq pork was very tasty with fresh produce. Definitely more than a normal person can devour. Place needs a better atmosphere, looks unclean almost. As far as pricing you end up spending about $ 15 per person. I would eat there again even if it is not on my favorite’s list.

I have to say, I’ve been to a LOT of vietnamese spots that serve rice plates, but this boneless pork over rice has got to be the best one I’ve had EVER. Not too salty, just the right amount of sauce, and just the right amount of rice! I will be coming back here!

I drove from Walnut Creek, got here 30 minutes before they we’re suppose to close. THEY TOLD ME TO COME BACK TOMORROW !!! 30 minutes before closing they were counting money already trying to go home !!! NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN !!!

I know for a fact that I will be coming here from now on. Didn’t have to wait to be seated or have a long wait for my prefer to be served to me.
I ordered my usual grilled pork rice plate with fish cake. Everything was cooked perfect.

Growing up around this area in the mid 90s, there was only one Vietnamese restaurant located in Concord. On weekends, my family would have to drive to Oakland or San Jose to go grocery shopping or get our fix of Vietnamese food.
Today, the Concord/​Pleasant Hill/​Martinez/​Walnut Creek has seen an uptick in Vietnamese residents and the small businesses and restaurants have followed suit. For what it is, this place is decent. Compared to what phở actually should be, this place falls short, but given that it’s among only a handful of Vietnamese restaurants in the area, it passes.
The owners are pleasant and friendly. The prices are cheap. The food is decent — my only criticism would be of their broth, which I found to be flavorless, and at times tasted a bit odd to me.
I hear Saigon Bistro on Willow Pass Rd. is the place to go for Vietnamese food, but if you’re in a hurry, this place will do.

This is one of the many Phở Lee Hoa Phat’s around the bay area. I’ve been to a couple, including the one nearby on Contra Costa Blvd. They’ve always been consistently good so when I’m in the mood for phở they are where I usually go to. This location, to me, is kinda… random. Aside from the Subway, it’s the only non-​Filipino establishment at this shopping center (Seafood City). It’s not like it’s a bad thing – a person might not be in the mood for some Filipino fried chicken or Chinese. I sure wasn’t when I was there.
You can find it off to the side next to the Chow King. It actually pretty small, but somehow they managed to add a lot of tables in there. I was quickly seated by a lady whom I knew worked at the phở place on Contra Costa. I noticed that it was only her and another person working while I was there. It wasn’t that busy (only two other people were eating there when I arrived) so service didn’t take long. I ended up getting the #20 (combination phở) and a hot Vietnamese coffee.
The soup was good, but it didn’t have that fried garlicy flavor I liked from the other locations. The Vietnamese coffee was oh so strong, which I needed since I had to study for finals.
Some cons were the service. While they were nice, one of the waitresses was on her phone the entire time. Um, what? I know business was slow, but you shouldn’t constantly have your phone next to your ear. No wonder she got my check wrong (charged me $ 18 while it was supposed to be around $ 10). She was nice about the mix up though and apologized profusely when I pointed it out, so I decided to let it slide. There’s also a wall divider in the middle of restaurant which makes it hard for you to get any attention if you need any.
Overall, this is a decent little phở place. The soup is good, and while the service could be better, I would recommend it if you’re hungry after shopping and you don’t feel like having any Filipino food.
