Quick Learning School prepares you to pass your insurance licensing exam by offering the CA state required 52hr training classes in Life & Health Agent, 52hr Property & Casualty Broker/​Agent, 32hr Personal Lines Broker/​Agent, and/​or 32hr Accident & Health agent.

We specialize in live classroom training and offering exam preparation courses for students who are struggling to pass the exam. Online training is available as well.

History

Established in 1983.

Established over two decades ago as a family-​run business, Quick Learning School has become the San Francisco Bay Area’s school of choice for exceptional training in the areas of Insurance Prelicensing, Real Estate, and Securities Exam Prep. We specialize in live classroom training to help prepare students to pass their insurance, real estate, and/​or securities exam the first time!

Irma R., chief executive operator and director at Quick Learning School of Concord for the past 17 years, has transitioned from trainer, to business owner, to entrepreneur. She has grown her business from one location to three locations around the Bay Area. She has done training in numerous leadership development programs to grow her business. She employs what she learns through her experience and personal growth programs in her business and within just one year, grew her business an astonishing 46%. Her current studies and teaching strategies go beyond the conventional classroom methods. She utilizes her extensive training, combined with her adept intuition to guide students through more than just what they need to know to «pass an exam» but also what they should know to maneuver through life.

Has a group of wonderful instructors and will definitely help you understand concepts as well as passing the test. I passed both of my property&casualty and my life, accident&health exam in one try. They even give you real life scenarios which makes the class more interesting.

NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!
I went to Quick learning school in January. One of the teachers was all over the place and was a little lost. Then we had our second teacher who was good but only taught us 10 questions to remember. Then when it came to the night prep it was horrible. The teacher didn’t give us answer to the questions. When I spoke with Erma about the teacher not helping our class out with the answers she said she isn’t supposed to teach you that way. I have been calling for the last 3 weeks to find prep. They haven’t helped at all. Also Erma taught the code and ethic’s and the first thing she said was I don’t ever teach this so bare with me because I don’t remember this stuff. Then the other teacher with code and ethics said how much Erma didn’t like teaching code and ethics.

Lauren is great! He makes learning fun. I took the week long Property and Casualty Pre-​Licensing class last week and I passed my Exam today. WOO HOO. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because when you sign up… you have to call a couple times to get confirmations of class times and what not. But the facility is nice.

Quick Learning School offers professional, relevant training for your insurance licensing. You can attend convenient classroom instruction (which I highly recommend), or online, or both… should you be so inclined!
Based on my experience with QLS, here is what I found:
— specific job related curriculum which prepares the student for the CA State Insurance Licensing exam
— top-​notch instructors
Driving 25 miles to and from every day during Hwy 4’s peak commute was no easy feat. 25 miles somehow turned into an hour to and an hour and ½ from.
But…
It was well worth it.
Thank you. I am finally ready to venture out into the exciting field of insurance!
I’ll be seeing you again when I’m ready for my Life Agent license.

I took the Fire & Casualty class with Quick Learning School back in 2007. Passed my exam the very first time. Went back to QLS again in April this year and took the Life agent class. Also passed my exam the very first time. Part of it is because I am smart (LOL), but I do have to give credit to the instructor Lauren Myers. His sense of humor, his knowledge in insurance, his fun teaching skill, made this boring 40 hours class very interesting. The office staff (I think his name is Michael) is nice and helpful, and the office manager Jessica is a total sweetheart. If I ever have to take any other professional licensing class again, I would definitely go back to QLS again!!!

I have taken both the «life» and «fire/​casualty» courses with Lauren Myers. I’m so happy I got him as an instructor for both classes.
He makes a VERY dry subject, moist and delicious!
His jokes, quick wit, and character impressions are terrible-​y funny.
His spot on Hank Hill impression still leaves me with the phrase «propane and propane accessories» stuck in my head. LOVE IT ! Thanks Lauren — So happy I got stuck with you for a teacher :-)

School is never fun. And I’m sorry, but I have to say it … insurance is dry and potentially boring reading. The good news is Lauren Myers made the class fun! I passed my Life Agent exam the first time and went in with complete confidence thanks to QLS.

CHEERS to Quick Learning School! I PASSED MY FIRST TIME!!!
If you don’t really WANT your license, don’t bother. You have to put in the effort to pass this test, it’s TOUGH and Lauren does a great job explaining terms and definitions and also, STUDY TIPS… you have to STUDY STUDY STUDY!
Both the teachers we had were positive and motivating. They allow you to participate and ask questions which is the whole reason why I took this course over online.
I recommend this course over online. Coming from the people that took the exam with me, they didn’t have much luck!

Enjoying school here and learning so much. Lauren is the teacher and does a great job on helping yopu retain it and keeping you awake. I take my test nex week hopefully I pass they did there part now.
Only complain I had was I bought flash cards one night and tried to returned them unused the next morning because I didn’t understand them. They wouldn’t refund them. I wished they would have told me when I bought them. Because I wouldn’t have bought them. There reason was people make copy’s. I was upset because I was never told and they still had my uncashed check. To me they were calling me a liar and not trust worthy. Come on we are trying to be professionals not crooks. $ 25. for flash cards. Ruined my day.
