We have this company has preferred vendor for our company and everytime we call they are courteous and always make sure the tenant is taken care and when we need something from them they are quick to send it over… technicians are courteous and explain what the actual problem…

Roto Rooter came on time, did a great unplugging job and suggested a couple of other things that needed to be fixed with my two toilets. Great service, quick and friendly technician who did some things to help me avoid trouble down the road. I will definitely use them again.

I had a backed up pipe from the downspout to the street highlighted by the recent heavy rains. I call Roto Rooter at about 4:30 PM. Helpful guy took my info and said a tech would be out between 5 and 7 PM the same day. SAME DAY. Jesus showed about 5:45 pm, just over an hour after my call. That is quick.
He tackled the problem pipe several ways but no luck. He indicated probably broken just feet from the street. He said his company could fix it but better is I went with a landscaper, probably much cheaper. No surprise there.
I then had him check out all other drain pipes and found one more clogged which he was able to get to flow freely.
Jesus was done in an hour which I paid by check and he left with a Ben Franklin in his pocket. I enjoyed working with him, his professionalism, and feeling like it was a very collaborative team effort!

Jude from Roto Rooter came out today and provided quality service and work with experience, awesome! He snaked out my perimeter yard drain that was backing up 5 other drains in the loop and flooding the yard. He still had time in the 1 hour minimum charge and ask if he could clear out some roof drains that were backed up and over flowing. Thank goodness Jude did because he ended up snaking a line which was full of roots and debris and ran 40 feet under the driveway into the street. It has poured all day and tonight, I can sleep peacefully knowing my house and yard won’t flood and look like an Island. Both drains in the front of our home are draining well. Thanks again!!!

These guys try and rip you off. We had a backed up shower so the line needed to be snaked. The guy that showed up said they only do things the «right» way and that would require digging up our front yard and removing a tree to find the line out to the street and to install a clean-​out outside. My husband told him we only wanted the line «cleared» from under the house or via the toilet and we would make the corrections to prevent this in the future at a later date. Any normal homeowner may not have known there was a work-​around instead of paying BIG BUCKS when it was not necessary. We sent them away. This company only has making money in mind. IF he had just cleared our problem, we may have considered calling them back for the big job later but now they lost a customer. Don’t call them. You will regret it.

Over charged $ 50. I started stopwatch when tech arrived and stopped it after he put equipment away. (Based on suggestions I saw on Unilocal). He was here 59 minutes 22 seconds. Charged me for 1−¼ hours and argued about when he arrived (2:45) and then said he thought it was «3 something» They are padding every hour for an extra $ 50. Unethical. Can’t leave zero stars so giving one star

Roto Rooter: Had a leak near the meter, they were here within a half hour, fixed in 90 minutes. Thanks George you did a great job.

0 stars if I could! Made an appointment online at around 2:30 pm. Finally received a call an hour and a half later to confirm at 4:00 pm. Waited 3 and a half hours after that and still no plumber! Called and was told i was next but it could be 1 minute or 30 minutes (probably later) before anyone would be available. That would be at 8:00 pm for those of you keeping track. I didn’t even get a call after the 3 hour window had expired to be told they were running behind. Thanks for wasting my time and my ENTIRE day waiting around. Will never be using (or attempting to use) this company again.

HORRIBLE SERVICE… I called at about 530pm because my water heater was leaking and I was told that they would have a person out at my house between 7pm and 9pm. At 9pm I called to see if they were still coming out since I had heard NOTHING. The person who answered the phone (Dawn) cut me off and said that the guy was on his way. At 930pm I called back and Dawn answered again. I told her I wanted to cancel and she told me that the guy was less than a mile away (how convenient). Anyways when I told her that I still wanted to cancel she stated in a very, very snotty attitude that canceling was my prerogative and hung up on me. This is the worst customer service I have ever gotten! I will be taking my business elsewhere. With so many people in the plumbing business it is not necessary to put up with bad customer service.

Well, my dog discovered that the plastic pop-​up line lid was off, and so she began feasting on the sewer debris backing up from the main line in our front bushes. I made an overnight online appointment with Roto-​Rooter, and they had Abraham out here around 9 am snaking and clearing out the clogged sewer line for about 65 feet from house to street. He double-​checked that the flow was unimpeded by turning on all of the faucets and toilets in the house, and finally cleared up any debris. It took all of 45 minutes work, and I got a 10% discount, too! Despite using Roebic Root Killer every six months in the line, Abraham said that the roots would still cause a backup every few years. Our new home’s area drain was clogged due to the season’s first rain storm and we had standing water in our driveway. I called RR and they immediately put us on their day’s calendar. Rob arrived that afternoon, snaked our drainage system and made sure future rain storms would flow smoothly. Highly rec!

5-​Stars! As hard as it is to find a good mechanic for your car, it is even harder to find a good plumber. Richard from Roto-​Rooter Concord is the one!
I had a pressure pump leak over a weekend and after paying another ‘East Bay’ company for a visit and assessment — they never returned my calls back leaving me ‘high and dry’ (or in this case very much wet).
Thanks to Unilocal,I found Roto-​Rooter of Concord and got a visit from Richard. He was very professional, punctual and hard-​working. He worked tirelessly to try to find out the source of the problem with the pump. Unfortunately, after partially disassembling the unit it seemed as we needed a new pump. But what about the leak? Well thanks to Richard experience, he was able to bypass the faulty pump by devising a set of shutout valves. His craftsmanship was really amazing and you could see he really takes pride in his line of work. He always had a professional and calm attitude and was really patient to explain what he was doing. Thanks, Richard!

Totally amazing service. All of my yard drains were backed up. Yard was flooding. Very complex system and we had no idea how the drains went from the yard to the street.
Day one they spent 3+ hours working on the problem. Worked into the dark and cold wind. Snaking and working stuff out. On day 2 they brought out a camera and extra snakes. In the end they gave me 6 hours work for the cost of only 3.
I will never use any other plumber. Now a customer for life.

My absolute LAST RESORT for plumbing needs! Over-​priced and they milk their time on the jobs. Usually take forever to get out to the job and have been later than their scheduled «time-​frame» many times. I manage a building that has many plumbing problems and after years of using them, I have learned my lesson and started using a local small-​scale plumber who is amazing. Now we only use Roto-​Rooter as a last resort. Also, as a warning: DO NOT have them do camera work, they charge a ton of money and then you do NOT give you a copy of the DVD/​CD so that you can take it to other plumbers for estimates. Go through a leak detection company who also does camera work and they come out and provide you with the DVD/​CD so you can take it to ANY plumber to get pricing comparisons for the work you need! Roto-​Rooter is a rip off.

Well after the 3^rd time of both bathrooms flooding, our last experience with the technician Richard was seriously the most informative, thoughtful, and genuine care we have received yet from Root-​Rooter to resolve this reoccurring issue. The previous times we were satisfied and the problem was resolved for the time being, but comparatively to the other technicians Richard went above and beyond to really find the root of the problem.

When it comes to home repairs, when it rains, it sometimes pours. Gayle’s Son had been here earlier last Saturday to help with some relatively minor plumbing and other fix-​it jobs. Then the hard rain came, that overwhelmed the municipal sewer system and clogged the pipe with leaves and swollen tree roots. Our first clue that we had a sewer back up issue was during a laundry load when the toilet started bubbling and water came up through the tub. At least there was no overflow, brown accents, or smell.
After asking around and performing a few Internet searches, it was clear that we needed Roto-​Rooter. The person on the other end of the phone was friendly and helpful, a timely appointment was made, and we were clean as a whistle in no time.

I am writing my review based on the service and the quality of work that I received. I can not speak to price because I have not done any comparisons. They were, however, the only plumbers to get back to me within 24 hours.
