History

Established in 1959.

Jason D. Morse was born in Boston and moved to Laconia, New Hampshire in 1946. He found employment with Sawyer’s Jewelry. In 1959, he teamed together with James Thibodeau, who was married to a Sawyer, and combined the Sawyer name with the Morse name to form Saymore Trophy Company.

Over the last 50 years, Saymore Trophy has been owned by:

–Harrison Noyes of Hudson Trophy Company

Saymore Trophy is now owned by Gregory Slossar, who has introduced many new product lines and services. Saymore Trophy offers expert engraving services in which many other engraving and trophy shops around the country turn to for support. Saymore Trophy is well known in the engraving industry.

In 2009, Saymore Trophy Company celebrates its 50^th year in business. Customers of Saymore Trophy now find a wide range of products offered, such as Engraved Gifts, Specialty Awards, Self Inking Stamps and Signage.

Meet the Business Owner

Gregory S.

Business Owner

Gregory Slossar was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut and lived in Trumbull, Connecticut until he was 18. In 1993, Gregory joined the U.S. Army and became a paratrooper with the 82^nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, N.C., where he met his wife Bobbi — who was also a paratrooper.

In 1997, Gregory found employment with a company called Gravograph/​New Hermes, which manufactured engraving machines. He quickly moved up the ladder and when the opportunity came to go back home in New England, he jumped at it.

In 2000, Gregory and Bobbi moved to New Hampshire. In 2001, Gregory ran for Selectman in the town of Salisbury and served a 3 year term. During his term he utilized the GI Bill offered by the U.S. Army and attended Southern New Hampshire University and in 2005 he earned his Bachelors of Arts in Psychology.

Gregory purchased Saymore Trophy Company in January 2006.
