Senor Burbujas Laundromat

This place is really overpriced, for the largest machine it’s $ 8.25!
And at the laundromat down the street it’s $ 6.75 for the largest machine.
Also you have no choice but to use their card specifically and only for their laundromat (I 100% prefer coins instead!) so if you have any remaining change left is wasted on the damn card.
The dryers are overpriced also, .35 cents for 10 minutes, again at the laundromat down the street it’s .25 cents and you get to use coins! No card!
Side note: I know it’s called Señor Burbujas, but not all Latin/​Hispanic people wash laundry too. The music was 100% Spanish. That was just a little pet peeve, maybe could’ve made it more diverse but what did I expect I guess.
But it is clean, and has nice big tables to fold your dry clothes on and there’s like a whole washing section on the other side too so tons of space!
SIDE SIDE NOTE: I feel like their «Thursday’s free drying all day» sign is misleading, yes it says (30 minutes) but no where does it say only 1 machine of 30 minutes! I expected to use as many drying machines for free for 30 minutes each. That’s literally the only reason I tried this place in the first place.

Excellent service, excellent price, excellent staff. This is the to go laundry if you are in the neighborhood.

I dropped off a comforter to be washed, they charged $ 1 a pound and it was worth every penny. Friendly staff and the comforter was clean and folded when I got it back. Would definitely go there again

Very clean and bright. Helpful and hardworking staff. Never had to wait to wash or dry. Weekly deals on wash and dry cycles. Better than average laundromat.

Have to agree with most negative reviews. 1^st, there are no paper towels or sink outside the folding area. «IF» and when the bathroom is avaialble, good luck with toilet paper, you can forget about the paper towel cuz there are none. 2^nd, their card system stinks, although I can understand some people may just wanna go there and get quarters, but don’t do laundry. If they had an option to pay with credit card like Advantage Laundry at Pleasant Hill, that be nice. As a matter of fact, they should check out this laundry and maybe get some idea, although my only complaint about there is «Parking» stinks! Overall, Burbujas staff are nice and always friendly even the owners, parking is great, hours are good, and the place is very clean even all the machines. I’d give a 5 Star and return, but only if they fix these concerns. For now, Advantage has my vote, even if staff aren’t that friendly…

I don’t even know why I keep coming here. They never have soap and paper towels and the bathroom! It’s disgusting. I regularly go and they never have it! I’m going to look somewhere else to wash my clothes.

How embarrassing!!! We just got kicked out of the laundry matt. My husband and I came here on a Saturday night at 8:30, the Business Hours outside say open from 6am-​10pm daily. We read that 9pm is the last wash load so we had two loads ready to go. Then a lady who works there came to us and told us that they were closed. She also said the doors were locked, we told we her but we just got in. She said that they close before 9 if no one is there. No where does that say that outside next to their business next to their business hours. How embarrassing, we had to take our close out of the washers and be asked to leave. I wish I didn’t have a balance on my washing card cause I would not want to go there again.

Love this place! Seriously, I just said I love a laundromat. It’s true! Family of five, broken washing machine, tons of laundry, what does one do? I headed out to a few different laundromats over the course of a few weeks. This is my fave! Big, bright, and conveniently located right by El Molino and some of the most delicious Mexican food around. This is a family owned laundromat, and the people who own it and the people who work there (Josefina!) are lovely. Josefina will happily give you all the help you need. I asked about fifty questions the first time I was there and she was as helpful as could be. There are huge washers and dryers and they work really well. The *only* thing I don’t love is the fact that there isn’t wifi. It’d be nice to hunker down and stream Netflix while my clothes are drying, but, that’s not a deal breaker. I really dig this place. In fact, we have a new washing machine, but I’m still going to Señor Burbujas every once in a while when I need to do huge loads. Great place!

Very clean establishment but make sure if you come on a weekend that you get there early! There are plenty of machines but it seems as though on the weekends people bring in laundry from a 20 person family. Daily specials including one on Thursdays where they will give you 30 minutes of free drying time. Open early, 6am, which is great… no one is there that early. Also, if you check in on Unilocal you get a $ 5 coupon off the wash/​fold service.

This is the cleanest and largest laundromat I’ve ever been to. I really like the fact that I can drop off all of my throw rugs in the morning and they are ready for pickup within a couple of hours. AND, the price is rigtht — $ 1.00 a pound!!! It is nice to find a laundromat that has an attendant there to help you out.

I came here because my dryer broke at home and I had a load of wet clothes I needed to dry ASAP. The card payment system they have setup is annoying. I prefer just a regular coin operated machine. With the card system you can only add money in $ 0.30 increments and if you do one load you’ll have money left over on your card that you cannot get refunded. Not a fan of this system.

1^st Visit: There should be «0» ratings… I had came in on a Thursday, didn’t know u get a Free Dry All Day (1×30min dry) until I was there. HATED that I couldn’t break my $ 20 for the laundry in the machine that apparently u need their card to activate the washer/​dryer. Had the lady break down my $ 20. Drying time comes… Where’s the attendant for my free dry? Not around. Where’s the instructions for using the dryer? None! Stuck the card in the dryer, nothing happens, stuck it in the machine again, nothing happens… finally got it to work. The lady comes back, informed her I was looking for her to get my free dry as advertised, said come back next Thurs. told her I’d be back on the weekend. She gave me her name and said just let the other worker know she owed me a free dry. Ok.
2^nd Visit: Following Sunday or Monday, went back, informed the attendant that the lady on Thurs said to let her know she owed me a free 30 min dry. She flipped out, seemed like she was the Manager? Said, «If the lady wasn’t here then she may have been on a break or lunch, u do understand that we need to take breaks and lunches?» I was like wow, the previous lady was being nice and offered me the free dry, it wasn’t like I demanded it. After being RUDE, she dried one of my loads for 30mins. I only came here a 3^rd time bc the laundromat I go to is being remodeled :(Señor Burbujas is a newer and cheaper place but their SERVICE SUCKS!!! And, the point that they make u use their card (bc they want to keep u coming back) where you’re always left with a balance SUCKS… I.e. a 35 or 55 cents per dry but u don’t take coins? U have to PAY BY THE $ 1, so u always end up with loose change on the USELESS CARD, u can’t use anywhere but there!!!
3^rd Visit: Washed my loads, the washer didn’t wring out my clothes so it came out soaked. Needed to add money. Put the card in, put a dollar in bc I needed 2 more dries, (scenario: 2 dries @35 cents = 70 cents, u have 30 useless cents left on the card per dollar or 2 dries @55 cents = $ 1.10 so u have 90 useless cents remaining on the card). Anyway, the machine turned red, I waited for my money to come out (confused to why my card wasn’t credited) again, I waited but nothing happened, the machine said, See Manager, I was like SERIOUSLY, good thing I added only a dollar bc I NEVER GOT REIMBURSED. There was an older mexican man behind me, I told him that machine didn’t work. I then left to get the attendant who said the machine should’ve given me my money back, I said it didn’t. She said she can’t refund me. I said, THE MACHINE TOOK MY $ and YOU’RE NOT GIVING IT BACK? She said, SHE BELIEVES the Mexican man TOOK MY MONEY and LIED about it. I told her, «I stood there confused to what wasn’t happening and waited but no money came out. I asked her to give me the business card with the Managers name on it. She said she’d be right back with it but she «NEVER» did. She walks by several times, assists other Customers, changed the TV, Sweeps, but DIDN’T CARE ABOUT MY REQUEST TO CONTACT THE MANAGER JOSEPHINA? I didn’t remind her for the next 30mins while I waited for my laundry, I figured, I’D JUST Unilocal. I can’t wait until my regular laundromat finishes the remodel!

I dropped of my clothes to be washed and they did a poor job folding. And placed all my clothes together in a big black plastic bag and had that garbage bag smell.

First of all I hate laundromats. It’s just a pain in the ass to haul your laundry anywhere and they’re usually dirty and crowded. But this place was so fast and easy! Stick money in the machine and get a card that you can swipe in the washers and dryers. I love not having to get a million quarters to stick in the machine or have leftover for next time! And the washers are SO fast. It was pretty clean and there were no weirdos creeping around the place (that I could see, anyway).
Best laundry place I’ve been to in CA so far! And the name is cute:)

This place is awesome! I love the fact I can drop off my laundry and pick it up all nice and fresh and clean for only $ 1 a pound! I brought in 26 pounds of laundry and it cost $ 26 dollars and that even included soap which is a great deal. I never have to stress over doing my laundry for hours again. With my busy schedule at work this is a blessing. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly! I would highly recommend them!

Attempted to do my laundry here a few weeks ago. I’ll never make that attempt again. This may be a great laundromat if you like over-​paying to wash and dry your clothes, or if you enjoy listening to insanely loudly blasted Spanish music and enjoy being stared at by non-​English speaking folk hoarding around the exterior of the building.
But if you’re a young white gal like myself — you’ll probably feel far more comfortable at one of the other coin-​op spots nearby.
As for the staff — when I walked in, I couldn’t find anyone who worked there that could tell me where to get a card for the machine — I honestly looked all around and just got mad dogged left and right by people who seemed to be upset that a white person was in the laundromat. I’ll give my business to people who don’t alienate you and make you feel totally uncomfortable for just trying to wash your damn clothes.

I absolutely dread laundry. I put it off as long as possible. Going to Señor Burbujas is like turning the laundry experience into a fiesta, complete with salsa music and a wonderful, upbeat vibe. Of course, I prefer doing laundry in my own home; but when visiting the area, I went to Señor Burbujas on a hunch. I’m glad I did. It’s very clean, modern, and most of all it is HAPPY. I went away with a big smile on my face. Thank you!

AWESOME!!! Took 52 pounds of clothing in to take advantage of the wash and fold service they offer. Not only did I get $ 5.00 off for checking in with Unilocal, but I only paid $ 47 for the young lady to use their detergent, their fabric softener, their bleach, AND the best thing was… they folded everything!!! My laundry smelled fresh, and was super soft. I will NEVER again do my own laundry as long as I live in this neighborhood! Every penny was worth it!

Yes this place is not located in the best side of town but don’t let that fool you. Like they say «Don’t judge a book by its cover.» My washer at home is getting repaired so that’s what brought me here. They have double, triple, 5 loader washers and even an 8 loader washer. Prices I guess are reasonable haven’t been to a laundry mat in a while, but this is the cleanest one I’ve ever been to.
