History

Established in 2015.

T2C Smokehouse was founded in Charlotte, North Carolina by three longtime friends with the support of their family and friends.

Michael, a native of North Carolina, was brought up learning the traditional methods of cooking Eastern North Carolina style BBQ, such as pit roasting whole-​hogs over wood. He has refined his craft over the years by cooking for his own family as well as larger family gatherings and traditional BBQ cookouts with family and friends. With a dream and passion to start his own BBQ company, Michael wanted to show his love for cooking traditional-​styled barbecue that he shared with so many of his close family and friends through food with others. He and his wife, Michelle, are the proud parents of one son and one daughter.

Toriano, a Texas native, enjoys the «low and slow» which he has shared with so many of people he has come in contact with for year. Toriano enjoys fellowship and providing this experience to the community over food. With a constant request to
