Had these guys hide some wires on our mounted tv. They were very polite, fast, and knew exactly what they were doing. They even took their shoes off before coming in! Would definitely recommend them and will use them again for any technical installations.

After a failed DIY project with wireless cameras which regularly screwed up my wifi bandwidth, I figured I needed to get ‘real’ security cameras installed in my house. After a paid consulting visit with the ‘tech experts’ from couple of chain electronic stores, I decided to call up Tech Umma based on Unilocal reviews. Saad showed up the next morning for consultation for which he didn’t charge me anything. After he offered his explanation on how he was going to wire up the cameras in my house and sending me a quick quote (which was cheaper then competition), I decided to go with Tech Umma.
Saad, Ahmed and team finished the project in my house our last couple of days in december. They conducted their work very throughly. Eventually looking at their excellent work I decided to install couple of cameras more and mounted my tv to the wall as well.
All cameras wires are concealed and the dvr is hidden somewhere in the house (the way security cameras are to be installed), far cry from the ‘tacking the wires to the wall’ which so called tech squads from electronic shops were offering. Now I can be on the road, yet get a live feed from each corner of my house on my smartphone.
Tech saavy contractors are very hard to find and connected devices in your house are the future of the world. We need great techie folks like one from Tech Umma in your neighbourhood to help install these gadgets at your home. I wish them all the best for succcess of their business.

We purchased a 55″ flat screen TV, mount, sound bar and floating shelves from Costco. Upon some research, we found Tech Umma. They were great in contacting within minutes of me putting in my inquiry. Not only was he very flexible with the timing, but was also very respectful to the fact that I had a very limited time allotted for the installation. They came and installed both of my TVs and were out within 1 ½ hour. Last point, they took the time to ask what cables I wanted plugged in BEFORE it was mounted and it became difficult. Just the little things that I appreciate.

Tech Umma just installed 10 cameras at our house and did a great job. Cameras work well and the quality of their work was fantastic. Their prices are very reasonable and they guarantee their work. We got 5 bids from various providers and these guys were by far the most reasonable. If anything doesn’t work properly, they will take care of it for you. They are nice guys and will work hard to make sure you get what you want and are happy.

I’m completely satisfied with my installation process. It started with a call for a quote. They were able to fit me in same day to come by and look at the property in order to give an accurate quote. We went over the number of cameras, location of cameras, and how they’d get access for wiring. From my research, their prices were competitive without compromising on quality. I already had a Costco system I wanted them to install. There was no pressure to buy through them or push any type of upgrade which I appreciated. They were professional, informative, and very polite.
On install day they came out on time and completed the job quickly and without issue. That is always nice! Overall I’m satisfied with their service. I’d definitely contact them again if I needed additional work done.

Here is why you hire Saad, Ahmad, and Sudir from Tech Umma: they have brains, and they use them. They brought their expertise to bear to create a clean installation for my home theatre and network in an older home. I worked with a different home theatre installation company in my previous home, and they did exactly what I described, even though I do not have a background in home theatre installation. As such, what was installed with the other company was terrible. Not with Tech Umma. They politely made excellent suggestions to improve the installation and make it more functional for me. I appreciate working with good, smart people, and Tech Umma is that type of company.
I was also pleasantly surprised that they also install security cameras/​systems. So, now my home theatre is installed, my wifi network is extended, my wired network reaches multiple rooms, and I also have security cameras installed that I can monitor from anywhere, without having to call anyone else. Good people, good company, great work!

The guys from Tech Umma were very professional and helpful. They were responsive via text and arrived on time both days. I appreciated their feedback and they did a great job mounting out tv and concealing the wires.

This is my 1^st time writing a review on Unilocal.
I bought Lorex 8 channels surveillance cameras from Costco, called several places for installation quote. Ahmed & Saad respond promptly, they came over to my house the same day right after they finished their last job. They checked my house lay out and gave me suggestions for the best location of each camera to install. they had very fair price compare with all the other places I called. Ahmed is very knowledgeable about what he is doing, he is very friendly and patient with me since I am a very picky person. I will highly recommend them to everyone, and I guarantee you that you will be very happy with their service.

Saad and Ahmad were super friendly and helpful during the whole process. We had a bunch of IP cameras installed and 2 ethernet lines ran into bedrooms that didn’t have good wifi. All is working well! As with any installations, there were some issues that arose but these guys were really great at getting back to me and very quick to trouble shoot any issues we had. Thank you! Great customer service and I’d be happy to use them again.

Tech umma had affordable prices, and they are most willing to adjust services to your like. All the work they did was very professional and sleek. My business is now complete with the help of tech umma.

Saad and Ahmad were nothing short of a miracle! After calling three other places who claimed to be booked out for months in advance and wanted outrageous prices, Saad and Ahmad came the very same day earlier than the appointment time! They completed the job, and even helped my husband with another project! They also gave us awesome advice as to where we should get our electronics from, for great prices!
