Formed by Janine Jones in 2013 after a long career in corporate America. When trying to think about what was next in my life I knew I had a love affair with skincare and it’s industry. After spending more than 20 years in corporate america as a manager that wore many hats and managed many people and personalities, I knew it was time to slow things down. Though my first thought was retirement I knew I was not ready yet. One day while I was staring up at my esthetician having a relaxing facial I thought to myself «you have a great job». I asked her several questions and after already having 3 degrees and doing much research I found myself back in school learning how to become one of the top Estheticians in the area. After attending Milan and receiving my license I continued to seek advance education with some of the top skincare companies in the United States. I have earned advanced education certificates from PCA, Image and the IDI Institute. I believe that it is important that we keep up with all of the cutting edge practices, treatments and products that continue to evolve in the skincare industry.

Janine is awesome ! I went to see her because I had a major breakout going on for months and I did not know what to do anymore. On top of cleaning my face, she reviewed my routine with me and changed it completely. After a few treatments with her, my acne was 70% cleared up. Now, 6 months after starting seeing her, my acne is gone, my skin looks so much better than before breaking out. We are working on the residual marks, it’s a long process but I know it will go away too. I trust her completely, she knows skin AND she is nice and funny. Janine always goes the extra mile, I always leave her place happy and I can’t wait to see her again for my next appointment.

Janine was awesome! My eyelash extensions look flawless. Very reasonable prices compared to other local spas/​salons. She was very informative about dos and don’ts for lashes since i was a newby. The whole experience was painless and relaxing. She’s such a sweet lady i ended up falling asleep after chatting a bit. I highly recommend The Face Bar I will definitely be back!

Got a facial done and had an appointment the very next day! I can’t even put into words how motherly and sweet Janine is! She really takes her time on your face and always makes sure you’re comfortable. She tells you about every product she puts on your face before she does. Walked out and my skin was already glowing! Booked my next appointment in 3 weeks love love love this hidden gem!

I almost don’t want to give this hidden gem away but Janine truly deserves the business for the best customer service! After calling numerous places I found them to be either way too overpriced or not convenient because you have to book soooo many weeks in advance. I have never got my eyelashes done before so I was a little scared to try it out but even on the phone I felt very comfortable with Janine. She thoroughly explained the process, the truly affordable price compared to many places, and even made it extremely convenient for me for booking an appointment literally last minute. I needed my eyelashes done because of my graduation event the next day and NO ONE else could book me. For my first time experience again, felt very comfortable… So comfortable that I fell asleep through almost the entire time I was there. I woke up and fell in love with my lashes! My eyes weren’t glued shut like I read on a lot of other reviews… My whole family and friends love them as well and are now in the process of booking an appointment with her! You won’t regret it :)

Love my lashes! Janine is a sweet little lady. She was very accommodating and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. Hi Everyone! first I want to start how I met the wonderful Janine Jones, the owner, the talented esthetician of The Face Bar. I met Janine when she was in Milan finishing up her school, my mother was her client and she recommended me to go to her. She is very sweet and understanding lady, and is very passionate about helping others to feel beautiful, that’s how I knew she stoop up from others. I have combination skin and I suffer from big blind acnes on my chin and she helped me so much that I do not even have them as much as anymore. Ever since than I have been only seeing her for my facials because I know I won’t trust anybody but her. She really knows the needs of an individual person and very acknowledged in everything she do. Other plus is that she uses organic products on her clients, called Eminence from Hungary, the products are super effective and natural. It has been almost two years I have been going to her, and she still does make me feel beautiful after all my facials. She just an amazing person overall!!! Lover her!!! Give the Face Bar a try, you will love it!

Janine is the most awesome person EVER! I have been going to her for about 9 months or so and I love her. I have done facials, waxing and eyelash extensions. Every service she does for me is perfect. My favorite thing about going to Janine is how honest and knowledgeable she is; if you ask for the $ 100 treatment when you really only need a $ 50 treatment, she will tell you. Does not try and force you to buy products either. Janine is extremely accommodating to your schedule — I have had to cancel the same day my service was scheduled and she is always understanding and open to rescheduling for whenever you need. I cannot recommend her enough. I started going to her because of how great she is at her trade, but now I look forward to seeing her and catching up on life. She is very easy to talk to — and funny! Give The Face Bar a try — you will not regret it!

Janine was so accommodating she fit me in the very next day for a badly needed eyelash fill. She is very knowledgeable about her products she is very professional her prices are very reasonable I am so happy I found her!!!
I have gotten many compliments on my lashes! I love them, they look and feel real!
parking is easy. I would give 5 ‘s but this is a new location for her and she is in the process of decorating it.

I heard about this place from a Groupon 3 months ago and I have been a faithful customer of Janine’s ever since.
The service she provides is amazing and the products are top quality. She really took the time to look at my skin and use the products and give me recommendations on how to improve it. Every facial is personalized to my needs and is very affordable for a local business providing this type of service. The masks also feel fantastic!
Parking is very convenient and the building is not difficult to find. They also do waxing here, which is a total plus. I have never had a hard time getting an appointment and Janine works around my very busy work and school schedule.
I love the generous samples, calming music, and mini massage you get with every appointment. Janine is my every-​six-​week therapy and I am so happy I met her.
You need to give this place a try!

Had my first facial and it was amazing. My skin feels and looks great. Can’t wait to make this a part of my regular pampering! They just moved to a small place off Pacheco in downtown concord. They are still decorating so it does not look like a typical spa but you definitely get a good treatment. Janine is great and makes you feel comfortable.

I get my haircut next door at ‘the Parlor’ and my barber recommended that i go see Janine about, for lack of better words, my poor skin. I was a little sketch at first about dropping money on something for 1, I’ve never done and two you never know if there is a kick back for a referral from a neighboring business.
Janine offers up to 50% off discounts for first time clients, so i figured i’d check it out.
Location — downtown Concord, directly across from a FREE parking garage in Todos Santos Park. Anyone familiar with Concord would know that this location is always happening with farmers markets, events and eateries.
Service — Ill start with that i’m am totally new to all of this. It was nice to find out that this place specializes in men’s face care. I went with the normal ‘gentlemen’ facial, takes about an hour, but it’s well worth the time. Janine was extremely knowledgeable, while going through the process she explained all the steps and products she applies to you. She went into depth on what exactly everything was for and how it works. Again, this is very reassuring for someone who has never done this. She has a very gentle touch and it was very much so a relaxing experience. After everything was done, Janine also taught me how to maintain my newly renewed skin.
Price — I don’t have anything to compare it to since this was my first time. But i would say that the first time client discount def helps out and it well worth giving it a shot.
I’ll speak for myself, but i think most men would agree that after getting a haircut they feel like a brand new man. I would say that after getting a fresh cut and then getting a facial on top of it will make you feel like your on the top of the world! I will definitely make it a habit to visit this place every few months. Thanks again!

This place is AMAZING! I’ve had facials, peels and eyelash extensions. These ladies really care about what’s important to you and that you receive the results that you’re looking for. I’m doing a series of peels and my skin is transforming. The eyelash extensions were great and it was nice not to have to wear mascara and it saves a lot of time getting ready in the morning. :)
