Types of Classes we Offer:

Welcome! Check out the class schedule for our exciting Karate Program Today. The Rock Martial Arts is here to provide Martial Arts training for the Cabarrus County (N.C), and surrounding communities. Goju Ryu Japanese Karate is the style that is taught.

Pebbles Beach– A program designed for children 3 to 6 years old. The students learn martial art, and life skills.

Kid’s Classes– This is designed to build confidence in students who respect themselves and others. The classes are for children 7 to 15 years old.

Private Lessons– Scheduled accordingly one-​on– one lessons that are for students who want to learn more about martial arts.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Sensei James Lunn is the Head Instuctor at The Rock Martial Arts. Sensei Lunn was taught by sensei Johnny Jones and Sensei Calvin Reid. Sensei Lunn started karate at the age of 5 and has been a martial artist for over 20 years. He also served in the U.S. Military. Sensei Lunn is a native of Concord, North Carolina and has traveled regionally to Local and National Karate Tournaments as a Blackbelt.
