Really nice and friendly staff. We had a great encounter with our cashier and the woman who does the free samples. They both were very kind to my kiddos. The cashier gave them both scratch and sniff stickers. She also engaged in conversation with us and welcomed us to the community. Lastly, the store was clean and well organized. Definitely going back. It was my first trader joes experience too!

I have come to love and appreciate TJs and have discovered some really great foods and produce there that I now buy on a consistant basis. My favorite is the frozen food sections with the grilled peppers and onions as a top choice. The frozen mashed potatoes are incredible and also affordable and the turkey meatloaf is a fantastic alternative to beef and really tasty! Love the spices and prices are pretty damn good!

Love this Trader Joes location! Staff is very friendly and the prices are affordable for the quality of food they sell. Trader Joes is the only grocery store that I look forward to going to because of all the fun/good selections of food they have. Parking lot can be a mess at times… but then again I usually shop Saturday mid day so it’s to be expected. This place rocks!

It a TJ’s the food is good, there are little to now preservatives, the pricing is extremely reasonable and the workers are actually happy to be at work. Always refreshing compared to a big box grocery.

Friendly workers, always find parking upfront, check out is a breeze. Alright alright alright. One of the workers let me know that if I see a beer in a 6-pack, but I only want one, I can pluck it out and buy it as a single. Saweeeet.

This location is just wonderful. It is usually busy, but nothing like the big chain stores. Every time we come here, we are able to get everything we need in one stop. The produce is usually great, and the organic section is rather big. The staff is always stocking the freshest items all throughout the day, and it is a very clean location. Keep up the great work!

Love TJ but this review is about the Concord management folks behind the tall wooden desk front(that doesn’t lend itself to friendliness to begin with). I’ve twice now opened a TJ Half and Half 8oz(well within the exp. date) to find them curdled. When returning them each time I was met with a willingness to refund of course, but a less than accommodating tone much less an apology. Not favorably impressed, esp. considering the image Trader Joe’s cultivates.

Good olé reliable Trader Joes. You really can’t go wrong here since the product is the same from place to place. Just go in, get what you need, and head home. Just wish there was one in Vacaville.

Love it and hate it. Interesting selection and good prices. However, often out of what I want and produce not always fresh, Staff very friendly and often unique foods

How can you go wrong with Trader Joe’s? Even when they’re super crowded and selling out of products, all their reps are more than willing to help you. I love Trader Joe’s and have never had an issue or problem with anyone. I love that you can return, try and return products you don’t like. And the demo booth is typically serving up really awesome food to try.

Trader Joe’s is what every grocery store should be, friendly, convenient and full of good eats. I love the prepared salads for busy weeks. Spices are affordable here. This time of year it’s full of pumpkin everything. I draw the line at pumpkin tortilla chips. Since TJs tend to be smaller it is easier to get in and out quickly. And you won’t find name brands here even though items are made by name brand suppliers. Edamame hummus, frozen lava cakes, fresh flowers, sparkling wine too many good things to count here!

Still a great T.J.‘s. Why still? Well, because this is NOT the location I shop at due to the fact of where I live in Concord. I shopped with a gentleman here the other day, although he was the on getting to take the food home. From what I can tell having worked retail, and also going to other grocery stores, T.J.‘s employees tend to have fun and can be who they are. So, yes, I’m still impressed with this location, the apartment complex that I lived at when I would shop here was Broadway Towers==DONOTLIVETHERE. Our grandparents got us turned on to T.J.‘s many years ago, so, one could say it runs in the family.

I wish I could submit this with ZERO stars. TJ customer for over 20 years, but not anymore. Bought Wild Blue Shrimp from Mexico(from Concord Ave) and had FOODPOISONING for five days! I am sensitive to tainted food, so there is very little doubt that the shrimp were tainted. Corp QA suits in Monrovia did not give a crap. IFYOUHAVEBEENPOISONEDBYTHISPRODUCT(ORANYOTHERS), PLEASEREPORT. You don’t have to endure food poisoning, and it is best for public safety to report asap. You can report to your doctor, the FDA, your local store, or those warm and fuzzy people in QA. Monrovia TJQA contact = 626−599−2858, Christy Hammond Additionally, TJ is buying shrimp from the California Baja area, shrimp caught in entanglements, killing other species such as the Vaquitas, a critically endangered porpoise in the Upper Gulf of California. They are caught in entanglement nets used by the shrimp fleet. TJ uses this source because local Mexican authorities do not bother to manage the fishery properly. I assume this would be true for all Mexican seafood at TJ. PLEASE avoid the Wild Blue Shrimp going forward. TJ is not required by the FDA to address food poisoning if it involves only one person. If there are two or more victims, THEN they must report this to the FDA and the problem is escalated. Please report for everyone’s sake.

Parking is crazy and they have cute stuff like cutouts where you can snap photos. It is a typical TJs. nothing super stands out.

I love Trader Joe’s and this one is pretty much on par with all the others. Lots of helpful and friendly workers. It’s quite close to work, so whenever I feel like running some grocery errands or picking up a lunch, I can easily get to it. Parking can be a little tricky in peak times. Right now it’s Christmas season and so they have the Danish Kringle. I would suggest trying it out if you haven’t yet, esp if you have a sweet tooth and like almond paste. Other than that, everything here is pretty standard like any other Trader Joe’s.

My favorite Trader Joe’s by far! It does have it’s busy times but the shoppers just seem more polite than at some of the other locations I used to frequent due to where I used to live(El Cerrito and Pinole). I hear some people complain that TJ’s is more expensive than… I don’t know let’s say Safeway for example. I have a hard time seeing the comparison. I find TJ’s easier and more convenient to shop at, love the plethora of organic products, and the eco friendly cleaning and health products. The simple fact that the staff is friendly, helpful and«knows» their store and product when asked a question puts Safeway to shame. I’ll stick with TJ’s…thank you very much.

I still come here regularly and am blown away by excellent customer service. I was in the express line the other day and there was only 1 person in front of me. A TJ person swoops in and offers to ring me up at the adjacent register. Additionally, they are always so helpful. If you ask where something is, they walk you to that item. How awesome is that? The unreliable supply still does irk me. I buy their gnocchi and they didn’t have it for a few weeks. I now make sure I have an extra at home so I don’t run out.

My lovely, local Trader Joe’s — and thankfully one of my favorite locations! Very clean lay-out of the store means I’m not constantly smashing into other people. Beautiful and affordable fresh flowers, great samples(with staff who actually stay on top of putting out more & refreshing the coffee), and a super-nice guy in the wine section that can lead you directly to any wine you’re looking for. Diggin’ the $ 2 packaged Indian food, bags of quinoa, and red pepper-tomato soup. Glad this place exists!

Trader Joe’s is a blessing in a world full of grocery chains offering up the same ol’ crapola, or overpriced ‘health’. I’m still amazed at how much goodies I can walk out of TJs with for such a fair and reasonable cost! Thanks to TJs, I have fallen in love in with epic trail mix, free range brined whole chicken, organic EVERYTHING, orange chicken(DUH), endless produce and pre-made lunch options, frozen greek vanilla yogurt, hummus hummus hummus… the list just never ends! The employees in this store are awesome, and while sometimes it seems like there are always people stocking shelves no matter when you go, they will always make room for you to shop and help you find what you’re hunting for. I’ve also received some great tips in the checkout line, I would never have found the speculoos cookie butter without one awesome checker lady in particular! Thank you TJs, you will most definitely see me again and again!
