Vision Solar

I was very excited to put solar on my home, energy bills have always been one of my concerns from month to month. Vision solar was very friendly and knowledgeable about their equipment and service. In late September or early October, they came and put the panels on the roof and wired everything into my home. From then on there was absolutely no communication. No phone calls, no emails, no text messages. I had to call THEM to figure out why the service had not been activated. They claimed that they were waiting for an inspection. I myself have worked in construction for over 30 years and knew that was a load of crap, you call the inspector, they show up, most of the time in the next day or two, they inspect and pass it (or not). The first inspection failed all because they forgot to put a simple sticker next to the breaker that indicated where the solar was feeding into my home. The next inspection passed but there was still another weeks wait before the system was fully energized. What this boils down to is it seems the corporate offices need to get in gear. Start communicating with your customers! (Yes, we are actually customers) I will say on behalf of the crews that put the solar panels up and did all the electrical, great job. Thanks for being so polite. Finally it was energized in early February. It should NOT take five months to energize a system that was installed within WEEKS after signing the paperwork. Also, don’t call me 2 days after turning it on to ask me what I think about the service, try waiting until after I receive the next energy bill.

This company, Vision Solar came recommended by a good friend who had a positive experience with them. Yes, they were knowledgeable about the product, were responsive and quick to install equipment BUT then the account sat, and sat and sat! Six months from initial contact til turn on date Ahem, and if I had not sent a poor customer service comment to the parent company, I imagine I would be still sitting and waiting. The City came and the system passed inspection, but then… Others in the neighborhood who installed solar around the same time as I, went on to the grid two months earlier. I was not happy, especially as they were saving money in the heat of July and early August, I was still waiting for them to respond,.

from consultation to installation took around 45 days, as promised, the salesman was very knowledgeable about the product and very approachable when I required information, he is always contactable on his cell too which is a big plus for me. Making a saving of around $ 200/​month on average and doing my bit for the environment too so win win. The installation was done in 2 days, the contractors were extremely polite and clean and tidy. I’d recommend these guys to anyone.

I have signed up with this company in vegas and was very impressed. They installed within the time frame they gave me and now I’m saving $ 80 a month or so on my power bill.

We get our panels installed tomorrow and we’re pleased that we’ll soon save money on power and to be ‘going green’. — Kelly, our consultant, made it simple and we’re glad we qualified for this program. We’re inviting friends and family to do the same soon! I’m also sorry Ari had a bad experience — since we are in water treatment sales ourselves — we know how bad that is for potential customers to experience poor service or being ignored.

Yesterday these guys came knocking on my door and claimed to be working with PG&E to lower my energy costs. I asked them if they could read my NO SOLICITING sign to which they replied, «oh, we aren’t solicitors». Really? So you aren’t trying to sell me anything? Are you going to give me electricity for FREE? No, you are knocking on my door to sell me a product, YOU ARE TRESPASSING. Furthermore, I checked with PG&E, they have NO ASSOCIATION with you at all. Your guys continued to be pushy and try to make me let them in or make an appointment for another day. I told them to leave me a pamphlet and I will read it when it is convenient for me. They refused. These guys are sleeze bags!
