We used Hug em and tuck em Inn to board our 5 month old shih tzu while we were at a military conference in Charlotte. We did our research and called around looking for the right kennel. Right from the start I felt comfortable leaving my Dunkin at the Inn! John stood on the phone with me and explained the daily run down and how Dunkin would spend his time there.
When we arrived to drop off Dunkin, John walked us to the back and showed us where Dunkin would be staying, he placed his belongings in his «room» and introduced Dunkin to the other furry guests. He assured us we could call at any time to check on Dunks and we could also check their Facebook as they posts pictures of their guests.
They took such good care of Dunkin! They posted videos and pictures on Facebook through out his stay and he seemed to be having a blast socializing with new furry friends. They spend quite a lot of time with the dogs, playing and walking them at no extra charge!
We had the best experience and their pricing is super reasonable. If we are in the area we would most definitely use their services again! I highly recommend using them for your fur baby!
*side note* John the owner is an Army Veteran and we are happy our money went to support a Veteran owned business!

I could HUG ‘EM! I’ve been meaning to review this kennel for a while now because I definitely appreciate their services and ability to accommodate my family’s scatterbrained ways. First of all, their hours are specific in terms of how late you can drop off/​pick up your pet. My husband & I were running stupidly late dropping off our boxer and the owner gave us a call to check on us. He was so cool about our tardiness & waited for us to show up. Gold star #1. Upon our late arrival, we realized we did not bring our pet’s particular brand of dog food. They went to Walmart and picked up the right brand & formula of food for our pet. Gold star #2.
Our dog was walked and cared for with love. They posted a couple of pictures of our sweet pet to their Facebook page, so I knew she was happy while we were away. Very reassuring to know we leave our pet with a group of people like the team at Hug Em & Tuck Em.
